I wanna thank everyone at Dubz, especially, Kayla and Tia for helping us in celebrating my parents 70th wedding anniversary. I spoke with Kayla a few weeks ago, discussed what I wanted to do, followed up with her this last Wednesday, finalized the order and they were able to set up some tables for the ten of us, and another table for our food. All of the food was excellent, we ordered the pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, street corn, green beans, mac & cheese, and the beans, everything was ready for us, everything was hot and tasty! Thanks again!! read more

No kidding... this was the best coleslaw and cornbread I have had in my life. Pulled pork and pulled chicken were great quality with so many BBQ sauces to choose from. Hard to say which one was best. The wings are also smoked, and it took eating a wing before I got used to the smoked taste with buffalo sauce. After that... amazing! George the owner and Angelina, our server, were the absolute best as well, making you feel right at home. read more

Dubz BBQ - 2 orders of the Pick 2 Meat Platters. Pulled chicken, pulled pork, coleslaw, cornbread, brisket chili, and collard greens. - Barbeque Near Me - North Port, Florida

If you're in North Port and haven't been to Dubz BBQ yet, you're seriously missing out. From the moment you walk in, you can smell the wood-smoked goodness. The brisket? Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The ribs? Perfectly cooked. The sides aren't an afterthought either--everything complements the meat perfectly. You can tell there's pride in every plate that comes out of that kitchen. On top of that, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first time in. No frills, just great food and great people. Bottom line: If you love real BBQ, Dubz is a must-try. I'll definitely be back... probably sooner than I should be. read more

I've had the brisket, beans and Mac n cheese twice here. Both times delivered. Food is good, I'll eat here again. Just feel that Mission BBQ is a bit better on the Brisket but this is definitely good. Give it a try! read more

Wednesday, October 1, our Charlotte County Girlfriends and Dining Divas enjoyed a leisurely lunch at DUBZ BBQ OF NORTH PORT! George (proprietor), and his team were more than accommodating to our ladies! DUBZ BBQ, has an extensive menu with wings, smoke chicken, delicious pull pork, out of this world "brisket" with flavors and spices and so much more. Baby back ribs, St.Louis Ribs falling off the bone, moist & rich in flavor. Their sides are tremendously huge and complements each dish. GIRLFRIENDS who enjoyed our experience, your comments are appreciated on your delightful lunch! Thank you, George & DUBZ BBQ team for taking great care of our group. Haven't been to DUBZ BBQ, you NEED too set a date ! 5 stars read more

Bbq at its finest. They have the usual bbq items but everything was so good. Employees were very friendly and patient as we decided on our order. Baby back ribs were fall off the bone. Tender and flavorful. Brisket was out of this world. Pulled chicken was actually chicken pulled off the bone not shredded. Quarter chicken was a must have. Corn bread came with the platter. Homemade with real corn. Baked beans have brisket in it as well as peppers. Authentic Homemade food. read more

Tammers special was very good but pretty small. Mac and cheese bites were ok I prefer the hush puppies those were great. Burgers are solid. Wings have good flavor. Nachos w pulled pork were good and came with a lot of meat but the chips were a bit stale. Got it to go and would order again but wouldn't eat inside. Smelled like a dirty bathroom. read more

Great barbecue place! Enjoyed the food and bar atmosphere! Wings were delicious. I'll be back!

Me and my wife went last night and it was amazing. It was the best BBQ I have had in Florida. I had the 2 meat platter with chicken and pulled pork, hush Puppies and great coleslaw. My wife had the brisket sandwich with cheese added and a side of Mac and cheese. The sandwich needed BBQ sauce but she loved the mac and cheese. We had a lot of leftovers. The total was $62 with tip. We both had a drink each. I can't remember last time I had a meal this good. I will be back soon. The only thing I regret is not finding this restaurant sooner. read more

Good experience - good service, and pulled pork sandwiches and tater tots! Definitely returning here

Great food great service see Adam Saturday mornings watch all the games plenty of TVs !!

Service was bad, all three waitresses had 4 tables a piece and were serving as if I was a bother. Sunday 1-2pm 04/12/2026 by the way, the wings came out wrong. No refund and no remake offered. Then I get home and this sad plate of pork belly burnt ends is what I opened up. I wish I had something good to say man.. but what the heck. read more

Dubz BBQ - Pork belly burnt ends and moist brisket. - Barbeque Near Me - North Port, Florida

Started off with ease of making reservations for a party of seven. Nice greeting at the door, fast service of water and appetizers. Good thing as we were starving! Must say that Vanessa was an excellent server. Always with a smile! Food was excellent across the board. The cornbread was the best anyone had ever had. Smoked chicken wings, baked only or baked and fried were superb. Designated bonus, they have a separate prep & cooking area for gluten-free people. Ambience was more like a sports bar with at least eight large TVs! Bar area looked substantial. Beef brisket was perfect. Buffalo cauliflower was smoky and very spicy! Fried pickles were very good but could be improved. Overall, this is a fun experience and casual, but nice environment. Be prepared to get a little messy eating this food, but it is worth it! read more

