Through the staff was nice, it took 30 minutes to get a Korean corn dog..when I asked if I could get a refund the corn dog magically was ready and the staff acted surprised that 30 minutes passed. It wasn't busy & the staff had friends behind the counter eating donuts while my corn dogs were somehow forgotten about Adding to my review in response .. I paid for 20 minutes of parking & my parking was expired when I left! I sat in the establishment for 20-30 minutes before receiving my corn dog. I believe that my corn dog was completed in 10 minutes after at least 20 minutes of you forgetting to cook it.. I asked more than once how long it would take & you told me 10 - 15 minutes twice! I also have time stamps of when I got there & when I received my corn dog so it's disappointing to receive a lie as a response :/ read more

There is new ownership now so the donuts and offerings lean more Mexican, with churro and horchata as featured flavors, and even some amazing sweet coffee and chocolate drinks (like Abuelita hot chocolate!). But for those of you who prefer the Asian leaning desserts, fear not for they still offer chewy mochi donuts and even boba! While mochinuts are generally my favorite donut, it's hard not to love the Dubai chocolate donut they sell here. It is gorgeous and stuffed with that pistachio cream and kataifi crunch we all love. My husband isn't a huge fan of sweets but swears this is the best donut he's ever had. $7 isn't cheap but neither are pistachios! I've appreciated that they're open fairly late and that they can make fresh donuts for you if they run out on the display. I've yet to try their hot dogs (the hot Cheetos battered one looks intriguing) but the last time I came here a huge group of people ordered them and it looked good. I prefer sweet over savory most days and Dulce Mochi definitely satisfies my sweet tooth! Anyway, this is all to say that they have something for everyone :) read more

Dulce Mochi - Assorted donuts - Donuts Near Me - Sherman Oaks, California

Absolutely awful experience. New name new management? They got a new donut (Boston cream) which sounded delicious, but after a few bites, the donut (without mochi) tasted stale or over cooked, and the custard was watery. I went in and asked for a refund or an exchange and the clerk stonewalled me, made me wait through a sea of customers to talk to management. Terrible business decisions over $4 and I waited 53 minutes to get my money back. I am officially never returning, don't take care. Edit to reply to owners comment: I was in the store asking for either an exchange or my money back and they spent 53 minutes, avoiding me. Point of fact, if the clerk that ultimately gave me a refund, he could've done that when I first returned in, this just felt like an unnecessary power trip or an he was on trying to see if I would give up and leave, it's just mean read more

Tried their ube and strawberry boba, regular Korean corn dog and the hot cheetos one with both mozzarella. Their boba comes with a unique soda can top that I have not seen elsewhere. That was pretty cool. Their korean corn dogs didn't seem fresh. The hot cheetos tasted off brand and there were lots of empty spaces when you bite into the Korean corn dogs. The boba was mushy and didn't taste great. Maybe it was an off day but definitely had better at other places. read more

Was just here today because they have happy hour promotion (20% off 5-7pm) and got 3 mochi donuts plus 1 free as a reward. This is my 2nd time here since the name/ownership change. My first visit was a weekend morning and today I was there end of day. Both occasions the donuts I got tasted fresh. They didn't have my favorite flavors but I loved the crème brûlée one. What I really loved about these donuts is the texture and it's sooo filling. I usually eat just a few circles of each flavor. Service is fast and efficient. Parking in the back of the front is full. read more

Dulce Mochi - Strawberry cheesecake flavor, Oreo, crème brûlée and mango - Donuts Near Me - Sherman Oaks, California

