I wondered in here one day and didn't realize this was a truck stop because there was a Denny's on…read morethe side of it and I just thought it was a Denny's. Turns out the Denny's is connected to the truck stop. Flying J has everything or almost everything you're looking for if you're a traveler. I came back at night and wanted to peruse the snack aisles. While I was there, I noticed they have showers and you can pay for it and wait for your number to be called to take a shower. Also, they have both Coke and Pepsi products at the soda dispenser station. Wanted a sweet treat and got one Cinnabon in a box. Katima (?) helped me out and she was very pleasant and even suggested warming up my Cinnabon at the microwave they have available for use, at the Travel Center. If you're staying at one of the many hotels off Lenwood or stopping through, I highly suggest getting a snack, drink or shower here. There's no CVS or Target in these parts and this is the closest thing to it.

The inside of the convenience store is well stocked with your usual drinks, chips, candies, cookies that are well arranged. Restrooms are clean as well, with solid stall doors. Of note, one stall did smell urea (ick! Pass! No thanks, used the next stall). No paper towels though, I don't care for the hand driers. I really liked the self service/checkout option because I got stuck behind a group of people (6 of them who were buying different things & one person paying) It's annoying but I opted to use the self checkout to bypass that mess. Overall a good experience. Got a chance to stretch out.

There's always one or two Hanging out on the side of the building and more in the back. Plus all of the people going pump to pump asking for money. And it's the same people! Because of this I have taken my business to terrible's across the freeway.

They offer hot drip coffee or freshly ground espresso coffee from an automated machine. I had the drip and it was very good. We also picked up some waters, and my friend purchased a Dr. Pepper fountain drink and he said it was very good. In addition to the hot pre-made food, there's also a mini subway, a game room, and showers. The customer service was very friendly. They were in good spirits.

It's definitely like somebody urinated on the floors and they didn't clean them up. It's been slowly getting worse each time we stop in. We love the place but it's starting to smell so much so it we're gonna be able to keep stopping in there as just doesn't smell good. they just need to bleach it and use some of these urine out cleaners it will be so much better
