If I can give a little advice to everyone I'd say yeah maybe they'll do a decent job (not great, they stand around talking, came late) is it worth the risk of them DAMAGING a tv and then blocking you? Items were left behind in closets, kitchen items were missed, and overall there was a lack of attention to detail. We were also told that our toiletries were "too much" and they would not take them, and they refused to take unopened, brand-new laundry detergent. Communication became another major issue. We were notified less than 24 hours in advance that delivery would be taking place at 8:00 a.m. at our new home. We contacted ownership and simply asked if delivery could be moved to noon because my flight was not landing until 9:00 a.m. and my husband would arrive later that day. Instead of working with us, Angie was rude and stated that we already knew when they would be there. That was incorrect -- she appeared to be referring to the packing schedule, not delivery. I explained our travel situation and tried to communicate in advance. The next morning, I received a message stating they were signing paperwork as "customer not present" and leaving the load at the house. To make matters worse, we discovered damage and missing items: * One dresser was damaged * Another dresser was left laying on its side * Our Tempur-Pedic bed arrived missing wires/components * A decorative statue was damaged Moving is stressful enough, and we expected better communication, more care with our belongings, and basic customer service. Needed movers because I couldn't ask my friends to help us move (I like my friends to stay that…read moreway). They came out and looked at all we wanted moved and listed it all and gave us a good estimate. We had a couple weeks to change items (some ended up selling with the house) and with those changes in place we awaited moving day. I don't know how to explain how great these guys were. They wrapped our items so nicely in blankets to avoid any damage. They were friendly and personable and way nicer to my 14yr old that kept asking them questions than they had to be. They didn't even grumble when I asked them to rearrange items when they got to the new house because I changed my mind where they should go. Best of all they moved a 300lb safe from a basement to another basement and tried their darnedest to get a standing freezer into the new house basement (unfortunately the logistics just didn't work). Estimate came in a lot lower than we expected too. I would recommend them again in a heartbeat !!!

I decided to be a lazy person and hire some movers to make things much easier. After talking to Philip, my day was set for doomsday aka moving day They showed up and cleared the house promptly. My positive experience started with my initial contact with Miss Angie. She let me know that they are a family owned business that takes pride in taking care of their customers. I have moved several times, but never out of state. Also, I was moving while Covid was still rampant. I had no idea what to expect, so I had so many questions. Miss Angie set up a video call so I could "walk her through my home." A couple of days later she gave me an estimate and didn't seem bothered by answering my countless questions. I appreciate it that they had several options, depending on how much help I needed for the move. On the day of the move, I met Alex, who assured me this would be a seamless process and he would personally make sure all of my belongings made it to my new home in TX. Sure enough, a few days later, Alex was the one pulling the semi truck up to my new home and organizing the activities of the move-in crew. He even gave some suggestions on where furniture should go. From beginning to end, the customer service was top-notch and I definitely feel like the money was well worth it. I don't plan to move again anytime soon; but if I do, I will be sure to call Stevenson.
