Dugan's Pub quickly became one of our favorite stops in downtown Little Rock. We were looking for a place with good food and a relaxed atmosphere, and it delivered on both. The first thing that caught my attention was the authentic Irish pub feel. The dark wood, stained-glass accents, cozy fireplace, and traditional décor create a welcoming space that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We happened to visit while Team USA was playing in the FIFA World Cup, and the pub was packed with fans cheering throughout the match. The energy in the room made the experience even more memorable. I ordered the hand-battered chicken tenders and fries, and they were excellent--crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. My brother ordered the fish and chips and kept saying they reminded him of the fish and chips he had while traveling in Ireland. We also shared an order of bangers and mash, which was rich, hearty, and exactly what you'd expect from a classic Irish pub. Whether you're stopping in to watch a match, enjoy a meal, or simply experience one of Little Rock's most inviting pubs, Dugan's Pub is well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Little Rock.

Came here while walking around the downtown area. And so glad that we did. Our server Ronan was hands down the best we've had. Very knowledgeable of the food & beverage options & we lacked for nothing while here. The atmosphere is casual, comfortable and inviting. At no point did we feel rushed while we were here. The food and drinks were amazing. We will most certainly put this on our must do list if we are ever in the area again.

    Steak salad- very good!

Steak salad was awesome! Loved the salty cheese and homemade blue cheese dressing with a medium cooked steak slices. I highly recommend this. Cup of potato soup was creamy but imo needed a little more salt. Service was friendly and attentive. Iced tea was a little weak and needed more sugar imo. Overall, I would return.

Checked out our fave Irish pub for their Wednesday lunch special (meatloaf) and were not disappointed! Typically comes with macaroni and cheese, cob corn, and green beans; we subbed the corn for a double helping of better than typical mac, and the beans were extremely well seasoned (pork present, not vegetarian). We added a cup of potato soup (soup of our people), fully dressed, which was creamy and delicious and had two chunks of bread for dipping. The meatloaf was well-textured, well-sauced, and piping hot. Swoon and drool! Paired with two pints of draft Guinness, whilst seated on the stage corner of the pub, we had excellent people viewing and a lovely waitress to complete the wonderful Wednesday outing. We will repeat!

    Kid's chicken tenders

I usually love this place, thus the 4 stars. But I would warn against getting the kid's chicken tenders. It's a $3 up charge for adults. I was expecting the same tenders as the full meal, just fewer of them (which would be good for a lunch portion). I've had the chicken tenders before and was craving them today. Instead got 4 tiny bits of chicken and a side of fries. This was $13 after tax and before tip. One of the biggest disparities between price/ portion I've experienced in a long time.

This spot was recommended by a coworker who had been here before, and it was a great recommendation. I'm really not usually a fan of Irish pubs -- I don't generally like Irish beer. However, they had a local seasonal stout on top that was absolutely fantastic. A coworker asked our server to bring their favorite stout and while I can't remember what it was, it hit the spot completely. We all agreed it was fantastic. While we were driving to Dugan's, I started taking a look at their menu online. I haven't had a ton of fresh veggies on the trip, so I really just wanted something like a giant hearty salad... ask and you shall receive, apparently! Right on their digital menu (they have physical menus at the restaurant) was an amazing looking green salad with a generous helping of steak. Naturally, I ordered the steak salad. It didn't come with a set dressing, so I opted for balsamic. I wasn't particularly wild about their balsamic dressing, but it wasn't bad (just not my favorite). I still ate every last possible ounce of the salad. The steak was really juicy and well (as in good) cooked. Salads don't usually fill me up, but this certainly did. My travel mate also enjoyed their food -- one ordered the pork chops and the other the grilled salmon. Our server had great recommendations, was very attentive throughout, and was just overall enjoyable to talk to. I certainly recommend this place.

Tried this place again for convenience. This time I wandered off the beaten path and took the waiter's recommendation; the shepards pie. The consistency was good and taste was fine. But half of it was room temperature and the other half was scalding hot. I'm not sure what cooking process produces that effect. I think this place is probably just best for drinking and the half hot shepards pie is best eaten while intoxicated.

Food was top tier. They were timely when getting our order. They also have the best mozzarella cheese sticks.

Such a fun spot. I found it on the internet but hotel also recommended. We went both nights we were in town for drinks. A fun band was there one night. The other night, we watched the World Series. Food variety is diverse. We ate the cheese sticks and they were BIG and flavorful. Staff is friendly and attentive. Cozy double sided fireplace.

    Shepherds pie is awesome!

Our conversation was about living close to each other and hanging out as well playing in bands. Maybe he was having a hard night, maybe I said something that annoyed him (not sure how). I ordered the dirty bird chicken wings, and a bacon cheeseburger with fries. We had the first food that came out. Wings were cold and did not have much sauce on them. Ordered more sauce cost me a dollar for a little cup. We asked about the wings and they said they are smoked now so I'm guessing they sit back there under a heat lamp. Probably the reason they were very dry and I had to order more sauce. I was hoping that when I dipped it in the ranch it would help but none of the ranch stuck on my wing. I've seen water that was thicker. Was looking forward to the old bacon cheeseburger, the Pump used to serve. This cheeseburger is nothing like the old one. The size of the patty is what you get at a little league baseball game. It was also overcook and dry and cold. Wondering if that was under a heat lamp also. They do not have Bud Light or Coors light! PBR's are five dollars! Pitcher of beer is $25! No beer buckets! Looks like a dive bar doesn't taste or drink like one!!!! So I spent $28 and tipped 20%. So I ended up spending just under $35. I can go to the Faded Rose or Brave New for that amount.
