In the mean time I looked around and do they have a lot of good looking baked goods. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures. They also serve breakfast. We decided to split a special: a breakfast sandwich on a Kaiser roll, with a fried egg (made just right, just a little bit runny), plenty of really crispy bacon and pepper jack cheese (or whatever cheese you prefer). It looked a bit like an egg mcmuffin, but way, way better. It comes with a medium coffee. If you pay cash, they take about 3% off, probably the amount a credit card company charges them. Nice gesture to pass it on to the costumer.

Upon entering, the donut/cookie case greeted us. My kids squealed and asked for a donut. We decided to eat in, kids got donuts and we ordered full breakfasts. And then the donuts. Are you kidding me? We took them to go with a cup of coffee and what a delicious treat to have in the car. I seriously saved this place to my favourites because, although we are on a road trip-I'd definitely come out of my way for the food and baked items. The staff was so nice, as well. My kids were energetic for the early morning and very excited about the donuts and they engaged them with discussion about the donuts etc, having a co variation with them vs discounting them. Even giggled at my twins excitement over the treats. Felt like a l welcoming place, in a small town with kind people and great food. I even noticed how patiently the waitstaff explained a dish to another patron (who had a lot of questions and was comparing different meals with the waitress), it was handled with kindness, patience and truly a conversation that answered the patrons questions with integrity. Similar to other locations, it has welcoming Americana theming throughout and signature blue tiles on the floor. We went with the cookies & cream and raspberry pistachio donuts. As opposed to my prior experience with Parlor Doughnuts where they were prepared fresh, this location seems to have prepped a supply earlier in the day with a selection on display available for purchase. Both were great donuts, but lacked the texture as you bit into them that I had with my prior experience that put the donuts in the "next level" category for me. They also didn't provide the signature donut boxes, as they simply handed us a bag when we asked for a to-go box. Service wasn't all that warm & friendly or quick here, but still an overall good donut experience for me such that I look forward to visiting Parlor Doughnuts on my future travels.
