Great park. Limited parking and area availability. If you can't find parking at the park, then go around to the beach parking and walk over to the park. This park area is still new enough to not be overcrowded. This summer it will prob be crazy. Beautiful views, great weather, great area to chill in the water. BBQ it up!

The water is shallow and clear. It's such a beautiful clean park with public restrooms and easy parking. Plenty of covered areas lifeguard stations. It's absolutely beautiful.

Awesome public park adjacent to Jupiter inlet with great amenities (beach access, free parking, public restrooms, outdoor shower stands). Not only with view of the ocean, the intercostal canal and the lighthouse, the park features a lagoon surrounded by mangroves which is great for family with children and wade fishing. We were lucky to see stingray, sea turtle and a family of 3 manatees. We caught and released some pufferfish as well.

This is not Miami! Great place to enjoy the family, soft music and fun. It is must to come early if you're looking for a prime location in the shade. I recommend bringing a nice size pop up tent for refuge from the sun. B-B-Ques are all over and a small walk to the beach ocean is 10 minutes away.

The best free/public Oceanside park in the WPB/ Jupiter area. Located off of the intracoastal canal, it's well kept up and has a small backwater estuary with mangroves as well as a view of the open ocean and the canal water mixing together. Plenty of fishing is available off of the shore here and wade fishing can be seen as well. Super kid friendly and with plenty of parking and public restrooms. We got the chance to see some wild manatees chilling by the water, which was a treat.

4-7-23 Came here specifically to see the Historic home that is listed on the National Registry. My friend and I are members of the Historical Society where we live and I knew she would love it. Once we entered the park I was so surprised it was free. We are truly so lucky here in Florida with so many diverse and wonderful parks for everyone to enjoy. We parked again no cost and walked over to the shoreline and sat on the benches and watched every one enjoying the water and swimming. Than we walked out to the inlet to see the fishing. The waves were rough and it was very windy so we held on tight to our hats. Note you get a nice view of the Jupiter Lighthouse that is located across the water. After we climbed the stairs to the house that the park is named after. Was surprised it had original windows and glass. Amazing how well built to survive the many hurricanes that have hit Florida. They have guided tours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

I want to put zero stars so that no one comes to this hidden oasis. There are multiple picnic tables and benches, an inlet to swim, and places to fish. There are gorgeous views of the ocean and the lighthouse. It's one of my favorite places. The only issue I have is it's not always well maintained due to dogs and visitors. It sometimes looks very worn down with broken trees and litter. They're trying to maintain the sand as well.

We went on a windy, cold day sadly. But even if we couldn't go in the water, the nature and wildlife around this park is amazing and the views are perfect. Would definitely recommend.

For years I have visited Jupiter, Dubois Park was a ghost to me until a family friend mention that the take their kids there. Dubois Park entrance is tuck in a neighborhood which unless you are familiar with its location, one will miss the turn. Dubois Park is one of the largest beach parks in Jupiter located adjacent to the Jupiter inlet. The park offers boating, swimming, featuring fishing, picnicking and other activities all in a beautiful scenic setting. They are also strict on safety for children; alcohol is prohibited inside the park. Our first visit was late morning during the high season and unfortunately the parking lots were full. But finally visited the park off high season and enjoyed the wonderful scenic views and facilities. Overall, this is a magnificent park right in the mouth of Jupiter Inlet with incredible views of the Jupiter Lighthouse. Most definitely worth a visit.

I came here to visit the historic DuBois Pioneer House but if I had known how beautiful this park was I would have brought my bathing suit, book, and beach chair. In addition to having a house from 1898 the park gives you a stunning view of the Jupiter Lighthouse. The park is 18.69 acres with 1,200 feet of beach area on the intracoastal and another 100 feet of lagoon. There is so much to do at this park. Besides visiting the historic home and swimming you can snorkel, launch a canoe or kayak out to the Loxahatchee River, salt water fish outside the swimming area, or picnic in the grass picnic area. There is a playground, picnic pavilions, restrooms, and showers. Balloons are prohibited in the park to protect sea turtles. Right now it is free to park here but starting in March Palm Beach Parks and Recreation will be charging $10 to park on holidays and weekends. It will be $20 if you aren't from Palm Beach County. The price increase is to be used to provide safety and maintenance of the park. Parks and Recreation maintains that the fee is necessary and that there are still other free beaches in Jupiter. The parking increase will affect my decision to visit the park and will probably price a lot of families out of being able to use the park.

