Waited in the drive thru for 30+ min to get our food. I even went inside and tried to grab our food from the counter but was ignored for 10 min before my friends in the drive thru said they were almost to the speaker. By the time we got our food and drinks the food was cold and our coffees had separated and had no cold foam on the top. We happened to stay nearby to this Dunkin one night. The hotel offered limited breakfasts (due to COVID) and I felt like augmenting this with some additional coffee, and perhaps a donut to split with someone. I located this place and drove over. There was someone ahead of me in the drive through; they had an extensive order, involving a lot of special twists. They finally got done. I placed my order: a large hot coffee and a chocolate-frosted cake donut. What transpired after that was almost a comedy routine of negotiating what sort of donut I wanted. Yes, I will readily admit that this is not much of a problem in the grand scheme of things currently. However, I've never encountered this much trouble in ordering what, at all other Dunkin' locations, has proved to be a standard option. In the end, I settled for the wrong donut just to speed things up. I'm no so picky that I won't eat a yeast-based version. Still, how hard was it to get this right. I might have given 3 stars if only the coffee had been on-par, which it somehow wasn't. If I returned to Manhattan, I'd either skip the coffee or seek out an alternate Dunkin franchise. read more

I can smell this plastic lid from where I'm standing taking this picture. That is my biggest complaint. No coffee aroma, all I smell is plastic . Other than that I had to go home and heat up my coffee because it luke warm and so was my bagel. Not that I would have drank the coffee in that cup anyway. I also noticed the signature peppermint mocha latte was not made how it was pictured. It tastes like someone made Folgers and added a little syrup. Sooo.... my espresso saga continues... if you've read my reviews in the past you know where this is going.... First things first... my apple fritter was amazing this morning. The Machiato.... well... I'll need to shave soon... So the walk in side of the house had 1 person inside seated, ads me at the counter and that's two. I ask the young man behind the counter for a 20oz. Carmel Machiato with an add shot, a double shot of espresso in a side cup and an apple fritter. He punches me in and away we go... He is task saturated because a man walks in moments later and is left to stand at the counter while said cashier goes in back to make a sandwich for the drive through. He returns and takes the guys order. In what seemed like five minutes or more, my drink is placed sans extra double shot... I inquire to the barista about it and she says.... oh... you wanted those on the side? Good lord... what has she done? She half smirks and says that they are in my machiato.... Me. um, thats not what I ordered... She says sorry and goes to walk off... Me. Can I get a new one? She. You can order an extra diwn there.... Me. Yum! This place never misses, they always have my order made ready at the window! They're affordable and always accurate with orders.

I've never been a big Dunkin person but there's something special about this location. I don't know if it's just that it's in Manhattan but every time we go we have a great time. The customer service is always wonderful and they are always patient and helpful when my three year old picks out a donut. I'm also happy to know that it's locally owned. Most times that we've been inside, its been pretty quiet and they offer free WiFi so I could see it being a nice place to work or study and the drive thru is perfect for days when we're in a hurry. read more

This morning my husband and I stopped by the drive through for a little treat. I ordered a simple dark roast coffee with cream and he had two donuts and milk. The staff were friendly however, I had to repeat the order several times. Once we were arrived at the window the staff member greeted us with the total and was very friendly and professional. We payed and were given our order. Once received, we checked to make sure the donuts were correct, asked for some napkins and took off. In my opinion the coffee tasted watered down. And unfortunately I didn't check the order, 3 sugars were added to my coffee. I drank about half before noticing the printed order sticker stating so. I've worked at this Dunkin over the course of 4 months and have had many experience here, none of them good. I would like to start by saying the review left by previous employee William Cross is extremely accurate, but the corruption of Leiszler Oil Company (company who owns Dunkin in Manhattan location) does not end there. Not only is Dunkin roach and beetle infested from improper cleaning and not following protocol it's extremely unsanitary. As I was getting trained to be a shift lead cleaning was encouraged to just do as fast as possible to be able to get done faster instead of actually cleaning and ensuring guest safety. Employees are yelled at when they try and replace old soiled cleaning materials with new because it is "wasteful" The only employee that actually stated how important cleanliness was and showed me accurate protocols decided to leave the company due to mistreatment over the course of several years. Leiszler Oil Company issues right up's if you go into over time instead of rewarding you for your time you put into the company. I'm sure this is because they try to pay their employees as little as possible. Dunkin also leaves out donut and bakery racks over night with bird feces on it and use it the next morning and place donuts and bagel trays on them to later be served to guests. The higher ups of the store, Natalie Leiszler is one of them, who comes by every now and again is aware of the state of the store and does not care to fix it. Their store gm Kirstin Carpentier is racist and homophobic, and has made comments on my hair "looking a mess" and "crazy" when I wore my naturally curly hair as I am black. When I told her my hair isn't a mess I just am black and have textured hair, as if to add insult to injury she replied with. "I always worried what I would do if I had biracial kids because I wouldn't know what I would do with their hair." She does not respect any lgbtq gender identities causing many to quit as half of the youth working for this store are queer. Store supervisor Tracy Laclair has acknowledged this happened and has done nothing to correct her actions as this is not the first time she has said something discriminatory towards other employees. Kirstin is rude and very passive aggressive and often yells at employees making it an uncomfortable work environment and one of the many reasons this location cannot keep employees. Instead of replacing the gm area supervisor Tracy Laclair has stated to me that she won't push her too hard to do better because "she will just quit." even though Tracy is already planning on firing her and having the assistant manager Dustin take her place just waiting for an opportunity to do so. As she has stated to me "that is the direction she wants to go, because she cannot trust Kirstin to run the store." This company is no stranger to corruption as expressed by ex-employees of Leiszler Oil Company, they will not do what's right when it's right but when it benefits them. I am not just an angry employee who had a bad experience, I am a human that worked really hard and got promoted to shift lead after a few months at this location and really tried to improve the company in many ways including helping with new hires who usually quit after two weeks of just being thrown into everything with no trainer and constantly being yelled at and stressed over not doing a job properly that they were never given the tools or opportunity to perform successfully. Im a human that was treated as someone to live and work for a company that does not care about the customers nor employees health. I suggest not spending your money or time here because the only way to fix corrupt companies is to starve them out so they one day realize the future of their company is the employees giving everyday and everything to a job that barely pays minimum wage. We deserve fair treatment and a safe working environment that Leiszler Oil Company cannot provide at the current moment. read more

