Used them for Roof Replacement and bathroom remodel. Expert staff completed both jobs. The office staff is incredibly helpful and great with continued communication throughout the projects. Will definitely use them again if I need them! read more

I would like to thank the crew from True Builder. Not only were they professional & knowledgeable but was always here when they said they would, they explained what the plan was & carried it out. My planner David & coordinator Erica, after I made selection for new cabinets. They put the different teams in motion, Redd & Randle were the mitigation, Leo & Oli were the installers, Plumbing was done by Chris & Charles. we also had dry wall & painting done. When the teams would over lap each other they all worked well together. There was some ups & downs but we worked threw them . I would (& have recommend)use them again if needed. My elevated deck needed to be torn down and rebuilt. True Builders subcontracted the job to Pro Builders AMG LLC who were under the guidance of Project Mgr Mike with True Builders. The workmanship on the deck is the worse I've ever seen of any contractors and the flaws are noticed by everyone who visits me. The deck & my new doors failed inspection many times. They buried concrete in my front yard, which they denied, and I had a difficult time getting the concrete removed along with the form boards from around the concrete poured around the supports. They burned up my garage door motor & they put screws through my doorbell wiring & caused a fire hazard. I had to pay someone to disable & remove the live wires. My stair railing is not straight, many split boards due to putting screws in the wood incorrectly. The project mgr was disrespectful to me & my neighbor. The owner apologized for him but I've yet to get an apology from him directly. Everyday I'm reminded of the unprofessional job they did when I go out on my deck and I relive the months of dealing with their staff who did not want to be bothered with talking to me. I had to get family members involved as I felt dismissed when I asked questions. I only wanted the job done right. This company failed in so many areas I will never use them again. read more

Red & Charles did an amazing job or surveying damage in our home, explaining all that will entail restoration, as well as meeting with insurance adjusters. Thank you so very much! read more

This is the second time I have had an emergent need for repairs. Both times I have had consistent, quality, friendly, economically feasible service from True Builders and True Plumbers. I actually had True Roofers come and do my roof inbetween the other repairs. I can't say enough about their communication, not only with me, but with each division internally. Absolutely would recommend them! Aaron Bradley is an excellent example of someone being "service oriented". Thank you all! I appreciate you. read more

UNPROFESSIONAL after they are paid in full. Do not let this company start a project and not finish and reschedule and pay them in full at the same time. You won't hear from them until you track them down a month later. They show up an hour late or not at all. New paying customers is there only concern. Go with any other company and save yourself the hassle! read more

These people are crooks! It's all shiny and bright until you look under the surface. No one keeps their story straight. We have a 1900 sq ft house ( for perspective), Our master shower had a leaky shower pan, they wanted over $13,000 total to repair master shower. They were looking to rob our insurance company for things we didn't even ask for or want on top of wanting over $3000 from us. Never got the same story twice, no one ever took accountability for mistakes. They even had the audacity to blame my husband and I for lack of communication !!! Even if that were true, would you say that to a paying client?? I wouldn't. 3 months after we started communication, we still had no progress in our bathroom. Needless to stay, we severed our relationship with them, hired a much more reliable and honest company. Do yourself a favor and keep away from these guys! read more

High quality work and very respectable Leaders and owners in the company. serves the community well and does a lot outside of just work.

So far great. Our project has different stages, so I'll review them separately as we complete each one. Repair and mold remediation is Done. No complaints here. Chad and Danny, these guys are God sent! They are amazing and go above and beyond. Thank you!! I am happy we got y'all. Oh, also Paul and Michael. They all listen and clarify all and any concerns for us. I will update as other stages take place and get completed. But I DO RECOMMEND THEM! read more

First let me say I never write reviews, but this company i deserves to have a review written warning the public. Second - the one review they have now is from Candice C. AKA Candice Clark, Office Manager. Third this company does has a few really good employees. Chris and Dan were excellent, honest, hardworking, loyal, wonderful customer service. They treated my mother with the respect that she deserved. However, the two owners are a whole different story. They lied, they never showed up on time, they missed appointments, they over charged, they try to encourage their employees to do the same. They try to sell you more than you need or even want. Threy were all over her until the deposit was paid, then it was like pulling teeth to get them out there to start the work DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING they give you. The girl in the office who I assume handles their collections, is the most horrid individual I have ever had the displeasure of speaking too.She was rude, loud and unprofessional and the way she spoke to my mother was beyond forgivable. This company is the worst of any service I have ever had the pleasure of working with. read more

The worst service, rude, expensive, didn't finish the job. Yes they are available 24 hours but when they service they open a service ticket for every single detail. They fix and don't finish. Repaired a leak but didn't put back the faucet. $500+ for 3 hours. No thank you. Calling someone else to finish their job. read more

I have been in the real estate/ property management business going on 14 years. True builders is the company we call when there is a disaster. Mark and Isaac have helped us with home fires, major water damage too even crime seen clean up. They work 24/7 and help to navigate the complicated insurance claim process. You need someone in your corner who doesn't work for the insurance company so you don't get short changed. They are the best! read more

On October 7, 2016 Hurricane Matthew skirted the Florida coastline and impacted our neighborhood. There was wind damage and flooding to our home. The salt water flooded our crawl space and sub-floor. Several days after the storm we were approached by Scott from True Builders. He was professional and courteous in explaining how True Builders could help us. They came to our area to help with the storm relief. We made an agreement and Scott and his crew immediately went to work removing floor insulation and drying out the house. Additionally, True Builders worked with our adjuster to ensure a fair and timely insurance settlement. True Builders provided us with exceptional service when we needed it the most. We can confidently recommend True Builders as a solid and reliable contractor. Jon and Kathy Kronillis read more

Excellent work by Bryan. Did the job quickly and efficiently. Very reasonable cost. Very satisfied.