So...when we first arrived to the park we saw the body of water that looked dark and almost muddy. We drove over an hour to check out this picturesque "beach" and when we arrived at around 11am we were disappointed with the view. However, after we setup our umbrellas and chairs, took a short walk deeper in the water--at the time knee high was the deepest it would get no matter how far back we walked. Eventually we walked back to our chairs and saw some hermit crabs in the water which kids loved to try and "catch". At around 1pm the tide came in! And the beach literally transformed to this beautiful blue picturesque scene we were promised. At this time there were many people arriving so word of advice, arrive early to secure your spot and wait patiently for the tide to come in. There were also BBQ areas with some tables as well as showers to rinse off from the saltwater and sand.

Talk about a park with so many different things to do. Perfect view of boats going in and out of the inlet. Area to look at the lighthouse and places for people to fish. The place is super busy on weekends so I would definitely skip going on weekends. There are grills for you to use, you just have to get there early if you expect to get one. There are police that patrol so it feels very safe. If you have children and want to get them comfortable with the ocean/water. COME HERE. It is a phenomenal place to get them comfortable with water and sea life. During low tide you can walk all the way back in the park and it's very easy to watch them. There is sand for them to play in and many different areas to swim. You can see a ton of fish swimming in and out which is fun for the kids to look at. If you want to go to the beach it is about a 2 minute walk from the park. There is so many things to do here and it is definitely worth going. I heard that on holidays they will start charging for parking but I recommend not going at those times because it is way too busy. The bathrooms are a little dirty but for public park standards it is pretty good. If you have a boat you can pull up to the designated marina and park and walk around the area! Great place for families and for fishing!

    Pier, some beautiful wildlife.

A cute park with some very great history if you choose to go into the DuBois Pioneer Home. If you just want to walk it's a beautiful walk on the pier. They have benches to sit on, or if you want to grill they have options for that as well. Cute birds, you can go in the water. I loved DuBois Park.

I loved that it offers so many activities in one place--kayaking, paddleboarding, the beach, picnic areas, a gift shop, and educational exhibits--all at very reasonable prices. Parking was only $5, and the kayak and paddleboard rentals were affordable too. Unfortunately, I happened to visit on a day with an extremely low tide. Paddleboard rentals were suspended, but kayak rentals were still available. The staff did warn us about the low tide and advised us to stay near the edges to avoid getting stuck. However, as someone new to kayaking, I didn't realize just how much the tide would impact the experience. For a large portion of our trip, the water was so shallow that our kayaks constantly got stuck. We had to repeatedly get out and drag them through the water. At times, the water wasn't even ankle deep. I completely understand that the staff can't control the tides, but I honestly wish kayak rentals had also been paused that day because the conditions made it difficult to really enjoy the experience. By the time we finished kayaking, we were exhausted and felt pretty gross from walking through the murky water, so we ended up skipping the beach altogether. Outside of that, the park itself looked lovely. There was a nice picnic area, a cute gift shop, and they even had a rescued sea turtle with a volunteer sharing information about sea turtle conservation, which was a really nice touch. There also appeared to be several educational exhibits throughout the park, although they happened to be closed during our visit. One downside was a pretty unpleasant smell near the gift shop, but I'm guessing that may have also been related to the unusually low tide. Despite my experience, I haven't written the park off. The photos I've seen online make it look absolutely beautiful, and I think we were just unlucky with the timing. I'd definitely consider coming back on a day with higher water levels to give it another chance. It sounds like a great park overall--I just recommend checking the tide conditions before planning to kayak or paddleboard so you can enjoy it at its best.
