First and foremost, Nicole, our Event Coordinator was absolutely amazing!! Nicole was so caring and kind, super helpful and a pleasure to work with!! Meeting her in 2019, we felt right at home with her, like she was family or as if we had known her for years! She made sure our planning was stress-free and had our back 1000% along the way! I cannot express the gratitude we have for her!! We booked our 2021 wedding long before the pandemic hit, so the months leading up to our big day had us biting our nails! But nevertheless, Nicole made sure we were informed of any updates along the way and she left everything completely transparent. Fast forward to last month, we had our big day on July 24! Everything was executed BETTER than I ever could have imagined. It was absolutely beautiful! The lighting inside the hall was so bright, and gave such a warm and happy vibe. The space was so inviting and we could not have been any happier. The Salerno's staff was top notch! All of the waitstaff, bartenders, and service workers were on top of their game!! All were so attentive and friendly! They did such an amazing job!! Almost every single guest we have talked to since the wedding has said that it was the BEST wedding they have ever attended! We ALL wish we could relive that day over and over again! We are so lucky for Nicole and everyone at Salerno's!! Thank you for giving us the most epic day of our lives :)

Each one was more expensive and stuck up than the next. The few that were relatively close to our price range were dingy or rude or super shady. We were almost ready to settle on a still-too-pricey "Tavern & Function Club" but the contact person was just so rude and unresponsive, and the location was in a small, dark basement. We didn't know what to do. Just in time, however, we were saved by a recommendation by a cape local. They said to check out Salerno's in Onset. Well what a godsend! -First, Salerno's was 30% cheaper than the other run-down, rude option. A full third of the price less than the next cheapest option we found after six weeks search! -On top of that, it was absolutely beautiful! The roomy hall has high ceilings, with beautiful walls and chandeliers. -On top of that, the staff was fantastic. Our contact person, Nicole, was an absolute angel! She helped us every step along the way. She put up with our crazy requests, last minute changes, neurotic wedding planning psychosis and even worked with us to save even more money!!! -On top of that, but the food was awesome. Just awesome. Salerno's also has a sister company which makes Italian food and Pizza down the street, so their in-house chefs are amazing! (I got lots of complements about this from guests! Truly great) So let me summarize. With a VFW Hall budget, we got heavenly location with an angelic coordinator, and food to die for. I'm tempted to get a divorce, just so I can remarry and have the ceremony at Salerno's again!

The bar will stay open while your event goes on, thus, two doors, good. Patrons of the bar won't bother you, and if you want a soda, it's cheap ;) Only thing that is a bummer, as soon as you walk out of the hall into the space between the bar and the hall, you will smell alcohol. The chairs and tables aren't exactly spotless, so you may want to bring your own tablecloth.

This party was great, we covered the place head to ties with balloons and drapes of colorful plastic tables cloths and not one peep. As long as you clean up after, they don't bother you. I thought I would pass this along I know halls are expensive and sometimes are so tough to decorate! Of also lots if parking!
