At all hours of the day you'll get moist cake donuts with crispy outsides. At most but not all hours you'll get mostly moist (albeit still not as lightly fluffy as would be an ideal donut yet to be found in Cleveland) yeast donuts too. The old fashioned donuts are extra well prepared. Most of the time the snickerdoodle and chocolate chip cookies are soft and flavorful too. Not expensive either like Jack Frost or BigMouth. Don't take a gamble and make the drive to Strongsville for good donuts here at Donut Scene! Trust me- I've tried them all.

My Mom loved their freshed baked Vienna white bread, as she would buy a loaf once or twice a week. She would also buy a dozen donuts, especially when compa y came over. I used to ride my bicycle up close to their store front window and they had a real pretty lady working their named Pauline. If i saw her there i used to wink at her, as i road by the window. (I was only 9 or 1o at the time). Every now and then she would wave me in and give me a free donut. So i have very fond memories of growing up with Becker's Donut shop right around the corner on Miles Ave, near East 138st. My favorite donuts were the cream filled ones. Yummy!
