If you're an American tourist looking for an appetizing Italian experience, but still have the cravings of an American... I think this is the place. But if you're looking for a truly authentic Italian restaurant, this is not for you. They have "americanized" style options for their lunch menu. I honestly came here looking for a burger or pizza that could meet my hopes of something hearty after being here for awhile and eating pasta almost every meal. My friends got the angus beef burgers. I tried some of theirs. If you're getting desperate for a burger, it'll keep you sane. However, the burgers are not the same. The beef is soft, but not tender... kind of hard to explain. But it's pretty typical to Italian beef. It's not quite like home, but it'll do. The pizza on the other hand was pretty good. I got a Capriccosa pizza... they loaded it up. It's tastes are Italian standard, but they give you generous portions of toppings, so I'd give it a 3.5! read more

Ducati Caffe was just what we needed in our last night in Paris, when we were no longer craving pasta and pizza, just wanted a burger (I know, don't judge). While the menu did have a long list of your typical Italian pastas, and both red and white pizzas, we went straight for the burger section which had quite a few selections. I went with the American Burger (Typical, I know), which came with cheddar cheese, double bacon, caramelized onions, and whiskey bbq sauce. I opted out of the onions and the burger was still deliciously fine. I like that the sauce came on the side, in case you wanted only a little or needed it for french fry dipping. My friends also had burgers, some with smoked cheese and sun-dried tomatoes, another with Parmesan cheese and beetroot mayo. Everyone seemed to love their burgers and the portion sizes were huge! The drink menu was pretty standard with a bunch of different cocktails, all reasonably priced. I'd definitely dine here again if I was every craving a little USA in Rome. read more

Fair prices. I tried the USA hamburger and it was not so good. Pretty dry meat and not so much BBQ-sauce. My son took a pizza and that was much better. The environment is good. Not too loud and it is fairly clean. The service was good so overall I can probably visit this place again. read more

Ducati Caffe has two locations for now, Rome and Seoul, with plans to open more in the USA and Middle East. I feel like it's the next Planet Hollywood. I walked in to Ducati Caffe at an awkward hour, too early for dinner and too starving for just cappucino or a drink. The happy hour buffet was just getting started. Now that seems to be the great deal here. A table full of snacks such as chicken and sliders to go along with your booze of choice. We ordered from the dinner menu after a little confusion and then all was fine. What was served at Ducati Caffe was typical fare but also with some surprising spins. We got the rigatoni with pig jowls (excellent as the tomato sauce was not too sour or sweet and the jowls gave the dish a crunchy texture) and gnocchiette di giordano bufalo tomato, eggplant sauce, and rucola. The gnocchiette was lovely- tiny gnochhi covered in smoky pureed eggplant. I did enjoy the salad mixed in. Felt healthy. The motorcycle suspended on the wall was the most impressive for me about Ducati Caffe. It was massive, sleek, and a thing of beauty. It reminded me of one of my dreams, that I always wanted to ride a motorcycle or Vespa through Rome. So captivating, I kept staring at the motorcycle on our way out and as we walked further and further away from Ducati Caffe. Ducati Caffe is extremely contemporary. It's in between a cafe, a bar, and a high end restaurant. It was very quiet when we went. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. I hear they have live bands from time to time. Maybe that'd be interesting but i doubt I'd return. If you actually like motorcycles or racing, this is not the place. I went there the first day of MotoGP and was told they would have the race on and it was the place to be. I thought, "Ducati bar in Italy for MotoGP?! Fun!!!" We got there over an hour early, they had some pre race coverage on and told us the race would start soon. It never did... I watched on my phone, turns out they didn't subscribe to the MotoGP channel, Sky. They didn't know until half way thru the race... Food was okay, waiters nice but they aren't motorcycle people, just a warning if you like motorcycles. read more

There are both branded merchandice and modern decor. Inside its a different story. The accustic is real bad. Hard surfaces all over the place. The noise level tonight were almost unbeable, it were relatively early for rome so it wasnt drunk people. Just real high background noise in a place were the design are a mess The service were a mess. Long waiting time to order, the food came real fast but were only partly cooked. And then a long wait to get the bill. After getting the bill we lost it after waiting 25 min to pay and went to the bar to pay, just to be ignored by the staff. The menu looks real good and we were kind of excited when we came. The waither. Sadly explained that we could only choose between pizzas and burgers. The to least exciting itims on the menu. Felt like being in some parts of africa were the large menus are only for show. The pizzadough were precooked. Never ok in my book. The topping were boring and the pizza had only been in the oven for a short time. The cheese were only part melted. Felt cheated. Went to rome and got a pizza that almost any pizza joint in Denmark could have made better. I love the place and I love it mostly at Lunch. In the center of Rome a place neither too formal nor informal. Great food with a very good wine list sold by glass. Everyday a special and menu changed sesonally. Speed service if you're in a hurry, but you can spend hours enjoy the place and doing your business meeting at any time of the day. Fun spot for the motorcycle enthusiast! Ducatis outside, by your table, on the wall... even purchased a couple of espresso cups to take home. They have a full menu, espresso bar and gelato. The food was average, definitely not true Roman. Had some American influence (which I get enough of at home). Overall a fun, novel experience. Glad I stopped by but probably won't visit again. read more

Extremely disappointed, stopped here for a light lunch and to use the restroom. The first thing that I disliked about this place is the restrooms. There was a glass door into the washroom and then a solid door for the water closet. Neither of them had a lock OR a latch so they wouldn't stay closed. The toilet seat was crack and there was no water or soap in the restroom. The second thing was the 30 minute wait time for our food. It was getting ridiculous and right as we were about to get up and leave or food came. The third thing was the food itself, we split a dish of ravioli that was undercooked and tough and definitely not fresh. Awful service, and undercooked food. Its very great experience here, freshly squeezed orange juice. & good place to hangout for bikers and family. we rented bike here and rode to Amalphi. My husband and I were passing by this restaurant yesterday and taking a look of their menu outside. And this guy (I think he is a host or server) came up to us and started to explain the menu and asked us to come into the restaurant. But it was just nearly the noon time and we were not that hungry yet so I refused him politely saying we are not hungry so will come back after the tour. And the guy suddenly had this "crazy eyes" (yes. I'm serious) and kicked me on my knee and started swearing to us saying go away and the f word. It all just happened too fast that we couldn't react to him and we just kept walking maybe a block passing by this restaurant. And then we realized this is very wrong so turned around and went back to the restaurant and took picture of this guy. The guy came up to us again what was my problem so I said you kicked my knee and he said that he NOT KICK with broken English (come on you serious). So Please stay away from this restaurant and the guy unless you actually plan to eat here. read more

So, it's time for the first review in English! :) Do you know the famous Italian motor-scooter brand? I'm sure you know it! Well, imagine to eat close to one of this "wonderful" motor-scooter..I mean, I don't care because I'm not interested in motor-scooter but if you have this kind of passion it should be satisfying. I use to go here for lunch with one of my best Roman friend that made me discover this wonderful restaurant. So, if You're in the city centre close to Piazza Venezia or close to Via Vittorio Veneto it's the perfect place where to eat Italian recipes. It has modern furniture (that to be honest I don't like too much) and the staff is always kind and ready to give you suggestion about what to eat and what kind of wine to get if you love "vino Italiano". The prices are quite good for the area and then you can taste a real Italian CARBONARA (not with cream!! but with real eggs, that kind of things that chickens use to make) :) So, let's try it! read more
