Awful just awful!! I couldn't believe my daughters pictures when I received them, necklace on her shoulder, hair a mess in her face and on her lip. Unbelievable someone would actually take this picture and expect another to want to purchase them!? This is highly unprofessional and I've not been able to contact anyone (phone says not accepting calls), emailed and have had no response on the return of my money. To reply to the comment, if was so professional wouldn't have even taken the picture that way. I never in my daughters 10 years of school had a school picture this ridiculous! Not to mention no one has ever contacted me about this after I emailed what was wrong. I'm just now getting a ridiculous comment months later! Yea so professional?! read more

Garbage!! The pictures I got of my daughter are embarrassing. They did not add the background I paid for, and the pose is totally ridiculous. I have been calling and e mailing Duke for 3 days and no one will respond. Her school pictures are done by Duke every year and are never great, but this is just to the point where it's almost comical. Duke, you should be embarrassed. and then to ignore the issue? Wow. My daughter took picture retakes on October 30, 2019 and we still have not received her school photos nearly three months later. A manager said that her photos would be shipped via the mail but still (two weeks later) and no photos. This business seems disorganized as several emails have been exchanged and no photos. I will not be ordering school photos again. read more

Another two weeks, two phone calls, one online form submission and one Better Business Bureau complaint later, and I still have not received my order for Duke Photography, despite Andrea's assurance that it was being shipped out the following Monday. This studio is clearly incompetent when it comes to customer service and product delivery. I am hoping that the Better Business Bureau is able to secure both my order and a refund, as I have been unable to do so on my own (not for serious lack of trying and considerable agitation, however). According to their web site: "It just goes to show you that you just don't get professional portraits at Duke Photography... you get a friend." I have never had a more unreliable "friend" in my life! read more

SEE UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM... I am in tears! It doesn't matter how good they are, if they don't get your child's photo in their Senior Yearbook nothing else is important. THIS CANT BE FIXED! Shame on you Duke! Below is the comment I sent them, I'll keep you all updated. Thank you for completely leaving my daughter out of her senior yearbook! I am so glad we signed on for an extra photo session and ordered specialty photos! Even though we only paid for the proofs so far and haven't paid and picked up our final order. I am thrilled that you didn't manage to get her FREE Senior photo in her yearbook! Especially since it is the only yearbook we purchased in all four years., especially since she has fought extreme hardships to get through school and had fought a major handicap. You are PERFECT and I can't wait to tell EVERYONE what a great job you have done! UPDATE.... Everyone makes mistakes but half the battle is how you handle your mistake after it's done and Duke gets all my praise for expert handling! Without giving too much detail lets just say that they were appropriately and truly devastated by the mistake that had been made, made immediate changes in their procedures to preclude a repeat and did absolutely everything in their power to make amends and all the very same day. I will definitely return for my future photography needs. They are truly a "class above"! read more

I took some old pictures in to be restored. A couple of them were my sons and his favorites from his childhood. Unfortunately, his puppy got a hold of them and chewed them up pretty good and he was very upset about it. My son didn't think that they could be fixed. But...I found Duke Photography and they do photo restoration's. I took them in and showed them to the owner and he said that the restoration guy "Cody" could do it and that he was very good at his job. Well, he was right!!! Cody did an amazing job on restoring the pictures and I was extremely satisfied and will be giving them to my son as a surprise for his 60th Birthday. Duke did senior portraits for our son's High School, recently. We got the prints back and they weren't cut-up! We got three sheets of pictures that we had to try to cut apart without messing them up! We expect that when we order prints from Walgreen's, but we also pay a lot less for prints from Walgreen's. read more

This place has very inefficient service. My wife ordered some printed photos of my daughter's school picture. They printed the photo that did not even appear in the proofs we ordered it from. To top it all, they printed photo took forever to be available. read more

Duke photography is professional and Polite. Their photographers are really good at posing and making everyone look like a professional model. They're easily the best in Arizona. read more

We will not go here again. Over priced, they misled me on what pricing was on the phone they said the sitting fee would go towards portrait package which is untrue. No wonder there is no pricing listed online. We have to wait weeks for finished pictures. I am fine with an upsell because the pictures were good but this is not the case. Get in the digital age! We were printed tiny proofs to look at. Extra $400 for digital version. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. My daughter had preschool pictures in October. They would not take payment on picture day. When I got the order form a month later she was photographed against a dark background. Which we were not warned about and her hair and outfit camouflaged in with the background! It was unbelievable they didn't warn us about what colors to avoid. I paid with a credit card by the deadline despite being unhappy with the picture. I tried to use their online payment and their website is horrible, don't waste your time. Fast forward to 12/1 and I get a notice that my child won't get pictures because my credit card failed on 11/16. (We had fraud and I didn't realize I had a payment pending because I paid on 10/31, thought it was taken care of). No phone call to get a new card, nothing. I called today to give a credit card and they told me it will be at least another week until I can drive half way across the valley to pick up her pictures. No explanation of why they never called when there was a payment issue, no apologies for terrible customer service. I am so frustrated. I wanted these pictures for Christmas gifts to send to out of town relatives and now that is next to impossible. Pictures taken in October shouldn't take 2 months to get to parents. This company is despicable and I will be telling my school they should consider another company going forward. read more

Came here with my sister for her senior pictures had a great session with David who has 20+ years experience he took his time with us and the pictures came out terrific. Every staff member had great customer service, my only complaint about Duke is the prices coming here expect to pay a minimum of 350. read more