If you're a fan of mochi donuts or even just curious about them, Dulce Mochi is a MUST-visit! I've tried my fair share of donut spots, but this place truly stands out for both quality and creativity. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they take pride in what they do, and that shows in every single bite! Let's talk about the mochi donuts, because wow. The texture alone deserves its own shoutout, it's perfectly chewy on the inside with just the right crispness on the outside. That signature mochi bounce is done flawlessly here, and it's clear these donuts are made fresh and with care. I tried the Red Velvet Cheesecake mochi donut, and it was such a pleasant surprise. It was rich and cocoa-forward red velvet flavor paired beautifully with the creamy cheesecake element. It was indulgent without being overly sweet or heavy, and the balance between the tangy cheesecake and the chewy mochi base was perfection. This one alone is reason enough to come back! The Biscoff mochi donut was another standout. If you love that warm, spiced cookie butter flavor, this one is for you. It was packed with Biscoff goodness, but still allowed the mochi texture to shine through, instead of being drowned out. Sweet, comforting, and absolutely addictive. Next up was the Cookies N Cream mochi donut, which delivered exactly what I hoped for. Crunchy cookie pieces, creamy sweetness, and that chewy mochi base made it the perfect balance of texture and flavor. It tasted familiar in the best way, but still elevated compared to your standard cookies and cream dessert. I also tried a couple of their regular donuts too, and they absolutely hold their own alongside the mochi options. The Fruity Pebbles donut was fun, colorful, and nostalgic without being overly sweet. It had that classic cereal flavor that brings you right back to childhood, but done in a way that still felt fresh and well executed. Then there was the chocolate donut with a fudgy brownie in the center!! I wish I remembered the name because this one was unreal. Rich, chocolatey, and incredibly decadent. Biting into that gooey brownie center was such a treat, especially for any chocolate lover. It felt like two desserts in one, and it was easily one of the most indulgent things I tried. Last but definitely not least, the banana cream donut. The filling was smooth, creamy, and full of banana flavor without tasting artificial. It paired perfectly with the donut itself and wasn't overly heavy, which I really appreciated. A great option if you want something sweet but balanced. On top of all that, the customer service was fantastic. The staff I spoke with was welcoming, patient, and genuinely kind. They were happy to explain flavors, offer recommendations, and made the whole experience feel warm and inviting rather than rushed. That kind of service makes such a difference and really elevates the visit. Overall, Dulce Mochi delivers on every level with amazing donuts, unique flavors, perfect textures, and great service. Whether you're a die hard mochi donut fan or just someone who loves trying new dessert spots, this place is absolutely worth stopping by. I'll definitely be back to try even more flavors next time. Thank you for having me! read more

After practice one day, I decided to get something sweet and bring some tasty desserts home for the family. I dropped by this cozy place and went straight for the Mochi Donuts. I ordered three, which included the Matcha, Chocolate Shortcake, and Milk Tea options. They all looked so good and it was tough to not take a bite on the way home, but I was successful in keeping everything intact. I ordered a Hot Dog, which also had cheese in it. What a filling choice! To wash it all down later on, I also ordered Coffee Boba since I needed to stay awake for awhile and I wanted a dessert feel to the beverage. The loved ones enjoyed what I brought home and were fascinated by the concept of the Mochi Donut! I have always enjoyed this and will continue to share these treats any way I can. read more

Friendly staff. Nothing special inside but gets the job done so I'll comment on the food. Potato half and half - nice and chewy, tasty cheese, and hotdog. Add the spicy mayo dip for a nice additional flavor. Strawberry cloud Boba - good texture boba, the drink itself wasn't super unique, but the canned drink is unique since it feels like you're opening a soda Overall, really enjoyed the potato half & half. Didn't have any donuts this time around but enjoyed the boba. Not the cheapest but unique & Uber eats runs some promo BOGOs sometimes Wouldn't mind coming back again! read more

I had such a great time at Mochinut! The three piece donuts were soft chewy and glazed just right we could have easily eaten more because they were that good. We also tried the potato mozzarella cheese (no beef) and it was honestly amazing!! The outside was super crispy and the inside was gooey cheesy and so satisfying.... It reminds me of being at a fair & you crave the yummy fried food. Everything tasted really fresh and it all hit the spot I cannot wait to come back for more sweet and savory treats. Just be prepared to wait 10+ minutes for them to make your food, might call ahead and order ahead of time so it's ready to be picked up next time. It's worth the wait! The place is small so, if it's busy there isn't a ton of space to sit and eat. 5/5! read more

