We have been…read morewith this company for over 10 years and have set up automatic withdraw to pay for electric bills. For one time, I forgot to call them and give them a new expiration date for the credit card to be charged. They stopped withdrawing from this card without notifying me, and nobody tried to contact me to get a new expiration date. I didn't get a paper pill either because I signed up for paperless option. One evening, coming home from work, I got a note on my door that said I should contact them asap otherwise the service would be disconnected. Next day when I came home, the electricity was already cut off. Less than 24 hour notice!!! I called the office and was told that to get the power back on, I had to pay $100 reconnect fee. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was told the supervisor wouldn't be back until three days later. I would either leave the house with no electricity for at least 3 days, or pay $100 penalty. I found out why they wouldn't work with their customers - this company is the only company that services the area. Finally I had to pay $100 penalty to get the power back on. If you have a choice, choose a different company, otherwise, you are doomed. You have to be super careful in managing your payments. A small mistake can cost you big money.

Terry asked for input and photos before he arrived and was easily able to discern what parts were needed before he arrived. I was having trouble with a breaker in my fuse box so, after a Google search, I called and spoke with Bruce, who I've never met before. He said that before I incur the expense of a home visit and repairs, I should try a few things. He walked me through the process and sure enough it worked. My breaker was fine; it was a power strip that had gone bad, so the breaker, Bruce explained, was doing its job of keeping our house safe. That kind of upfront honesty and integrity can be rare.
