I am soooo glad I found this coffee shop- it's sort of tucked away down 162nd street. I ordered a chai latte.. it was made sooo tasty! I finished it almost immediately. The service was very fast and friendly. This place also makes fresh croissant and bagels, as well as other pastries for you to enjoy. They play nice soft music in the background and have comfortable seating both indoors and outdoors. They also have wifi during the week so it's a nice spot to stop by

Lovely place. Clean, neat, good music playing. I got myself a matcha horchata with oat milk. Totally awesome. GET YOU ONE ! also a cheddar chive biscuit. Looked dry but I'm a cheese lover and gave it a try. A TOTAL GEM ! eyes are deceiving I must say. My new favorite spot when I want to shy away from big chain companies if you catch my drift.

My family had coffees, which they enjoyed. Cafe mocha was excellent. I had the chicken pesto sandwich which was also excellent.

My wife got me a birthday cake from Salswee and I ate the whole thing. Not out of obligation. Not to be nice. Because it was genuinely that good. The cake was light in a way that most cakes are not. Fluffy texture, almost delicate, nothing dense or heavy about it. Inside there were mango pieces throughout and the top was finished with sliced fresh mango and a cream frosting that did not overpower anything. Every component worked together without any one element taking over. What got me most was how I felt after eating it. You know that heavy, bloated feeling you get after a slice of traditional birthday cake? That did not happen here. I finished the whole cake and felt completely fine. That alone says something about what they are working with. If you are in the area and you want something that actually delivers on flavor without wrecking you afterward, Salswee is absolutely worth trying. One of the best birthday cakes I have ever had and I did not even think I liked birthday cake.

I ordered the orange, mango and mushroom suisse. There was a bit of a wait for the orders but it wasn't too bad. The cakes were secure in mini boxes and everything was packed into a nice paper tote bag for take out. The desserts were very delicate upon first glance but also easy to break apart (so things got a bit messy). The orange dessert had a more mellow and lighter flavor compared to the mango one. It had a orange mandarin jam center covered with a vanilla cream layer. I didn't really care too much for the chocolate rice crisp bottom layer. The leaves were maybe peppermint though if it was mint then that would make the whole dish edible. The mango dessert was sweeter than the orange one. The mango jam filling was sweet and had a few pieces of mango that were a bit sour but didn't take away from the overall sweet mango flavor. The cream covering the jam must've also been mango flavored. I really liked the mushroom suisse! I reheated it in the microwave for a bit before eating it. I loved the crispy exterior as it contrasted well with the softness of the puff pastry middle. The mushroom filling was also tasty as it reminded me a bit of cream of mushroom soup. I'll be giving their other savory pastries a try during my next visit. FYI, if posting on socials for the complimentary pastry, do so before ordering.

I am a fan of the pandan flavor desserts and bought two that I wanted to try. One being a roll cake and the other layer cake. The pandan roll cake with taro I was told is a specialty that they only have on weekends. It was really flavorful, moist and spongy, just perfectly touched with a dash of sweetness in both the cake and the cream - I personally don't like overly sweet foods, and this is just perfect for me and my mom. I'm equally pleased with the layer cake as well it was very fresh and have that "QQ" texture - deliciously chewy and bouncy. This too, just hit right for me on the gentle sweetness, the pandan flavor keeping the spotlight in this dessert. My mom and I are big fans of these desserts. We just came back trying out others pandan layer cakes in Downtown Flushing and this shop beats them by a large margin. I hope to come back more when we could even though this shop is quite a distance for us.

The pastries and breads had a perfect texture, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every item. The bakery itself is clean and welcoming, making it a pleasant place to browse and enjoy treats. Overall, Shinpuru Baking delivers top-quality baked goods and excellent service. I'll definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves fresh, tasty pastries.

The first bite you knew exactly what you just got ripped off for. The staff, was rude. "The ingredients are flown in from Europe and the cookies are handmade in the city" are you sure? "do you think I'm lying?" With an attitude? Well. Yes. In fact do less. Because if the ingredients are flown in from Europe they should know what they're doing with them because these my dear are from the continental cookie company. But don't bark at me when it's the single most dry cookie I've ever attempted to eat. The raspberry jam was so artificial. For 43.00 a pound at least get GOOD bulk cookies. Because for an employee to be as nasty and defensive but have an answer for everything? Just say you were wrong and move on, nope you wanted to argue. Brunette, glove on, to serve the dry cookies, only to then touch the lids with said glove between. Took cash while wearing glove, made change (23.00 for 5 small cookies and 2 small coffees) and then with the same hand put the cookies in a bag, while with the glove fiddling with stickers to close the bag. 7.50+ each for small coffees (one latte one cappuccino) neither made properly. An amalgamation of crumpled sugar packets that look like they'd been taken from other establishments stuffed in a small tin on the counter. You want to be some form of Parisian patisserie? Pretend better. Over priced and the entire case looks awful and if you're going to employ people who would rather play on their phone than do their job? At least make sure they can be composed. The young blonde was polite and kind throughout, the dark haired employee? Thankyou for telling us you're not the owner, because the owner should really evaluate your customer service.
