After about ten minutes of waiting i finally went up to someone and she introduced me to some other lady that worked there, I couldnt recall names, but when we mentioned that we were wanting to adopt two of their dogs the lady speaking to us didnt even greet us, continuously cut us off and basically told us that we were not good fits to adopt those dogs. They don't tell you everything about their dogs online, the dogs we wanted were labeled as sweet, cuddly, and timid, but this lady explained these dogs to be crazy and escaping all the time, busting out of ANY medal crate, and running their head into the glass door until they are let out. It would've been nice to know these things before applying for them. Then some other lady decides to cut in and be very disrespectful towards my roommate, here is basically what was said: My roomate: "Oh i was getting Gomez" Wiggly tails employee: "Oh your GETTING gomez, have you spoke to nicole yet" but in a very mocking tone, while this employee is talking to my roomate she has her hands in the front of her pants and her shirt up so that her entire stomach was out which I thought was complete inappropiate to do while speaking to someone else. As me and my roommate were trying not to actually cry because this lady was rude to us, she kept giving us deep breathes and rolling her eyes. I had sent in an application for one of their dogs and I brought it up to the lady we were speaking to, and she let me know that they no one even saw my application which was not fun to hear, I was let down heavily by this establishment especially because one of my closest friends highly recommended them to me for a first time pup. I work with patients all day and I ran into this lady and her niece had the same experience I did where they basically just turned her away. I'm never the type of person to write reviews but I was very hurt with the way they were speaking to us and the lack of professionalism that we witnessed. If your thinking of adopting from Wiggly Tails. I would highly recommend doing your research first. Wiggly Tails I had so much hope, but you guys were very rude and let me down.

Our two dogs and one cat love this place they come home happy and some times it seems like they wish they could stay there. The prices are pretty reasonable they will feed them with their own food and if you have special requests they will do it. They love animals here and I appreciate that they love animals as their job unlike others who just do it for the money. They will even wash your dog for you so they won't be dirty for you in your car. All and all I highly recommend this place to any dog owner or cat owner who are going on a trip who can't get an animal sitter. I love this place and my animals love this place and will continue to do business with them until they close.

I need a place to leave my dog while working during the day at our Roseburg office. A few weeks before I contacted them faxed all my dogs needed info so they had it on file. My dog loved his day of play. I am so happy I have found a place to leave my dog either for the day or to board while I am travel.

Adopter Beware! I recently adopted a 6 month old pup from…read morethe Oregon Coast Humane Society. A day or two later the dog was sneezing thick yellow mucus. when i called i was told maybe she was "just getting used to the new environment", but it was also mentioned that there was "some kennel cough going around" in the facility (why want i told before?). the puppy recovered, but by then my other (fully vaccinated) dog and my sons 2 dogs (including a 2 month old puppy) were all infected with this highly contagious illness. my 2 year old dog ended up the sickest, barely able to breath and not eating or drinking for several days, it took her a month to fully recover. meanwhile, we did the responsible thing (which the kennel should have done) and isolated all of our dogs so no others would suffer as mine had. I paid a higher than expected adoption fee ($500) but rationalized that it was for a good cause. however, i am now under the impression that this kennel gets shipments of dogs and puppies and after only a couple of days makes them available to go out into the community. makes me wonder if it's about turning their "inventory" quickly, even if it means starting a possible epidemic in their community? my dog was lucky, but if she'd been old or unhealthy she might not have made it through the illness. I would not adopt from here again nor would i bring an animal to this facility. ask a lot of questions and isolate any animal if you choose to adopt from there, because they don't do it for you! that being said the staff were all very nice, but they need a policy to isolate and observe for a month, rather than 2-3 days, in order to protect the animal community when they bring shipments of animals in