It just opened, so reviews can change. It's a four because I thought the service and friendly staff on such a busy morning did awesome. I would have put a 3 1/2 for the rest. The donut are yummy, coffee is okay. I have always heard raving things about their coffee but... It was okay. Nothing amazing but it also was new and flavored (I'm just a cream kinda gal) The only disappointment was that they don't have any gluten free options. They do in other locations according to the website. I hope they add some here. There are plenty of children and husbands in the area that would appreciate a gluten free indulgence. read more

Crew was really nice, but GM was disrespecting her employees. Saw my latte came out cold was super nice about it, and they're fixing it. But it's hard enough to find people as it is so I suggest GM here treats her crew members with a little more respect. Then, when the drink was made incorrectly after I had waited for 10 minutes (and I was nice about it) the manager argued with me and repeatedly told me that I was wrong. My husband and I are both from the east coast where Dunkin Donuts are on pretty much every street corner, so this is a must visit every time we are in Manhattan. Overall, pretty satisfied. Not all the drinks are like back home (will get into that later), but they have always been more than happy to exchange the drink for something else. The coolatas... they're just not the way they should be. I wish I could explain it better, but the consistency and taste were just off. Not only does this Dunkin' Donuts have wonderful donuts and coffee, but they have wonderful customer service and if you ever have an issue with them, they make sure to take care of you. Have gone to this store many, many times, more than I would like to admit, and I have had wonderful experiences every time and their coffee is so good, way better than starbucks and better priced. Being from Massachusetts, the opening of a Dunks was a big deal to us. Prior to the opening of this location, we were driving from Fort Riley to Topeka about once a month to satisfy our cravings. When this location first opened, as expected, it was a slow start. Our first couple of coffees were sent back to be remade, to which they always obliged with a smile and no argument (unlike a certain low grade coffee shop that flaunts a mermaid logo.. Stop dumping out my entire small cups worth of left over frappucino.. I don't care if it's extra, I paid for those ingredients so it is mine). Ahem, anyway. More than a month after the grand opening, they have got their employees on track. Super friendly, they never rush my indecisive kid about picking out a donut, and my coffee is always on point (medium iced, 5 caramel swirl and skim milk). Danielle (shift leader) is the most pleasant person I have met since we moved to Kansas and Chris (another shift leader) is great for a quick chat. Their manager Natalie greets us every time we come through the door- if I'm flying solo that day she makes it a point to ask about the kids. Half the employees know us by name and it really is like having a small piece of home. The hot food is always hot, the donuts are always fresh, the bathrooms are always clean (the mirror above the toilet in the ladies room really puzzles me but whatevs). I wish the dining area was more of a lounge, it becomes relatively crowded easily, but the traffic disappears as fast as it comes in. The floors get washed so often... They're always clean but also always slippery (maybe the mop just has too much water left on it and it's a kink that'll be worked out over time)... A pro and con in the same breath? Anywho, 5 stars all around here. We've been going since day one and they have done everything they can to step up their game and meet expectations. read more

GREAT General manager. Knows me by name.... Always friendly. But I witnessed how a woman, who I later found out was one of the owners was speaking with her staff. Belitteling, nit picking and putting down the workers in front of people in the store. It made the situation awkward and uncomfortable. I would say A+ for services and delicious donuts.....
