We were assured that there would be no out-of-pocket expense several times from this company. They ended up invoicing us for $475, which we grudgingly paid. We thought that the dealings we had with Edd Rike was over, when we got a phone call for another bill for $4000. Threats were made to put a lien on our home, even though it was not our bill to pay. Further inspection, the city of Englewood stated that they had mailed the payment sometime ago and I should not be liable for it. What kind of company receives payment and then turns around and tries to bill you with threats of putting liens on your home? Like I said run don't walk...

Within 10 minutes one of the Line bosses came out and said he was sending his most experienced worker Ron. Ron came within 30 minutes and he was very experienced craftsman and drilled the line out to the street. He found a large route in my line he removed water is now running from my drain to the street drain as it should be. I highly recommend Ron and Roto Rooter. He did an excellent job and I was very impressed.

Had them come out to quote us replacing 3 water valves under our kitchen sink, a water valve in our…read morebathroom and replacing a toilet in the bathroom. The guy that came out said it would take him about 15 minutes apiece to do each of the valves under the sink and the one in the bathroom. Quote for the 4 valves including parts and labor was $1,386. Even if it took an hour a piece at $150 an hour plus $100 on parts that would only be $700 total. So essentially double any number I can possibly come up with. Then he quoted installing a toilet for $1,566. I can go buy a top of the line toilet at Lowes or Home Depot for $250 - so I figure with their discount and then markup it would be $250 or at most $300 from them - plus labor - which I am sure they can install a toilet in less than an hour - but If I figure 2 hours at $150 an hour the most I could possibly come up with is $600. So the quote again is over 2 1/2 times any reasonable price I can come up with. I am wondering if they thought we were old and the guy thought he could take advantage of old people that cant do work themselves and aren't with it enough to realize they are being taken advantage? But i think you will agree those quoted prices are beyond ridiculous. On top of that they charged $100 to come out and give us this ridiculous quote. So we are out $100 but my business is going elsewhere. I don't usually write reviews but felt I need to to warn people of their pricing scheme and beware that their prices are absolutely ridiculous and don't waste your time or money getting a quote from them. Will cost you $100 just for them to give you a price that is double or more than what anything reaso able would be. Notice you can't leave a review on their website - they show the select ones they want you to see - but you can't leave one. So they only pick the ones they want to show.
