I had way less itching overall and significantly less pain immediately following surgery - likely because my left is not my dominant hand. However, I did have more sensitivity in the area (it basically feels like a sore ball on the bottom of your palm). It's been about 10.5 months post surgery and scar fade is excellent. I feel pretty confident putting my weight on my hands - I took a couple of falls during winter hiking season and was able to use my palms to help myself back up and everything was ok. My wrist flex is great - I reached out to my former weightlifting coach a few weeks ago because I feel ready to pick up a bar and get back to Oly. If you are on the fence about this surgery please just get it. I shake my head at how much my quality of life deteriorated over the last 4 years (legit having to wear pull on pants because I couldn't finagle a button closure) for a surgery that was so straightforward in the grand scheme of things. Also if you are brown skinned or otherwise prone to keloid scarring, the incision is flat and significantly faded. I predict within 5 years it will be invisible. I'm adding pics of the left hand. I have an appt with a Roth surgeon in two weeks but was in crisis mode and instead of taking a third admission to a regular hospital I tried Rothman urgent care. They were able to give me a cortisone injection into my scapula which immediately reduced my pain from a 10 to a six. I had no clue Rothman had urgent care but they actually have several locations including Marlton, Abington, Limerick and Hamilton. If you have an ortho issue I highly recommend over a traditional hospital. Very good to know this kind of urgent care exists.

I saw so many awesome reviews about this Dr. Katzman,Ortho Surgeon at Spine & Orthopedics Center. Thought I would give them a call ask questions and advised to send my MRI and Disc, notes so I did. To sum it all up, I got a call from Dr. Katzman, talked to me about my problem, and offered to see me, and consult me over the phone. Really, what Dr. would do that? With Dr. Katzman's phone call and his knowledge of my problem, I felt comfortable, and was ready to have this procedure done. Next phone call came from, NJ Spine and Orthopedics, Dr. Katzman's team of employees. They called to set up my appointment, got me scheduled and on the right track, which I could not afford this surgery even with my so called insurance. Few days later, another phone call from NJ Spine & Ortho Center, this time from (Ethan P) Senior Patient Advocate 973-788-5028 He works for Dr. Katzman's team. Ethan made it all possible, and easy to talk to. He helped with my financial part, as in the amount I would owe out of pocket, even as far as setting up payment arrangements, and to the surgery date. Ethan, was awesome, don't think I could have managed this without Ethan's and Admins help. My so far experience. I will do a follow up to this review after my surgery, stay tuned. I will then leave my phone # incase anyone would like to reach out to me for advice, on my experience. I have never heard of a Doctor calling their patients to talk about their concerns, without asking them come into the office for consultation, which then you have your office fee.

His kind demeanor was immediately reassuring to me. He explained the type of injury I had sustained and the procedure he was going to perform. The next day while performing his rounds he explained that considering how bad the break was the surgery was successful. The care I received for my follow-up visits was extraordinary. Dr. Hardeski and his team (Sherri , Amanda and Stephanie) went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and helped me keep a positive attitude while I healed. They answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. If I needed anything all I had to do was make a phone call. I am so thankful to Dr. Hardeski and his team. Said to me I can do this surgery but my colleague Dr. Hardeski takes on this kind of traumatic surgery with a high success ratio and was my best chance for recovery to get back to a normal life. When I got a chance to meet him. I said to him I herd your Dr. Strange who happened to be a super surgent that became a super hero. Even though he lookes a lot like Eyegore from Young Frankenstein. I didn't let that bother me to much. Because he was professional and was able to communicate to me on a blue collar level. He reconstructed my ankle back with 12 screws and 3 plates with a wink of an eye and was able to run right out to my car afterwards. But all joking aside I'm month ahead on my recovery time of 6 months to a year. Thank you Dr. Hardeski you are my Dr. STRANGE.

She is very thorough in her care of the patient and works on solving the problem rather than "band aiding" it. I have several debilitating issues which Dr Gribbin addressed in the past and present. I trust her knowledge and expertise in her beloved field of Comprehensive and Pain Management. Dr Gribbin's staff is also recommended for their tasks in the office - making one feel at ease, assisting a patient and tending to all the authorizations they have to deal with! Dr Gribbin also has on staff a Physical Therapist for her patients. The therapist is also well informative and has years of experience. I'm only sorry I did not know Dr Gribbin before moving to Hamilton - I probably would not be in the condition I am now.
