Everybody knows how reliably good the donuts are. My favorite is jelly donuts. (Are they addictive? Might be.) Was on my way to the McHenry trailer dealer; was a little early. Great. Plenty of time to pick up donuts first. BUT - long line at the drive through, lots of cars in the parking lot. Decided to get in line and see what would happen. If it took too long, could always just leave. Line was fast, really, really, no-nonsense fast. Was through there in no time. Superb service. And FYI, DUNKIN - terrible online ordering set up you have there. Need to install an app. Keep pushing 'rewards' program. I was completely profiled by a young male Hispanic server. I ordered a large ice coffee with just almond milk. As I was next in line to pay and pick up, dude had his head out the window and stared at me and my squad car. I pulled up just as he started making my coffee and watched as he filled 90% almond milk with a splash of coffee. When I questioned what I saw him do, he said "right boss, let me try again". The food was and drinks tasted good. But when I normally come here they put SOO much cream cheese. But this time when I asked for less cream cheese they gave me none... I stop here a few mornings out of my week, on my way to work. Every time I visit, there is an issue with my order being right. The first time, I was given an iced coffee instead of a latte, the second time I was given a large instead of the typical medium I order and now I ordered a blueberry crisp and it's not sweetened. None the less, I have to repeat my order each time. I'm not sure how hard it is to take an accurate order- this place is not busy at 615 in the morning. I've never been to a Dunkin' that has disappointed me and yet this place does so every visit. I would not return if I had another option on my way to work. I feel like since I can remember this Dunkin' has been terrible. I went to get a large iced coffee, caramel and cream and I had to repeat my order 4 times. Got up to the drive thru window and they asked if I got 2 larges and 1 small. Nope... tell them again what I ordered. Hand them my card, thank god I asked for a receipt because they charged me for 2 larges and a small coffee. This is a combination Dunkin and Baskin. They are okay, their service is flakey at times with the staff not knowing what they are doing once in awhile. Especially the late night staff. (Note though, there is one older woman, Indian or Pakistani, who is amazing. She is fast, on the ball, and serves you quick!) TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! pulled up to the drive thru to order a two scoop ice cream ....instead of saying "excuse me" the lady has the audacity to scream "WHAT?!" at me. I repeat my order nicely. I go to this location a lot only because it's convenient. I had a breakfast burrito that didn't taste right. I said something to the manager, who was very apologetic, but I had to leave before getting sick. I didn't go back for a while and when I did, I found someone else's receipt in my drink. Yes, you didn't misread that. The receipt was in the bottom of my cup. We went for ice cream and got a couple of double scoops to which the girl working was confused on getting to begin with, then when ringing us up could not figure out what we had let alone how to ring it up. If I had a dollar for every time they screwed up my order! The worst part about it is, when ordering coffee, you really can't take a sip of your beverage right away, so I am too far away or at work to realize the mistake. Same thing goes for when ordering a breakfast sandwich, bacon on a bagel, nah ham on a croissant! I have been forced to patronize this establishment as it's the only location on my way to work. I've been at this shop about 20 times. About half of those times, they'll screw up something or make me go, 'huh?'. First couple of times in the drive through, I'd get the same 'Gentleman'. He kept calling me 'Haus'. I wanted to reach through the glass drive through door and teach him a lesson. The remaining instances, I'd go into the shop. I can think of about 6 times were they will screw up my order. Or better yet, the latest time, FORGET my order. I'd sit at the table while I watch my friend (which ordered 30 seconds before me) eat his sandwich. 5-10 mins goes by, I walk up to the counter and explain, I just ordered a bla-bla, I still haven't received it. HORRIBLE customer service. I was there at 2:00 exactly for their latte special. They said their clock said 1:54 and I would have to pull around again because there were cars behind me. I told them no, 2 cell phones,a watch and my car clock said 2:00. After arguing for a couple minutes I left. I will Never go back there. I guess the customers behind me were more important. I went to this location this morning with my family and a friend. My 1 year old knocked my coffee onto the floor. My husband asked for a mop and offered to clean it up. The staff member said he would take care of it. We stayed near the spill so no one would step in it. When no one came over, I cleaned the table and began using napkins to clean the floor. The staff member that my husband spoke to, then sat in a booth and announced to us that he's not on the clock anymore so my husband went back to the counter and explained the situation to another staff member who called out to the staff member that was sitting. He went in back and came to the spill with a soaked mop. He slammed it on the ground, splashing all of us and mopped wildly so that the ice from the spilled coffee scattered everywhere. I explained to him that he was making the floor more of a hazard. He just walked away, leaving a soaking wet floor and some coffee because he didn't mop it all up. read more

Donuts, bagels, coffee, and ice cream (attached Baskin Robbins) are all good; what you would expect from DD. Going inside is fine to order but the drive through can be a hit or miss depending on who is taking the order. The men are usually nice the only woman I have had has been rude to me on more than 1 occasion, even had my food tossed at me (it was in the bag, but still). The line can be long and since it's a small parking lot on the that side, many times there are cars sitting on the street to get into the parking lot. If I really, really have a taste for a DD or if the kids want ice cream I'll go but try to avoid if I can in the mornings due to the bad service/drive through issues. read more

I used to go to Dunkin donuts quite often, I do not go much anymore. My coffee is made very particular it's double cream and a few splenda. So my normal stop is on rte 120 in McHenry... I would leave the drive thru countless times and my coffee is not even remotely close to what I requested. Especially in the morning!! I called and complained once and left it at that... But since new staff what ever they do there they mess up my coffee every time now... Once I asked for my coffee the way I always drink it and as if I'm stupid or some thing; my coffee tastes like saccrin not splenda.... big difference!! Or it would taste like decaf... I took it back and told them to remake it with spenda and the answer I got was oh were out of spenda... what??? Then how did u make my coffee I asked... they didn't know what to say so I got a refund. Some times the coffee tastes burnt, stale. So I will have to find another coffee shop.