Dulce Mochi - Lychee Boba Tea and Churro Style Original Corndog - Donuts Near Me - Sherman Oaks, California

This is a great boba spot! My favorite thing about it is the unique cups they come with soda can style lids instead of the traditional seal you poke through with a straw. You just pop it open like a soda can and drop your straw in, which I found absolutely awesome. This simple but clever idea won me over instantly huge kudos to whoever came up with it! On top of that, their donuts are amazing. I got a Cookie Monster donut for $3.50, and it was the perfect match for my boba, which was priced the same as other spots. I'll definitely be back this soda can lid concept has me hooked! read more

I haven't been here in a very long time and didn't know it was under new ownership, so the once moist incredible mochi doughnuts now being dry and way too sweet was a huge shock to me. Doesn't feel the same as it used to, i loved the owners before very personable people and the young people working were very nice. ‍ won't be coming back which is so sad because mochinut used to be my favorite place. Firstly, every cup had a psalm verse talking about God. This is extremely off putting and quite strange to be proselytizing at a food business. Secondly, when ordering boba we were not told that they ran out until after we paid. When notified, we were unable to get a refund or exchange our item. Then, when using a free doughnut reward, we were told we had to buy two first. We were met with rudeness & had to ask multiple times to get our order fulfilled. Doughnuts were stale and milk teas were so horrible we threw them out right away. Do not recommend. read more

Dulce Mochi -- Sherman Oaks' Most Magical Little Shop I don't know where to start because everything about Dulce Mochi makes me want to hand out boxes to everyone I know, and honestly, that's exactly what I do. My bank tellers, my dog groomer, the crew at daycare, my UPS store, even my gym. These mochi donuts make people stop mid-conversation and say what is this and where did it come from? The owner, Destiny, is 22 years old and creates every single recipe herself. Twenty-two. Let that sink in. The talent and love she pours into this place is something you can taste in every single bite. The Oreo filling is like the lightest, most dreamy whipped cream you've ever had, but make it Oreo. The banana donut captures that nostalgic magic of those little round yellow cookies we all grew up eating and making cakes with on the back of the box. Her chocolate fudge cake mochi tastes exactly like a classic fridge cake. The red velvet genuinely melts in your mouth. And the green crème brûlée caramel? That signature crackle on top, the soft custard inside, she absolutely nailed it. She's always rotating in creative new flavors and offers great deals when you sign up. Sometimes you'll even stumble upon samples, which feels like a little gift from the universe. And if you think it's just mochi donuts, wait until you try her Korean hot dogs. Incredible. She also does boba and coffee, which makes this the perfect casual date spot or a place to grab something truly special for the people you love. The location is super easy to find now, right across the street from Chick-fil-A in Sherman Oaks, next to a yogurt spot, a smoke shop, a sushi restaurant, and a little cluster of shops and restaurants near Baseline Park. It's a whole little neighborhood vibe and Dulce Mochi is absolutely the heart of it. Destiny is pure love, and Dulce Mochi reflects that in everything she creates. This place is precious, special, and absolutely worth every visit. Go. Bring someone you care about. Or just bring yourself and leave happier than you arrived, I promise you will. Amazing food, service, and drinks!!! I read an earlier review where a customer gave a low rating due to the stickers about God. I bet they still eat In-n-out though which always includes Bible verses on the bottom of their bags! I have been ordering them while working from home. I love the Thai Tea boba, churro, fruity ube, and strawberry guava donuts. Amazing. The corn dogs are also so delicious. To that customer: just because you may be hurt by a church, or a person, it doesn't mean that truly represented who Jesus really is. Food this place after one of my kid's soccer games at the park. It was a little treat for their hard work. That was 2 years ago and they haven't stopped asking anytime we are in the area. It is that good. The shop is small. Only a few seats. But what they lack in seating, they make up for in taste. My kids love the fried cheese and green takis. I love the corn dogs. My go to is the bbq bacon corn dog. A great balance of salty and sweet. So if you're looking for a special treat, definitely check out Mochinut. And for bonus points, try the churro donut.
