I had two very bad prior experiences and was very frustrated with contractors. For the job that we had him do - remodeling bathroom, finishing and painting the hallways, and fixing hard wood floor, I had 6 quotes, and decided to use him based on his knowledge at the estimate, price, and very good online rating on service magic ( I didn't get him through service magic, though). He was recommended by the person who sold us the shower enclosure. We had to wait 3 weeks before he could come to work for us, but the wait was completely worth it! He and his crew were very polite, hard working, and cleaned after themselves each day. He also found an additional problem that we had with our toilet which we were not aware of and fixed it for us, saved us hundreds of dollars and hassle down the road. The end product of their work is amazing. The bathroom is beautiful and the hallway became the best painted area of the house. It is night and day compared to our prior contractors from Philadelphia.