My friend took me to Dubz BBQ while I was in town. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table as they were busy on a Friday night. I ordered the brisket dinner and chose mac and cheese and Mexican corn as my sides. We also received a piece of jalapeno cornbread. The brisket was tender and juicy. I dipped it in the mustard vinegar sauce which was my fave. The mac and cheese was creamy and delicious! The corn was good but not the best I've tried. The cornbread was moist and even though it had jalapeno, it was not spicy. We topped off dinner with banana pudding. Yummy! I had a few bites and took the rest home. If you like BBQ, give Dubz a try. read more

I've been across this country eating BBQ as I've filmed commercials. I must say, Florida is the last place I would have suspected to have undeniably great BBQ. Dubz is that place. You can't beat the brisket. Not that round slicked brisket but a man's cut. Lots of flavors the burnt ends are like candy for the soul. Perfection in every savory bite. Let's talk pork- it's hard to mess up but it's also hard to nail effortlessly. Kudos Dubz. Moist and Smokey with incredible seasoning. Sides aren't to shabby. Would love to see some savory cowboy beans and a more tasty sausage but a guy can dream. The service is great! Your drink stays full and plates cleaned! The ambiance is just fine for a great BBQ joint! read more

Dubz of North Port is outstanding Bar-B-Q! I am partial to the baby back ribs, slow cooked fall off the bone ribs and the brisket is fabulous lean or moist. Great variety of sauces and a full bar and loads of TVs. Great place. read more

The food is fabulous. Service is friendly. Ambiance is homey. You will not get tired of eating at this place.

BBQ is one of my favorite foods and Dubz is fairly average. The problem is they're cheating their customers. We take out ordered a pound of pulled pork and a pound of smoked chicken. We got 10.3oz of chicken and barely 11oz of pork. We called and were told a manger would call back shortly. No one did. This wasn't our first takeout order at seemed light but we verified at this time and didn't get about 40% of what we ordered. Edit - George, the manager reached out and made it right. We got a do- over on those two meats and this time they were spot on. The meat was better as well, so maybe the kitchen just had an off night. Thanks George! Also had the corn and that was good too read more

Kids loved the ribs. Good food. My folks love it too. It's my go to for online gift cards for Mom & Dad.

Brisket sandwich with creamy coleslaw is always good. Also love the French fries loaded with cheese and brisket. Service is friendly. Sundays during football it's loud with lots of TVs read more

The owner was present and engaged but the food for me was truly forgettable. This is not good bbq and doubt they smoke their own meats? Usually brisket has a nice salty after taste from the fat being rendered down but nothing. Just really bland brisket. Bbq sauce options were good and used that sauce to cover up the lack of flavor. Don't get me started on the cornbread. It wasn't sweet at all and took one bite and threw it out. With high reviews I would have thought I would have scored better bbq. read more

We did take out. We have been there many times. Ambience is good. Servers is good food good

Very good. Little pricy but delicious. Great sauces. My 2nd favorite place for BBQ around. Highly recommended. Only 4 because the 5 goes somewhere else. But still a 5 for food :) read more

Dubz is completely different than when I first reviewed it a few years ago. It is now a full restaurant serving a myriad of barbecue dishes and specialties. They also provide a take out and delivery service. The ambience is moderate, wait staff are pleasant and helpful and the decor is simple and family oriented. Dubz has a full bar. Our party of six chose a variety of of selections, my wife and I chose the Butchers block for two, it was plentiful filled with sausage, brisket, chicken, corn bread and absolutely delicious. Everyone in our party was impressed with their selections. This spot is a must on your bucket list if your a BBQ enthusiast. read more

Really good food. Pulled pork phenomenal and with so many BBQ sauces to choose from. Hard to say which one was best.

Delicious food! Can't wait to come back. We tried a few different things and we loved all the food. The flavor was on point for everything!! I personally loved the green beans the most. It is by far one of the best. The prices are reasonable, although it is extra for brisket and burnt ends. The service was very good. My husband is picky about his potato salad and didn't know if he would like it or not. He asked the server questions about it but decided not to get it. Our server went above and beyond, she got him a small sample of the potato salad with our food! I would describe the atmosphere of this place as a midscale sports bar. Not a fancy place, but not crazy like a sports bar. They have a few big screens but even with a full restaurant it's not so loud that you can't have a conversation. read more

2nd time eating their food. First time was great - this time not so much. The good: coleslaw, potato salad, mac n cheese, the sauce, and the flavor of both the brisket and the spareribs. The bad: our brisket was not sliced across the grain (see photo), which made it stringy - that is barbecue malpractice. The ribs were falling off the bone a bit too much, as they were basically mushy from being wrapped too long. The cornbread was weird and overcooked too. Cmon folks, I know you know how to make barbecue. Just keep an eye on the quality control. read more

Food is pretty good. The service is just so hit or miss. If you're a regular, you're taken care of without question.
