It's on the smaller side and the store is at the end of a plaza so you'd think it would be like another one of those average Chinese chains that you go to for convenience, but nope! My favorite dish is the pork soup dumplings, but everything is yummy. Plus, everyone is very attentive. Bow down before the Dumpling King! I came in here after a weekend trip to Miami and was not disappointed. The general tso chicken was very flavorful not over fried, well prepared. First things first, the outside of this place looks very unassuming. That being said, once you get inside the place is great. Not too much seating or space but I've never had to wait in a line at this place. It is sort of a hidden gem which I appreciate! Now for the service, the workers were very attentive and respectful, so full marks for that. For the best part, the food, it was pretty awesome because you get good portion sizes for the price, I think it was a great deal, especially comparing to other places in Miami. Tucked away in an unassuming shopping center a little off the beaten path in North Miami is some of the best dumplings in town!! My favorite are the pork steamed dumplings. Went here after spending the day at Haulover based off of a friend's recommendation. The place is a bit small, but they were continuously shuttling people in and out, which only speaks to how amazing the food is. We were absolutely shocked at how large the dumplings were and how many we got. HUGE portions. The soup dumplings were phenomenal and are now going to be my good to sick food. The kimchi dumplings were definitely my favorite but a little too spicy for my partner, so be warned! They have a nice little kick. 10/10 would recommend and definitely go there again. This has become one of my new favorite restaurants, you can't beat the taste and the value that you get from this establishment. Ever since I moved close to this neighborhood, I've been seeing dumpling King pop up on my feed. I'm more of a General Tao's and lo mein girl, not that I have anything against dumplings it's just not my go-to. That being said it took me a while to actually visit the establishment. The first time I went I got there honey chicken, which was okay but I'm not mad at that because it is not one of the dishes they're known for. A while later I returned and actually got some dumplings and I'm very glad I did. I got the chive, pork and shrimp steam dumplings; very good flavor and great chew on the dumpling wrapper (you have to ask for chili oil). I also tried the green onion pancake which was not the best I have had but was nice. And on my last visit I tried the fried chicken wings which were noticeably fresh. They also have boba, I'm not a big boba of person but every once in a while I do crave it. Their boba goes for about $5 which is an incredible deal, but keep in mind they do not have the popping boba. I really appreciate the fact that they have a varied menu but it is not at all overwhelming. The establishment itself is pretty simple, the few times I've walked in there for takeout I've had no desire to sit in for a meal. I have definitely turned into a repeat customer and I would recommend this establishment to anyone who simply likes food. read more

Stopped by on a Friday evening with my family; it was busy inside with every table filled, so we waited around 15 minutes before getting seated. We only ordered a few different things off the menu since we weren't too hungry - egg drop soup, fried pork dumplings, 4 pc fried chicken, steamed soup dumplings, and sour/spicy noodles. The dumplings were tasty and the fried dumplings were huge - a great portion size. The egg drop soup was a bit too salty, but was a decent portion size for the cost. Soup dumplings were steamed well, but was lacking a little in the soup inside. Fried chicken was hot and juicy. The food was a bit pricey, but for the size of what you get I'd say it's pretty worth it! The restaurant is pretty small, so there was about a 15 - 20 minute wait for my party of two. Meanwhile, they had continuous customers entering to pick up to go orders. Their soup dumplings are a MUST; usually these are super hard to come by! The portion sizes are also huge for the price; a plate of dumplings could easily fill you up, even though it might be considered as an appetizer. This is a casual restaurant. The menus both in Chinese and English. It's a serves some traditional Asian dishes. I ordered the chicken and pork fried rice. It came with eggs. I was so happy see eggs. I know the maximum of the Yelp star scale is 5 but I'm gonna be a rebel and give it a 10 out of 10. Why have I been sleeping on this hidden gem for so long?? I pass this place way too many times but better late than never. The menu has so many great options but since I was rolling solo I opted for the hot and sour soup, chive, pork, and shrimp friend dumplings and a passion green boba tea to wash it down. The tea is sweet but not overwhelming to where you'd need to water it down. To me, it is just right. Good hot and sour soup is hard to find but this exceeded all expectations. It comes out piping hot so I waited to indulge. Every spoonful has the perfect kick of spice and I think it's a good starter if you aren't that hungry because it's very filling. I will definitely be ordering that again. Fair warning, the dumplings are GINORMOUS!!! I was so shocked when she brought the plate to me that I said "what!" out loud and a few people chuckled. These are definitely sharing portions or to take to the rest to go. I even asked if they had a half portion and they said no. The flavor of the chive pork and shrimp is great and you can tell they're making them fresh. The top part of the dumpling dough melts in your mouth but my favorite is the crispy bottom. Ah it's so delicious! Although I was able to get seated right away, I do like that you can opt to wait in line on Yelp just in case the seating is full. I had their popular xiao long baos and I hate to say it, it was not that good.. I might have gotten a bad batch but they just weren't that good. Scallion pancakes were delicious. The cold noodles - were also okay. It did take a bit for the food to come out. I ordered a boba tea to-go and it's like, a simple drink to make and it took them awhile.. I'm not sure if it's because they were backed up from take out orders but inside dining was not that busy. Good, well-priced food served by nice people. Miami's not exactly flush with great Asian food options, so dumpling king was a pleasant surprise for this west coast gal. The small space meant a long wait. We got there at 8 on a Friday and waited 40 min. They navigate the line efficiently though and use the yelp wait-list, so you can track your progress online. Once we were seated, they were responsive and helpful. Food highlights include the lovely brown sugar boba and the delicious fried vegetable dumplings. I would get steamed next time but they were good this way too. Based on the affordability and quality, I would totally come back here. OMG what an incredible disappointment! We stumbled on this place on our way back from an event at the Hardrock Stadium and after checking the review and seeing the live making of the dumplings we went for it. We pretty much ordered everything on the menu - several dumplings, soup dumplings, the beef noodles and a few other things. In a nutshell we pretty much tossed it all - greasy, the dumplings were super thick and all taste the same. We absolutely had such a great time here!! I saw this place on Yelp and did not want to miss it. We made sure we left the beach on time to get here before it closes. And I read usually there are long lines so we rushed there an hour before they closed and there were no lines and they were so nice and made room for our large party. We wanted to get everything but tried the usual. Dumplings of course and even the soup ones. Noodles and noodle soup. Green onion pie we gotta have and of course the kids all wanted boba. They were so nice and helpful there and brought out our food! Prices were reasonable too. We loved the dumplings esp the soup. The shrimp noodle soup was a tad bland but we still enjoyed it. The beef noodle soup was good but they loves the chicken lomein. The pie was good too and they all loved their boba even though it hada but of tea in them which was minimal.
