While I was there, I noticed they have showers and you can pay for it and wait for your number to be called to take a shower. Also, they have both Coke and Pepsi products at the soda dispenser station. Wanted a sweet treat and got one Cinnabon in a box. Katima (?) helped me out and she was very pleasant and even suggested warming up my Cinnabon at the microwave they have available for use, at the Travel Center. If you're staying at one of the many hotels off Lenwood or stopping through, I highly suggest getting a snack, drink or shower here. There's no CVS or Target in these parts and this is the closest thing to it.

They offer hot drip coffee or freshly ground espresso coffee from an automated machine. I had the drip and it was very good. We also picked up some waters, and my friend purchased a Dr. Pepper fountain drink and he said it was very good. The inside of the convenience store is well stocked with your usual drinks, chips, candies, cookies that are well arranged. Restrooms are clean as well, with solid stall doors. Of note, one stall did smell urea (ick! Pass! No thanks, used the next stall). No paper towels though, I don't care for the hand driers. I really liked the self service/checkout option because I got stuck behind a group of people (6 of them who were buying different things & one person paying) It's annoying but I opted to use the self checkout to bypass that mess. On virtually every visit multiple pumps are out of service or the pump will not process a card or a screen is cracked making the pump unusable. Today there were 3 pumps that were cordoned off, 1 with a broken screen and then the one I used which would not get past the card processing stage. When I went inside and asked why the pump wasn't working the cashier said "it just broke right now...today...." Imagine the timing that it just broke right now. Then when I said that every time I go there so many of their pumps weren't working she said "well don't come here no more..." So, syntax aside....I will be using the other stations nearby. Last week Semaj hooked us up with some freshly fried gizzards. They were a little on the salty side but Semaj was so sweet and so cool that didn't stop me from enjoying them. This was my friends first time trying gizzards and she's hooked too. Barstow is too far to just make a gizzard run but this Love's is definitely going to be my regular stop to and from my Vegas runs.
