The Rocky Tops crew did a good install job considering the un level floor on which my cabinets sat…read more There were some small un calculated areas that should have been seen before installation. Two things: NEVER let anyone cut granite in your house without the device made to connect to the saw the collects the massive amount of white dust! As the result of not using the right equipment and not sealing my kitchen off it took me three weeks to clean all I could see on surfaces then hire someone to get to fabric, baseboards, blinds, shades and windows. Warning two. Tell your install crew not to put any cans, brushes or rags on your furniture. One of the installers left a rag soaked in a caustic material on my antique ponderosa pine table, causing it to cloud into the wood. The table top had to be completely refinished. My Rocky Tops agreed to pay for that but since the job in April, keeps telling me the "woman who writes the checks" hasn't. I paid for the refinishing in hope that the woman who writes checks would come across the payment due to the customer subjected to carelessness causing damage. These were nice people to deal with and they accommodated me by finding a granite that matched my budget. They just need to be more aware of what they are doing while in someone's home and stand behind their word Now, no one wants to return my call

That the work would be top quilty and professional. When the countertops were installed the caulking was not done correctly and some areas not done at all. I called Chris the installation manager about the issue but he refused to return my call. I had to take time off from work to go to Rocky Tops Custom Countertops about the issue. Even then I was not able to speak to Chris or any manager about the issue. When they came back to install the backsplash they brought the wrong backsplash to my house. Then when they did bring the right backsplash it was not what I had approved. It was missing an outlet cutout that I had called out on the slabsmith. I was reassured by Nayeli that the outlet was not missing and would be cutout. Now I'm stuck with a slab that I didn't approve. Went back to Rocky Tops Custom Countertops and asked to speak to a manager. Again I was denied the opportunity to speak to a manger about it. The missing outlet that the installer had to cut out because they didn't do it at the warehouse b Poor quality and not professional.

PDP installed granite for a couple of my projects. I moved into my home in May and they were one of…read morethe least expensive vendors nearby. Rachel is great and very fair and professional. Her husband coordinated two visits and installs. My experience with the installs were fine except for the 2nd one. The price was competitive for the work. It was not "Home Depot or Lowes" quality but it was very acceptable. They were also timely. I deducted two stars for his customer service. The slab on 1st order was cut a little off but my contractor worked it out. No issue. My kitchen counter top cut was worse. The back edge against the wall ranged between 1/16 and up to 1/2 in gap. They installed it. It was 1/4 wider than my backsplash in some areas. Also, they didnt leave the sink cutout. I was using this for my kitchen island top so they would match. I reached out to them so we could correct this. Barry kept making promises to call me back. He stated their cutter was broken. He advised me they could come out to see the gap after telling me to try caulk. Then he didn't answer anymore after never replacing my slab cutout or money. I had to spend the $100 and extra time with another vendor to get the slab I had already paid Barry for and to get my gap sealed correctly. I want to recommend them but because of this I can not. The service with him is not consistent and I don't have the money to waste on repeat work. I say go visit the location, talk to Rachel and decide for yourself.
