Yelp lists this restaurant as closing at midnight on Saturdays, and the sign on the door says 11:00…read morePM. However, after we were seated on the patio, staff informed us that the kitchen closes at 10:00 PM, which was completely fine. Later, when they came by to ask if we wanted another round of drinks, we were told the bar also closes at 10:00 PM.. Around 10:15 PM, while we were still seated outside, staff locked the restaurant doors and turned off the lights while we were seated on the patio. Shortly afterward, a staff member told us we needed to leave and took our drinks, even though mine was still full. The issue isn't that the kitchen or bar closes at 10:00 PM--it's the lack of clear and consistent communication. If customers are expected to finish up and leave by 10:00 PM, that expectation should be clearly stated online, posted on the door, and communicated upfront when guests are seated. The current closing times are inconsistent and create a confusing and disappointing experience. Also the guac and margarita were lacking.

Great atmosphere and the music was great too a mix of everything. Customer service was good over all. To begin with this place is pretty big its more of outdoor place, but they do have 2 little indoor rooms which is pretty cute. Which they have a table and some chairs. The Bar is in the middle of the place surround by several food trucks and tables and high tables also. Totally different from any place in Downtown night life. The food and drinks are a little exorbitant but its kind of worth it. Not gonna lie the food is delicious , though the only thing I've tasted are the Gorditas de pollo. Moreover they also have games which my friends and I played. One is Bag Toss and Jenga those are the only games we saw maybe they had other ones inside the indoor rooms. we'll have to go again to check. Furthermore if y'all are looking for a great time and chill place come try this place out its worth y'alls time.

Anyway, the service was very good, friendly & attentive. We ordered the Pancho Villa nachos as an appetizer, and they were loaded & well served. My husband ordered the pork belly tacos, I think he wanted to cry; pobrecito. It wasn't pork belly. It was a piece of thick cut bacon that was extremely salty on a corn tortilla; pobrecito. I ordered the enchiladas suizas, the tomatillo sauce was tasty, but the whole dish was dry and barely any sauce on it, plus the beans were bland. The Chile relleno had good flavor. I think the most annoying thing about the experience was the music. The restaurant has tvs all around the bar with videos going on some & sports on another. At first, it was spanish music videos, and then all of a sudden, it seemed like a three year old got a hold of the remote (it was some waitress video surfing). She kept changing the music & videos from spanish to english & and vice-versa during mid-song. It was annoying because she even turned up the music while video surfing; it was crazy. You could say it was a bad experience & I won't be going back.

The shrimp didn't taste very fresh and weren't peeled well. The habanero sauce, however, was really good!! Delightfully spicy and well seasoned. Still would rate that dish about 3/10 at most only for the sauce. Very hard to get down for me, but my friends had better dishes. I tried my buddy's milanesa de res which was pretty good, if slightly over breaded. Pairs well with the potatoes. The rice served with this dish is perfect. We aren't always rice lovers but this serving was flawless - I could eat a bowl of it. Overall a 6.5/10 from me but my friend enjoyed! Our other friend had some tacos which were demolished so they must have been good. To me they didn't have a lot of filling but it was a reasonable amount. I also ordered the "salty dog" drink which I liked a lot, and it was on the weaker/less alcohol heavy side. They give you complimentary chips with little sauces that come with dipping spoons which I thought was a sweet touch. The music is a little loud on the patio but I've got old lady ears! It's a nicely decorated space and cozy.

This isn't just your regular chips and salsa situation. It's that molcajete style salsa and they got the GOOD GOOD. I could honestly come here just for the salsa alone. And of course, I have to get their mango margarita with the chamoy and tacos. It's a MUST. The soup, the salsa, the tacos, the margarita... this place just hits every single time.
