She is very thorough in her care of the patient and works on solving the problem rather than "band aiding" it. I have several debilitating issues which Dr Gribbin addressed in the past and present. I trust her knowledge and expertise in her beloved field of Comprehensive and Pain Management. Dr Gribbin's staff is also recommended for their tasks in the office - making one feel at ease, assisting a patient and tending to all the authorizations they have to deal with! Dr Gribbin also has on staff a Physical Therapist for her patients. The therapist is also well informative and has years of experience. I'm only sorry I did not know Dr Gribbin before moving to Hamilton - I probably would not be in the condition I am now.

Upon meeting with Dr. Gribbin and her staff I was given a clear and accurate diagnosis. I sought treatment for approximately 1-1/2yrs and the treatment I received was unique and proprietary. I was impressed with Dr. Gribbin's bedside manner, attention to detail, along with her staffs skilled attentiveness and professionalism. It seemed like something else was going on - if not, he was assuming things about me and my appointment that I was not privy to. He rushed me at every turn as I tried to explain my symptoms. He kept interrupting me, scoffing and rolling his eyes - to the extent that I at one point stopped talking and pointed out the eye-rolling. It clearly did not land for him that I was pointing out his expressions of literal contempt. As I said, it was all bizarre; I wish I had just walked out - but the visit was so short, he probably wouldn't have noticed that, either. When I described my symptoms and used terms a previous doctor had used, he again started the scoffing and eye rolling and mumbled that I was "self diagnosing again." I was literally describing symptoms, not saying "I clearly have _____" -- because I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG. I understand that he did not agree with my previous MDs and that's all well and good, but you don't belittle a patient for reporting. That's the most basic principle of patient care. He said something along the lines of "Well we are not going to figure this out today," again sounding annoyed - I was not expecting anything definitive and was literally there to get an informed opinion about ongoing symptoms. He kept assuming things about me that I was neither asking nor assuming. He expressed overt contempt via his tone and body language throughout this very brief visit and made it clear he was in a hurry to be somewhere else. I literally glanced at my phone before and after the visit, and I was in and out within 10 minutes: in my field, that would not count as the "long discussion" he of course put in my visit note (I presume so he could up-charge the visit, which was almost $800). Maybe he's good with a scalpel and hammer - bedside manner and basic communication skills, he is not. I would question his diagnostic skills, given how he handled our discussion.

After suffering a severely broken leg and being transported by ambulance to St. Mary Medical Center…read moreEmergency Room, I was introduced to Dr. Hardeski as my trauma surgeon. His kind demeanor was immediately reassuring to me. He explained the type of injury I had sustained and the procedure he was going to perform. The next day while performing his rounds he explained that considering how bad the break was the surgery was successful. The care I received for my follow-up visits was extraordinary. Dr. Hardeski and his team (Sherri , Amanda and Stephanie) went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and helped me keep a positive attitude while I healed. They answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. If I needed anything all I had to do was make a phone call. I am so thankful to Dr. Hardeski and his team. Through their knowledge, skills, care and encouragement they allowed me to walk again! Dr. Hardeski's team is an amazing group of professionals. I can't say it enough Dr. Hardeski is awesome, amazing and fantastic!

I was fortunate to have Dr. Cairone who put on my external fixator on. Said to me I can do this surgery but my colleague Dr. Hardeski takes on this kind of traumatic surgery with a high success ratio and was my best chance for recovery to get back to a normal life. When I got a chance to meet him. I said to him I herd your Dr. Strange who happened to be a super surgent that became a super hero. Even though he lookes a lot like Eyegore from Young Frankenstein. I didn't let that bother me to much. Because he was professional and was able to communicate to me on a blue collar level. He reconstructed my ankle back with 12 screws and 3 plates with a wink of an eye and was able to run right out to my car afterwards. But all joking aside I'm month ahead on my recovery time of 6 months to a year. Thank you Dr. Hardeski you are my Dr. STRANGE.

I'm baacckkkkk with an updated review. So I was seeing this practice for what became 2 things:…read morecarpal tunnel in both hands, and herniation of two disks in my neck - I was eventually recommended surgery for both. I decided to wait and wait and ultimately deal with them one at a time. For my hands I would come in every 3-4 months for injections and that would help for a while. But last year I woke every night with stabbing pain in my hands, numbness that I'd have to sit on the edge of the bed and shake out, couldn't hold my toothbrush or hairbrush, typing was painful. I couldn't grip my zipper to close my pants. I was wary of surgery for a lot of reasons: -the possibility it wouldn't work -what I'd give up during the recovery period -anticipatory fat bias in the medical encounter -scarring and keloids But one day I just said to myself, "I deserve better." I had surgery on my right hand in September 2024. It was a brutal first 5 days. But pain meds and rest helped. The worst part so far has been the itching lol but I guess that's proof that healing is happening. The total time to full restoration of hand ability is 6-12 months. I'm right at the 6 month mark and I'm impressed with the scar coloration, its flatness, and how I can put some of my body weight on my palm and not die from pain. My left hand responded well to my latest injection in September but if it starts acting up I'll do that one too. I know a common complaint about docs of this type is the push to surgical intervention. My doctor, Dr. Aida, was patient with me for almost 2 years, explained my options, and gave me the space to make an informed choice. Really good experience at this practice and I'm thrilled to be able to use my hand and sleep through the night again. Such an upgrade to my quality of life. P.S. I'm still terrified to get surgery on my neck. Until I'm less scared I'll continue to take pain meds and take frequent breaks away from my computer :( Healing gore below:

If you're afraid you did something to yourself that's going to require orthopedic care sooner rather than later, this is the place.
