I didn't go with the replacement option because of the high labor cost and just had the fill valve, flapper and supply line replaced new. When I talked to the owner he immediately got angry called me a liar and one of the 100s of money grubbing homeowners trying to get money back. He refused to listen and understand the issue and irrationally made assumptions about me. After 15-20 minutes of him calling me a liar I finally got him to understand that I was right the whole time, that I didn't lie, and that the work was performed incorrectly both times. As the customer I had to calm him down which is unprofessional and backwards. He did send someone out a third time after he realized he was wrong. He did apologize but the damage was done. This guy does not respect his customers. By the way I never once asked for money or any type of refund, just wanted them to meet the rational expectations of the scope of work. Save yourself some aggravation and find someone who treats their customers better than this guy.
