Staff doesn't know what kind of donut is what. We used the drive-thru on a Thursday morning early. We asked for a maple bar and a chocolate old-fashioned. We drove off quickly because it was our second day on the road and we still had 400 miles to go. How disappointing it was to discover that we were sold a chocolate glazed (raised) donut instead of an old-fashioned. Just to be clear, I HATE glazed donuts and never eat them. So two for my husband and none for me. Additionally, the donuts were carelessly placed in the bag without proper separation which resulted in the top donut gluing itself to the bottom one. I only thought Dunkin offered doughnuts and coffee. My times have changed. Who doesn't like an occasional doughnut? But when I tried the avocado toast for the first time I was blown away. Yum! Avocado, sea salt, black pepper, and lemon juice is spread out edge-to-edge on Dunkin's authentic toasted Sourdough Bread. Okay. They got me. This was a find. Not sure how long this has been on the menu but I'll be back for this rather healthy breakfast option. I only wish I could have grabbed a picture but it was gone before I could take one. Terrible customer service. The 2 women working were extremely rude. This location is connected to a Baskin Robins. No help when we walked in. Just ignored us and then acted like we knew where to stand to order. Typically you order ice cream in front of the counter. Some people have to Professionalism or class. read more

I drove specifically to Dunkin to buy 4 gift cards for my grandkids. After I unloaded myself and a 6 year old, I get to the door to find it locked. No notice on the door to explain why at 2:00 p.m that the lobby was closed. As a disabled person, getting in and out of vehicles can be painful. So as I finish up this review my 6 yo charge informed me that the other door furthest from the handicap parking spots, was unlocked. Had there been a note, such as, please use the other door I wouldn't have even gotten out of the vehicle. No excuses for incompetence. read more

Passing through with our truck and trailer. Our daughter wanted donuts and my husband wanted food. They have both here! Very clean inside and quick service. We ordered quite a bit (receipt in photos to show the prices) my husband enjoyed the bacon, egg and cheese bagel. He was pleasantly surprised by the taste based on how it looked. Went here this past weekend and as usual I always check reviews 1st, saw the positive reviews and proceeded to go in and spend some money buuuuuut this staff was absolutely horrible, I was 1 of 4 individuals in the store that morning and I was also 1 of 4 individuals who walked out shaking my head in disbelief, the way one of the staff members snapped at an older gentleman was terrible....my wife and I got our drinks and donut holes and went to the car, when I saw the disgust in my wife's eyes I took our drinks back in for a refund, along with the bad service our blended coffee drinks tasted like someone deliberately made them to be "nasty". read more

