Newly renovated, new management, but same bad experiences. I get the same order at every Dunkin, but only this location constantly messes it up. They put more milk than coffee and my "toasted dark" bagel is always toasted to a bare minimum. Not made how ordered. I ordered a large macchiato. Light ice which i order every where at all dunking donuts as I drive airports. And I know there measurement where it's supposed to be filled too. This one was ridiculous. If she took another large cup filled it w ice to the top this amount would not even fill half. Older blond manager. I will never go back. The coffee is usually good. However, this specific location is consistently dirty inside. Floors marked up, trash on tables, tables needing wiped down, etc. I could understand one time, but on multiple visits. Also, there were flies all over the donuts this time. read more

I got yelled at by the manager. I was at the speaker for 20 seconds before the manager took over the speaker and screamed. It's the cross eyed, old lady. When I asked her what wrong with her she said that I didn't reply when she asked if there's anything she can help me with. I clearly did either way unacceptable. Got food/coffee here twice while I'm in town. They made the coffees well (yum) but the food was way sub-par, even for Dunkin which I get all the time back home. One word of advice: toast. If they could toast everything a little bit longer and not be in such a rush I'm sure the food would have been much better. The hash browns were barely even edible they were so not-toasted.. I understand they're always super busy.. maybe Punta Gorda needs to open a 2nd location so they're not always so slammed and can make my food to perfection :-) read more

It's a local Dunkin' but the worse parking ever!!! And you will get stuck leaving because the drive through line blocks the exit. Bathroom's not clean. We will continue to go because it is close proximity, good coffee and good donuts. read more

OK FOR REAL? I go to this DD every week and only sometimes do my coffees come out tasting rough. I've recently been running into issues with one specific new employee, he's mixed/ African American with curly hair and neck tattoos. He's never been rude to me but he sucks at his job! I glanced into the window and noticed he was the one making this order. I ordered a lava cake latte and it came out terrible! I've never tasted coffee so bad in my life. This wasn't the expresso or the milk or anything specific this was just straight up terrible, AFTER he tried giving me the drink without the toppings that it comes with and then ASKED ME what comes on it. I drove all the way back after arriving at home because it was so bad and undrinkable. The very nice lady who talked to me upsized the latte and remade it perfectly for me. This delinquent cannot be trusted and will never make my drinks again! (He's also forgot items of my order before) (DISCLAIMER: I am in no way trying to be raciest at all, he could have been any ethnicity and I would write this review the same way, he just simply sucks at his job.) Worst Dunkin I've ever been to. Ordered 2 iced coffees and one of them had ice almost to the top of the cup. When I went back to tell them I ordered regular ice and not extra ice they said that's how they were taught to do it. So basically they were taught to put the normal amount of ice in one drink and not the other!? They didn't offer to make a new one or anything. Horrible customer service. Won't be going back since I don't like getting ripped off. Never had any issues with any of the other Dunkin's I've been to and I've been to plenty since I'm from New England and they have one on every corner. I've been going to the Punta Gorda Dunkin for a number of years now, I gone to many others and surrounding areas for years, The service that I get from that location is extremely amazing A perfect example, This past Sunday they were shortstaffed. They had a few people call off. It left four in that building Mel, who is the Manager, Jackson, Kayla and Amanda to handle Sunday after church crowds both inside as well as the drive-through. I pulled up to see a line starting to form and I rolled down my window to listen to the greetings from the speaker. It was the same cheerful voice that I hear every day and I could tell they were stressed because I know them so well, but they were consistent and they got us through really quickly. Some might say, isn't that their job? Yes, it is, but in the food industry it is a tough job to do without extra hurdles, And this team to get through so well They know how to make my coffee perfectly. They know how to make my day start off on the right foot, this girl runs on Dunkin that is for sure. I know that so many times people are quick to send in reviews on complaints and are less likely to do one giving kudos, which I find to be disheartening. So I am here trying to let everyone know, including the employees, what a fantastic job they do day in and day out under the leadership of Mel. Each and every one of her employees brings so much to the table I think that's why it runs so well. Keep up the great work, everyone! read more

Updated review - was back again recently and was VERY impressed with the patience and professionalism from the lady behind the counter. An older customer felt she had been short changed and instead of the employee rolling her eyes and becoming offended she very graciously found someone to replace her at the counter then shut down her drawer so she could tally up money vs receipts to determine whether an error had been made. Even though I was next in line I didn't mine spending a few extra minutes at the counter because of this issue. Thank you DD for doing a great job validating your customer's concerns. Now...please serve some fresher donuts in the evening for us night owls. read more

What a turn-around!! The past several months this location is back to being expedient and convenient and getting everything just right. I'm not sure if Haylee and Rob are managers but since they have been taking and fulfilling the orders there is a much better order experience and end result! That's what everyone goes to a convenient coffee and breakfast spot for and these two have made that impact. I love Dunkin' Donuts. The best donuts and my husband is crazy about the Apple Fritters. I visited the one in Punta Gorda on 3/2/2020. The server was Maura, the manager is Kylie by my receipt. I was so disappointed in the service, Ms. Maura was one of the worst servers ever. I hardly said anything there but she was so rude and unpleasant that I had to write this review. The experience was so unpleasant that I hope never to go there again. There was a sweet young women working the drive thru window and heating orders and when I picked up my order from her she whispered I'm sorry. This helped. This is definitely not a review of Dunkin Donuts. How can you not love donuts. I am reviewing this location. I was meeting a friend one evening for a coffee and decided to stop in at about 830 pm, closes at 9. I thought I would get a treat while I was here and asked where are the donuts she replied, "we trashed them all". You throw away perfectly good donuts? She said that's managements orders. You aren't closed yet but trash inventory? I never heard of something so ridiculous. read more

Mistakes happen but when you politely return to the counter and the young lady is pushing munchkins into her mouth and doesn't utter ONE WORD to you and literally rolls her eyes when she gets it wrong for the second time. The person at the register, even when I pointed at the poster and to exactly what drink, still did not know what I wanted to order. Another customer waited more than ten-minutes for her coffee. WiFi is excellent, power outlets are numerous, but be wary that some of them turn off for some unknown reason. The lobby is fairly clean, but the bathrooms are very dirty. Well, let me start by saying that I've been a fan of Dunkin' Donuts since I've moved from CT two years ago. I've tried this Dunkin' Donuts next to my workplace quite a few times. Beverages, fine. Ask them to make you anything, and it's disgusting. Two days in a row I went there to get a toasted croissant with butter and cheese on it. You know, kinda like a breakfast egg and cheese croissant toasted with butter, minus the egg. What do I get both days in a row... a cold croissant with just cold butter on it. It's nasty. So I went through the drive through again, because I mentioned it twice over the drive through window to make sure they got it right this time. What do I get? Just a piece of cheese slapped on the same croissant. So I am not going to get any food here anymore. read more

Amazing service!!! We paid for 3 apple fritters and they only had one left so they refunded the two and gave us 4 FREE donuts! They got the wrong coffee but fixed the mistake with no complaint. Waited nearly 7 minutes at the intercom before I could place my order, then once I got to the window was then asked to pull forward and my latte would be brought out, waited another 10 minutes. Finally went in and asked about my beverage that I never got, the lady behind the counter that told me to pull forward gave me the dear in the headlights look and then walked around like she was lost before finally locating my latte. Offered me free stuff for the inconvenience, told her the coffee was all I wanted and they could keep everything thing else.
