The service here was very quick and concise, it's towards the end of the day. So a lot of cleaning up but the staff is very nice. They have a real good drive thru, very fast but you still have to thoroughly explain what you want. Because sometimes they will not get your order correctly, but no matter what that does tend to happen at every dunks I'm Chelsea.

Well not today!!! Everything about this place was perfect. First, we were greeted by the most fabulous members of the team. They were charming and funny and they loved on my daughter's service dog. Second, they gave the greatest advice on the donut offerings and all of their advice was GOLD! I have to admit that I haven't sunk my teeth into allllll of the donuts we bought yet, but so far I can tell you that the sour cream glazed and peanut Snickers are amazing amazing amazing. BUT the apple fritter actually made me cry. It is so good that I cannot put it into words. Crispy outside and tender inside with the perfect balance of sweetness. I'm telling you, they need an award for this darn thing! Listen people, come to Dandee Donuts and soak in the staff's awesomeness, but make sure to listen to their wisdom on what they're selling. It's totally worth it.

The dough in these donuts is so fresh and so delicious! We tried the glazed lemon and jelly donuts,…read morethe cotton candy donuts and the key lime pie donuts. The breaded part of the donuts was so delicious and tasted like fried dough at the beach or a carnival. So good! The line was moving slowly, despite only two customers ahead of us, which kind of surprised us. There were three people behind the counter, so I'm not sure why it took so long, but we were patient and enjoyed the donuts very much! Not really any ambiance is present here because it is an order-based line and the space constraints keep them from offering any tables, but the aim here is efficiently getting people in and out. So this does the job. Great donuts! Highly recommend!

Not necessarily my favorite type, I prefer more cake type with some density but these were pretty good. I came late so the fritters were gone but he was able to pull together a bag of mixed smaller fritter pieces which I enjoyed. If this was an Apple fritter, they were missing the Apple? Still the sugar on the bottom and the wonderful cinnamon taste made me eat them all. The best donut left looked to be the jelly filled. Haven't enjoyed one of these in a while. Still as good as I remembered. The fancy donuts looked to be gluten free, they had a ton of them. Probably because nobody likes gluten free donuts... Kane's reminded me of a great local donut shop with a touch of class. If I was close by I'd grab them again but likely to seek out another shop in Boston to compare next time I'm back.

Absolutely amazing…read more The line is LONG no matter when you go but 100% worth it. Inside is all covered in their amazing creations, no seating inside. Service was very quick, we were in and out in about 20-30mins despite the like being down the block. I prefer this cannoli over Mike's for sure. I still need to try Modern.

Over two visits (the first time I came by myself and the second time, my husband wanted to come), I ended up purchasing: Original Cannoli, Large Lobster Tail, Pistachio Cannoli, Boston Cream Donut, Tiramisu. To be honest the cannolis here are not good. Because they are prefilled, the shell becomes soggy, which is rather disappointing. Cannolis are best filled right before eating but I can understand why Bova's Bakery fills them ahead of time.... to cut down on the time waiting and making it easier for customers to get in and out. The lobster tail was okay but I didn't find it to be anything really special. I felt the same way about the Boston cream donut. Of the things that we purchased, I liked the tiramisu the best. Please note that they do take credit card but you are charged a small credit card fee, which was not disclosed to me when I paid. I just noticed the charge on the receipt the first time I came and then paid cash on the second visit. Service was friendly from both employees helping me on both visits. With the exception of an elderly woman who seemed rude. I think she may have been the owner or family. I don't know if Bova's Bakery is worth the hype... If I was to come back, it would just be for the tiramisu.

But since we had to pass Union Square Donuts to get back to her car, you already know how that went. And to make matters worse, she'd heard their donuts were good. So boom, here we go! First off, Union Square D. has a nice little sit-down area where you can kick back and enjoy your donuts. They also have some of their merchandise, like hats and stuff if you want to rep the place. And of course, the real stars of the show, donuts! The overhead menu is simple, breaking down the donuts into yeast donuts, cake too and even a gluten-free option(?). My kid and I of course went with a yeast donut. Babyyyy, the texture was on point! Soft, pillowy, moist and downright tasty. But, the strawberry 'glaze' these folks use was a powdered mess. Instead of a nice, smooth glaze, it was giving chalky, dusty and powdery. Every bite had that stuff falling all over me and honestly, I wasn't enjoying it. Other than that little powdered situation, the donut was solid.

First of all, the pastry case just beautifully displays all the baked goods. It's quite a sight to see! I love the variety and flavors, very unique. If you know what you want, gotta get in line and grab it quick! If you wanna put in your own order, you can use the kiosk, which is really fun to use. I ordered a chai with oat milk (it's very light in flavor) and got a bialy. Honestly I had not had a bialy in over 25+ years... and was surprised to see it in the case and I had to have it. A corn + cheddar bialy. It did NOT disappoint. I also got london fog with oat milk previously, also very nice, but this place was soooo good we had to come back. My daughter loves pop tarts so when she saw it in the case, she got a blueberry pop tart and said it was very flakey and the jam was very jamful. It was the-last-one, even had the sign stuck in it!! She also got the french toast (2 slices) with kid's milk and said it was the best french toast she's ever had. My sis got a chocolate pain suisse, which I had never seen before. It's basically brioche filled with pastry cream and chocolate. It looked delicious and with coffee, my sis ate the whole thing up. All in all, this place has so much delicious eats.. I can understand if you live here, you could come every morning and still not get to everything in the pastry case! Definitely be back if we're in the Boston area again.