First of all I never YELP anything but this one just bugged me. We arrived at approx 10:30 AM Wednesday Aug 18, 2021 to the Barstow location. Kaylie was at the counter, another female was visible in the back. Kaylie takes our order and while we are waiting in the lobby she locks the front door telling a family of five potential customers that the shop is now closed (drive through is still open) because she is the only person on staff now. They were towing a motorhome and parked clear across the parking lot in the dirt field just like us, the drive through wouldn't have worked for them. Meanwhile a young man a women pull up on a motorcycle and get turned away as well. They tell us they phoned in a complaint. That's seven customers in less then three minutes. We escape the counter area and I take the order out to the truck thats hitched to the boat where my family awaits. We discover that the order is incorrect on several levels. We walk all the way back and knock on the door, Kaylie looks right at us through the window and turns the corner into the back room (gone for several minutes) so we go to the drive up window catch her eye and get the same brushoff. Keep in mind she handed us our order only a few minutes before we returned and interacted with no other customers after us. Finally I get her to understand that she got our order wrong, at which point we receive a disgusted sigh of disbelief and she finally conjures up half of what was originally wrong with our order in the first place. I figured it was best to just cut our losses and leave. A $35.68 purchase for four breakfast sandwiches a donut and a couple of drinks (no real bargain) and all that incompetence for free. Remember, Kaylie needs retraining or perhaps just new hire training and staffing could maybe be cranked up a little because customers are in fact being turned away at the door. My 1st negative review. I commute to Barstow for work and only recently learned there's a Dunkin Donuts there. I started going there about once a week in an attempt to give them my support versus the 2 Starbucks up the road that would still do just fine without my business. Went inside because the drive thru was full. Ordered a hot tea and egg wrap. By this time, the drive thru had emptied out. As I was waiting for my order to be filled, other cars were pulling into the drive thru, and placing their orders. I stood there and watched orders that were placed after mine go in and come out of the ovens. I politely asked the status of my order to only be met will rude mumbling and no eye contact as she passed by me. After about 10 more minutes of waiting for my order to be filled, I finally just grabbed my tea that had been sitting on the counter the entire time and walked out because I didn't want to be late for work. Shout out to Rosa for the GREAT customer service. Ordered an oatmeal to which she said with an attitude that they didn't have oatmeal at dunkin (I've ordered this at other locations but fine). After my friend orders their food to get the key to the restroom I order my food, and was waiting for the restroom. Another woman walks in and goes straight to the employee only restroom. Both restrooms have signs that say for paying customers only. After the woman leaves, I go to use the restroom to where Rosa calls out to me, " SIR that's for employees." After using the restroom I see she's giving out orders for people who weren't there before me. I'm waiting for my item while she's handing other people their multiple item orders and turns away from to prep coffee. I walk over to the table to ask her if my one item is ready and notice it's on the table while her back is to me as I'm saying excuse me; so I can get her name. Dine in is closed a lot. I don't know if it's because of covid, lack of staff, or what. Very limited donut options via drive-thru, and you have to play a game of 20 questions to know what is available. Positives: ice cream lady was friendly. Negatives: Donut lady was impatient. We were her only customers the whole time we were there. She kept hammering us with "How many do you want?". We thought it might settle her down to tell her we haven't been there before and would like to look around a little before we commit. I got the idea customers are supposed to know exactly what they want when they walk in and immediately adjust what they want when they discover most of what the would have chosen is out of stock--because the most important thing in an empty store is, of course, that the worker can immediately fulfill the order her way and getcha outta there. We asked about the coffee/donut deal and got no answer, presumably because we had to commit a donut quantity before life could go on. So two of us walked back to check deal posted on the door and answer our own question. This must have really ticked off the employee, because behind us we heard one in our party nervously suggesting a few donuts she was interested in. We decided coffee would prolong an increasingly negative experience and abandoned that idea. The lady bagged our nervous friend's donuts and we understood that the lady cannot pick up any donut until she knows if it goes in a bag or box or what size box. Aha. I said "I think we're going to end up with half a dozen". So she got out a box and we picked out the remaining four donuts and prepared to pay for 6. Nuh uh. She said, "Two more". So we followed orders thinking maybe she got behind pulling them and needed two repeated? We couldn't see what was in the box. She charged us for 6 and told the first party "YOURS are free". Huh? We walked out in stunned and confused silence. On reflection we decided she finds a way to punish those who don't meet her expectations and rewards those who submit to pressure. It ended up the sour cream donuts were good, but the yeast were old. The cream-filled was so bad the pastry part actually crumbled when I bit in and had to be trashed under suspicion it was left out somewhere it shouldn't have been for more than a few days. If you are emotionally prepared for the pressure and can handle random hard donuts, go ahead and try the Lenwood Dunkin Donuts. read more

This new Dunkin' Donuts location opened up across from the gas station we usually stop at when we go through Barstow. Great location, We usually have to drive over to Starbucks, this is more convenient. they have fabulous coffee (sorry Starbucks) and it's not only a Dunkin' Donuts it's Baskin-Robbins too bonus! Visited this location late last night. The inside and drive-thru was empty, and I was the only vehicle there. I saw one employee. He was the one who took the drive-thru order. It took unusually long for them to return to the window with the order, which seemed weird and suspicious, since we were unable to see any employees, preparing the order. After a while of waiting, two ladies returned to the window with the order. Their actions were weird, which should have been my cue to just ask for a refund. I didn't want to overthink the situation, so I prayed over the food and left. About 30 minutes, post consumption, my husband became sick to his stomach and I had to pull over several times, to allow him to vomit. During the middle of the night he complained of body aching, heartburn, etc. As for me, my stomach was bothering me as well, but perhaps mine wasn't as bad because I did not eat the entire sandwich. I might be taking him to emergency if he does not start to feel better soon. I suspect that we were food poisoned as a result of old products, products not properly stored and prepared, or evil employees who maliciously did something to the food. Not one of them acknowledged my arrival, instead one employee jokingly said "oh, I guess we're open.."
