TLDR: I'd highly recommend the crew and Jacob for any HVAC issues. They are candid, confident and…read morefriendly, solving problems with real expertise and persistency. Our 9-yr Samsung unit was having the E203 error again after a fix about 2 years ago with another company. We found Living Air from the official Samsung vendor list so decided to give it a go. We got a free diagnosis and Jacob found the root cause: The compressor had failed and was taking out the inverter boards one after another. Jacob didn't just tell me the result, he showed me the dead short on the meter (and I did my research to understand it). We didn't get this deep dive on the root cause last time, which was probably why the real issue was never fixed, so I trusted Jacob with providing fix options. We got quotes for compressor replacement and entire unit replacement options. Jacob was very clear and open to the trade offs of all options. We also got some other quotes to understand our options better. But after talking to other companies we just felt more pulled to Living Air, and it just felt nice and easy to have an open and direct communication with Jacob. We eventually decided to replace the whole unit for its age and other reasons, and Jacob again gave us a very informative comparison among different brands for the new unit. The installment was quick and smooth, even with our narrow stair ways and the indoor unit being located on third floor in our tiny bathroom. Jacob and the crew powered through the obstacles and finished everything nicely, with additional rubbles to make sure the condenser pad was leveled and steady. You can tell the unit was handled with expertise and care by just looking at it. We requested to have city permits done so we make sure we don't have issues with the records in the future. And nobody really realized this would lead to the biggest obstacle: the permit process. My city was very picky (for better or worse) in the process and the paperwork was just a huge time sink. Even with all the installment details being great, the slow back and forth communication took like 2 months. Jacob weathered the whole process from the beginning to the end and updated me regularly. We eventually got approved by the city with a lot extra time taken that nobody expected. Jacob didn't charge for any of those work time, because he valued his promise and I had huge respect for that. Through out the HVAC process, I asked a lot of detailed questions, either technical or cost related. Jacob always answered them with patience and details, genuine answers without hidden info or "don't worry about it". I can tell he really cares his customers and he treats HVAC work seriously. This is exactly why I trusted him more in every step. Doing business with Jacob and the crew is simply a pleasant and easy experience. Living Air definitely makes sure they have earned every penny with expertise, trust, and hardwork. For that, I cannot recommend them enough!

They are a dying breed, but Jere Plumbing Pro is one of the last remaining specimens. After the first plumber I tried outright stood me up on our appointment, I gave Jere Plumbing Pro a call. Eddie was extremely responsive, thoroughly explained on the phone how he works, texted ahead of our set appointment to indicate he was on his way and he showed up on time. He knew he needed to coordinate with the building management so before he even came to my unit he was already in the building office coordinating with them. He came prepared with all the needed tools and equipment, including some high-end remote cameras to inspect areas otherwise not accessible, and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. He thoroughly inspected and diagnosed the problem and even fixed a couple of additional issues I had not mentioned before for no additional charge. He worked efficiently, explained everything thoroughly and had me verify for myself his work. And to top it off, his bill was for *less* than his initial estimate. Now that's a trustworthy guy. Outstanding Service - Highly Recommend!…read more From start to finish, my experience with Just Better Heating & Air Conditioning was exceptional. The team was incredibly thorough and meticulous throughout the entire process right from starting with a detailed inspection of the attic, followed by a comprehensive and well-documented proposal that clearly outlined all the work needed. They also identified some shortcomings in the existing ductwork and took the time to explain everything in detail, complete with pictures. What really impressed me was that they didn't push this as the only solution. Instead, they offered two clear choices, allowing me to make an informed decision. I ultimately chose to address everything at once, and I'm so glad I did. It's all sorted out now! They installed manual dampers at the specified locations exactly as promised, and took the time to check and verify the airflow throughout the entire house, ensuring everything was perfectly balanced. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality really stood out. Out of the three quotes I received, theirs was by far the most reasonable, without compromising on service or craftsmanship. The team was professional, courteous, and clearly took pride in their work. I was referred to them by word of mouth, and I'm so glad I have an HVAC company I can trust. I couldn't be happier with the results and would highly recommend Just Better Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone in need of HVAC services. Five stars all the way!

Accurate Plumbing & Drains was hired by the restoration company who was working on my sink leak…read moreturned full bathroom remodel. Accurate Plumbing was brought in the replace the leaky part with the sink. Upon arrival, the technician came into my home without introducing themselves. I had to ask clarifying questions to confirm that they were hired by the restoration company. I also found it incredibly rude that they left their shoes on without any shoe covered. Granted SOME areas were covered by plastic BUT they walked into areas without plastic covered with their dirty shoes into my home. This is my biggest pet peeve. As we walked to turn off the water for the house, the technical was telling me how this restoration company uses them cause they charge super cheap pricing. A bit sketch because that restoration company is their client in this situation and they were kind of throwing them under the bus, or trying to cut out the middle man for future business. What annoyed me even more, and I even called out how previous plumbing companies tell me to turn the water back on slowlyyyy to prevent the pipes from cracking from immediate pressure. This dude just turns on the water real quick anyways. Rude! If they treated my home with respect I would have considered hiring them in the future, but they did an awful job representing their client and themselves on this visit. I felt very disrespected and annoyed by their visit. I don't care how cheap it was, I would rather pay more for quality and respect.