Awesome company! They have done water restoration at our house twice in the last 2 years. Professional, kind, and does amazing work. They work with you and your insurance company and get everything handled. Chris was the man and over saw the entire project and was there for any questions we had from start to finish. Thanks chris and team!! read more

Although I love how fast they responded and the plumber that showed up seemed professional, the price I was charged was horrible. I was told there would be a $50 fee for the plumber to show up and run a camera through the lines (my plumbing was backed up). After this they would determine what the problem was and what steps would be needed and that if I gave the ok for them to work on it they would waive the $50 fee. The plumber got here and asked what was going on so I explained what happened and what steps I had already taken. He said ok and that it sounded like my septic tank was full. He then said he could open and inspect the tank to see what was going on but that it was going to be $189. I was hesitant, but figured a tank inspection couldn't hurt. A) he never once ran the camera down the line and B) his "inspection" was to drill a hole in the top of the cement cover and say "Yep, see, there's solids at the top. You need to have it pumped" He also told me I would save money with the pumping people because he found/uncovered the tank for me, yet when I started calling around I couldn't find ONE company that charges for finding/uncovering the tank. I even had one woman tell me that it's been a long time since they've charged for that. I wish I would have just trusted my gut and told him no, to run the camera down the line, see the condition of the main drain pipe and if the tank was full and then had it pumped. Chalk it up to a life lesson I guess. read more

I hired them to repair leak damage in my house. The crew was professional and very friendly. Everything was on time. The reason for the two star review is that a little over a year later my sink detached from the countertop. I called and they said they only warranty their work for a year. The also said they no longer used the company they hired for the cabinet work. I had to call someone else to come fix it. The repair man told me it wasn't attached correctly in the first place. I believe a job should be done right the first time and if its not a company should stand behind its workmanship. The sink was only attached with adhesive, nothing else. True builders is not the cheapest option, I would have saved money by hiring myself, but they saved me time. The second problem is the flooring they did is now coming up and we are by no means hard on it. It has been only two years and I feel like these things should not be happening if the workmanship was quality. In retrospect I would have gone with another company. read more

I hired True Builder to come out and fix my kitchen, cabinets and flooring after a major water leak. They were the best contractors I could have ever asked for. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. This is my first review and I'm sad to say it has to be a negative one. Our dealings with Truce Builders has truly been a nightmare during the re plumbing of our house. Requests for quotes never submitted after repeat requests, written estimates way over the going rate and manipulating the insurance company are truly their priorities. After 10 weeks of playing games STILL no resolution with these people. read more

Don't hire this company. They did not do things they charged for and like to sue homeowners and insurance companies. Stay away!!!

Called True Plumbers for service on a Sunday and was told I would not be charged for after hours weekend pricing. The plumber came in a timely manner and diagnosed the problem as a bad wax toilet ring on my toilet(wax toilet ring costs approx. $10). I agreed to have True Plumbers fix the problem and when I got my bill it was $265 and I was more than surprised. When I asked the plumber about it he told me that is weekend after hours pricing. I told him that I spoke with a rep and he told me I would not be charge after hours weekend rates. The plumber told me that was what he was told to charge. I the called the rep and he explained that I was not being charged weekend rates for the assessment but the job was emergency pricing. After arguing my point for awhile I ended up paying the $265 even though it was opposite of what he originally told me. At least the problem was fixed and I would not have to worry about the leak. After two days the leak reappeared so this writer called True Plumbers and I told them either the plumber fixed the toilet wrong or misdiagnosed the problem. True Plumbers sent someone out the next morning and they found the real problem which was that there was a leaky drain pipe from the kitchen sink. The plumber then told me that I needed to call my insurance company because they would need to rip the vanity out cut a hole in the wall, rip the flooring up and have a company come in to get rid of the mold. I stated that I wanted my money back from the last job and the plumber said he could not do that but would take some money off the new problem. I then asked the plumber what is would cost to just fix the problem and let me worry about the rest. He said that I would have to take the vanity out and cut a hole in the wall myself and then replace it all after he fixed the pipe and it would cost me approx. $300. I then checked with my insurance company and discovered it would not be beneficial financially. I decided to do the job myself and the parts cost me under $50 and I fixed the problem in a day. I then called True Plumbers and asked for my money back and they stated that they would have somebody contact me. I was never called so I continued to call several times and told them I would write a bad review and I never received compensation. The initial service was 4/12/15 and I believe I have given True Plumbers sufficient time to make this right. I would not use or recommend True Plumbers to anyone. I feel bad for all the victims that were scared into spending all the money and having the unnecessary work done just so True Plumbers could collect the insurance money. read more
