I went on a Wednesday morning figuring it won't be crowded. Wow, was I wrong! There was a line waiting to place orders and some people sitting and enjoying their donuts and coffee. I picked out a half dozen of various flavors and waited a few minutes as I watched my donuts being made before my eyes. There's a machine that pours the batter and cooks the donuts individually. After they're cooked, they are brought to an area where the staff members craft each donut , adding sprinkles, syrup, frosting , chocolate, cinnamon, etc. . I brought mine home and quickly made some coffee. These donuts were amazing! The flavors were true to taste, nothing artificial. The donuts were soft and fluffy in texture. It was my first time trying Duck Donuts! The workers were very adorable. We ordered 3 donuts and they made them fresh right in front of us. Because they were so hot it was a bit hard to dip and add the toppings. They squished a bit in the workers hand. They tasted delicious, a very fresh cake like donut. They had many flavor options! I got peanut butter frosting with Oreos and marshmallow drizzle. We also tried peanut butter with chocolate drizzle. The food was very good. We decided to try a breakfast sandwich doughnut. Found the doughnut to be too delicate to be used as sandwich material. However. Very good donut nice and sweet. It was a plain doughnut that was used for our breakfast sandwiches and they were sweet without any glaze or topping on it. Service was very nice. The place was very clean. Just wasn't used to having such a delicate doughnut, but it was delicious. read more

So far I have stopped in her twice with my family and both times we were greeted immediately and the staff was so friendly and helpful. This past Friday I stopped in and got a half dozen. The owner actually took my order and was so kind. In addition my kids LOVE watching the donuts be made. Although I prefer a yeast donut their cake donuts are always crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Unfortunately we ate all the donuts so fast I forgot to take a picture. read more

Delicious made to order donuts! So fresh and absolutely yummy! The iced Carmel Macchiato was also really good! I love the little ducks they sell for very reasonable prices. BEST DONUTS IN THE AREA!! Everything is made to order and absolutely delicious!! My husband got a Breakfast sandwich on a donut with maple drizzle and crumbled bacon on top, and I got a seasonal glazed pumpkin spice donut! Great energy here. The donuts taste pretty good but sadly we were disappointed. We ordered donuts and donut topped milkshakes. The milkshakes took 20 minutes after we received the donuts and it was more like flavored milk, not thick or creamy at all. They put the donuts inside this liquid so they were soggy and dropped to the bottom. Not like the pictures demonstrated at all. My teenagers didn't even finish theirs. Stopped in at 1030 on 9/7/25. Ordered a dozen for $30. Took forever to get them, they we so hot the icing melted and ran off, and they fell apart when I tried to pick one up to eat it. Duck Donuts is next to BJ's in Brooksville. It was crowded and it took a few seconds to figure out that the crowd, as you entered, were "waiting " and that the ordering register was in the back. The donuts are $2.50 each. Ordering was quick but I waited 15 minutes to get my order. The donuts were hot and fresh; however, because they were hot, most of the icing melted to the bottom of the box. Also, no matter which donuts I ordered, they were all, what is commonly known as, Cake Donuts (think Thick and Dense). The store was clean and new, the staff could not be nicer, but for me... the wait time was way too long, the Prices way too high and though I like Cake Donuts, I prefer soft and lite style donuts better.
