I made it abundantly clear when scheduling that I would need to be given Oxytocin in the event of complications which I was told 'of course, no problem!'. I took her on February 9th, received her radiographs and was then made to wait about 25 minutes where they could 'see about the prescription'. Once I was given it, I went through Chewy to order it (on February 9th) and staff neglected to approve the request for two entire days full well knowing Bay was due on Friday, February 13th and I stressed it's importance. I made phone calls, sent texts and was told a doctor would get back to me. I then was told it was my responsibility to upload the script to Chewy (which I couldn't find anyway) - which I then contacted Chewy and was told that was incorrect and they had been waiting for my vet approval this entire time, Chewy even called them and received no response. Regardless if I had the script or not, it was not my responsibility and the office did not prioritize my pregnant dog nor her puppies. I eventually was contacted on February 11th around 4pm by the practice manager who told me her staff did not feel comfortable prescribing the medication anymore after I spent $400 on the vet visit and now wasted two days. Fast forward February 12th - Bay goes into labor and as I expected, needs assistance from the drug; but I do not have it because Doylestown Vet had my hands tied and denied my dog the care she needed for a successful labor. I make an emergency trip to the ER (an additional $900 expense) she delivers 3 deceased puppies and 3 living puppies. We head home and now her labor is stalled again and the ER asked me to use the Oxytocin my vet should have responsibility prescribed me as standard repro practice. But here I am, unprepared because Doylestown chose ignorance over the reality of whelping puppies. I understand vet school and ethics, but if you care for some field experience, there's a big reality check here at my house because of your lack of concern for myself, my dog and her puppies. Shame on you for putting me in this position, stalling to tell me you had a change of mind about my dog's care, and then running down the clock so I had limited options on how to proceed finding her the care she needed. Edited to add, we are now a week out from Bay's delivery and I have had zero follow up from this practice. Ethics? I don't think so.

After I initially emailed them, I received a timely response from the owner, Walt, who setup a complimentary consultation with me. He arrived on time at my apartment, met my pugs, discussed his business and my future needs, then left me with paperwork to complete before the first dog-sitting visit. He was nice and professional. His company is also insured, so that was a bonus during my decision-making process. Walt has over a dozen employees who do dog walking/sitting, and I was assigned Kerryann who has been wonderful! I loved that I had a dedicated dog walker instead of getting a different person each time. Make sure you schedule services in as far advance as possible because they do book up. If you're a last minute person, or just knowing that sometimes things come up last minute, it may be a good idea to have a backup dog walker. That's what I did, and it worked well when unexpected trips or activities came up. Kerryann came to my apartment for a complimentary consultation as well! She watched my pugs many times when I took weekend and week-long trips back and forth to OK/TX for 6 months. She always sent me a daily text to let me know how the pugs have eaten along with their bathroom schedule (like who pooped and peed when, good detail for tracking). Sometimes she would send pictures! They are very flexible, so if you need plants watered, mail checked, daily dog pics (I didn't need them daily), that's all included with their visit fee. Their prices are comparable to local competitors ($20 for two dogs per visit), and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the staff. I highly recommend if you need a trustworthy dog-sitter in the area!

They provide transportation for your pet to and from their boarding stay and even provide daily pictures of your pet via text. We were very happy with the arrangements until, in the middle of our vacation, we were told that our dog had an episode of weakness and was rushed to our vet whose information we provided at booking. Andrew stayed with our pet and transported him to the overnight Emergency vet for observation. Everything turned out fine and Andrew picked up our pet to finish his stay. Andrew went out of his way and not only did everything for our pet that we could have done, but he also kept us informed and comforted. However, we were less than impressed as new guests upon arrival. The staff was not as welcoming and the expectation that was set while making the reservation fell pretty flat. We decided to try the resort one additional time because of the amount of positive reviews, but the second time also left us in disappointment. It was extremely difficult to get through to anyone when calling to check on our dogs. When making my reservation, I was told there would be communication about how our dogs were doing. This has not happened, so we tried to call, but the phones are not answered. I received no response to my voicemail or emails while I was traveling. The report cards that we received were duplicates even though our dogs have very different personalities. One of our dogs came home not feeling well, although his report card said he was "rambunctious". I hesitated before writing this very honest review because I may give the resort one additional opportunity to change my perspective. I have attached a copy of each duplicated report card that was received for my dogs as well as the email that was left without a response. Consideration should really be given to the offerings that are promised if there is not capacity to provide quality results/products.
