With every $20.00 spent, you can get a punch and after a certain amount you can receive money off your next purchase! Seriously!! Awesome! Plus!! There is such a wide selection of clothing, styles and SIZES! For this being a small boutique shop... I'm shocked at how well they keep many styles stocked! One week there were over 40 new outfits! Also, Im amazed that they will always be willing to reserve clothing for those who ask for certain items to be held! Aisles are wide, which is helpful if you have a physical disability. They carry a few shoe options but it would be great if they carried more. Additionally, more clothing options for adult women would be helpful, too, as they seem to cater to the "junior" crowd. Additionally, higher-end clothing for plus size would awesome. The store is bright, well maintained and set up nicely.

Upon waling in through the front door you will either be delighted or intimidated at the decor and style, but do no fret this place is awesome. From 1920's post cards ($1.00 collectors items) to moccasins to Motorcycle Jackets, this place has it all. I stopped in on this particular occasion to look for a new pair of biker boots, I have looked around and I was either unhappy with either the style or prices I found else where then I laid my eyes on some traditional style Milwaukee lace up boots (not those plastic buckle sort of things that look like roller blades) with a nice modern touch dual zippers on the side so you lace them the way you like tie a good knot and you never have to lace them again! Thankfully they take credit cards becasue I was not planning on making a purchase but at $105.00 who could pass this up. The owner is good old guy who checks up on you but does not follow you around and keeps good conversation short. The place hardly changed (except for a new biker bar annexed to it), and is a welcome sight whenever we visit town, with its familiar storefront and vintage Western style sign. It promises unique treasures inside, and it delivers! The eclectic mix of merchandise includes biker/Native American/fantasy themed tchotchkes. They also sell Minnetonka and Red Wing boots. I saw a whole wall of guns and bullets. My prize finds are vintage Starved Rock postcards and some new old stock glass seed bead bracelets. Prices are inexpensive to moderate. I hope they stay in business for many, many more years!

AVOID SHOPPING HERE!…read more I am very mindful of how I treat people who work at grocery and convenience stores because I know they have a difficult job. They're putting their health and safety at risk as much as other first responders but without the recognition or appreciation other high profile professions get. Many of them are our kids, our older relatives who do this to get out of the house a couple of days a week. I have great respect for them. That being said, this store is AWFUL! I no longer give them my money. The majority of the staff is rude and poorly trained. The store is often dirty, the produce is dirty and old, there are always piles of boxes and packing materials in the aisles but no one shelving merch. I have had to hunt down a cashier on several occasions because two of them would be standing in an aisle gossiping with each other and no one is at the register. And forget finding a manager, she's never anywhere to be found. She's either "not in" or "in the back" paying no attention to the store conditions, the customers, or the staff. For a short period of time there was male manager (or assistant manager) that seemed to be cleaning the place up but he's long gone. the new woman managing (or assistant managing) appears to be operating a kind of mean girls club that seems to get satisfaction from trash talking other customers and staff they don't like. I agree with Amanda Rose H, years ago the staff were everyday helpful, friendly, polite people. Now they're aggressive, rude, and confrontational. The environment in this store is so toxic that, even though this store is around the block from my home, I will go out of my way to stop anywhere but here for my milk and bread. Without going into detail I've told my adult sons especially to stay away from there. Just not a good place for them to be!

That all changed this weekend when my wife and I left with a few hundred bucks of new leather. The service from the owners was FAN-TAS-TIC. We were eagerly shown new styles, fitted into some great gear and even had a bit tailoring and button moving on the leather we bought. It's great to see real service is alive and well at Stonehead.

I like how they don't tell you that it's for an insurance plan that you didn't ask to be signed up for and for their time. That's fine if I would agree to that but I didn't agree to that and I like how they just make it a blanket statement.
