Very professional and pleasant. The company is pretty responsive and clear. Overall a good experience although they left the card reader so I had to go downstairs to withdraw cash. I used DTV because I needed to drill screws into a concrete wall. They sent one person over and did it within an hour. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. One of the least professional companies I have ever dealt with. Nothing was installed properly. Light switches, projector, projector screen, doorbell intercom system; everything was screwed up. The kicker was they got plaster on the projector screen during the installation. Have not repaired or replaced it. Stopped responding to emails and the job wasn't even finished. Unbelievable. I would not recommend these guys for anything. read more

Amazing service. Purchased my TV installation for a 40" Samsung through Amazon. The service was timely and professional. They provided their own wall mount for me even though I had one of my own. Also included an HDMI cable for me. Twas a a nice gesture. I was a little apprehensive of them drilling so many holes because I was just expecting them to cover my cords instead of hiding them in the wall. But the installer mentioned they would be able to patch up the holes for me if my building super gave me any problems or extra fees. Not sure if this service was complimentary though. Overall, everything looks super clean, and I had a great experience. I'd book them again for when I move apartments in a year or so. read more

I was amazed by the professionalism, response times and knowledge of the DTV team. I reached out to them and they came to my apartment to do a consultation, then they prepared an estimate and were very patient with multiple change requests on our end. When we finally settled on the project scope they conducted the installation on a timely and efficient way, completing the project very close to budget and on time. I was dreading this project because I had bad experiences with other vendors in the past, with them my expectations were exceeded and I will recommend them to anyone looking to complete an AV installation project. read more

DTV Installations - Speakers, we had 4 of them installed and wired. - Home Theatre Installation Near Me - New York, New York

Dan and Daniel showed up on time and did an incredible install. Good service is hard to find, they were the 3rd different 4-5 star company I called, the prior 2 that arrived at my house did not have the right tools and one came solo, tough to hang a 65 inch tv by yourself. None of the others displayed confidence they could hang the tv on a very thin (2 inches thick) plaster wall. The others wanted to go fully through the wall to anchor and hide the anchors that would be in my bedroom with a mirror. One of the 'other' guy's first drill hole went through the wall completely so now I have to Spackle and repaint my bedroom wall which was just painted. Dan and Daniel walked in, immediately took off their shoes, confidently said hanging the tv would be no issue. 4 bolts later, tv and sonos playbar perfectly mounted and centered. They also helped my indecisiveness by providing advice on best way to proceed to hide wires etc. You get what you pay for. I will use DTV for all future installations, especially if I ever buy a house, etc. Great job and thank you. read more

DTV is great company from start to finish, always very punctual with the appointments, always answering the phone calls. John came over to my apartment provided free written estimate, and did free consultation. After that they worked with our budget and needs, and revise the estimate couple times. They supplied all of the equipment much less expensive then any big buck store, delivered it for free and did professional installation with one year warranty. Now I am enjoying my beatiful motorized shades, 7.2 home theater system, and complete control home automation system. Thank you John for all good work. read more

Professional and Exceptional quality service. These gentlemen arrived and got right down to to business. They mounted my TV and cleaned up afterwards. I was so impressed with their work that I plan on hiring them for future projects read more

Let me first start off by saying "wow!" From the moment the two workers (Dan and Dan) walked into the house they were extremely friendly and professional. We contracted DTV to install three televisions and shelving. We were on the fence about having the fourth mounted, but by the completion of the first one our mind was made up that we wanted to go through with the installation of the fourth. Dan and Dan worked extremely well together, from the way they mounted the televisions, set up the plastic for the dust particles, and cleanup. They even offered to reorganize the furniture in the rooms that they were mounting the televisions. I was extremely pleased with John and the workers at the home and will be recommending the company to colleagues, friends, and family! Fast, professional and courtesy. We discovered DTV through Amazon for the installation of a TV mount. It turned out that the mount was not suitable for the space and they quickly suggested an alternative that was less expensive than our original plan. We will definitely go to them directly in the future. Highly recommend - if you want your job done right and quickly, call these guys. read more

I Just had a 55 inch TV installed by Shota, he did an amazing job. Totally professionally and so helpful with getting me started using the TV. I would definitely recommend them. Thanks so much...Chris S. read more

I had great experience with DTV Installation. I had them install two plasmas for me, I only had one mount but they sold me another one. All the wiring was done great, hidden in the wall or behind the moldings. The also installed in-wall speakers and they did a good job, so I don't have to repaint the walls. They do over-the-weekend installations which is very convenient and also the contractor called me when he was on his way. They made sure mounts, tv and all the speakers work properly and cleaned after they were done. They were friendly and helped me hooking up all the additional hardware I had (Chromecast, PlayStation and a Network Hard Drive). They also helped me configure TV settings to get the best out of it. I would totally recommend DTV Installations. read more

Just had John and his crew do a third installation of a flat panel in our home and I couldn't recommend them more. Incredibly responsive and communicative in an age when that's rarely the case, DTV is thoroughly professional, know what they're doing (even making recommendations that may only benefit the consumer) and do a bang-up job. No need to search around -- DTV Installations will get the job done for a very reasonable price. Two remotes up! read more

I used them for installing a projector screen and mount plus surround sound system. They were very professional and I couldn't be happier with the results. Got the job done quickly and the workmanship was very good. read more

DTV did my initial smaller job in Hoboken in 2012, and I chose them again in 2019 when I moved to a bigger place also in Hoboken. They seem to have grown, and it worked well because they had a good size team of 3 come to do a decent size home audio/video project, including mounting tv flush against limestone wall, in-ceiling speakers, in-wall sub, outdoor speakers, all connected to a media center within a closet with a few different components including sonos, receiver, xbox and more. They worked hard and professionally, spending 2 days, and had a follow on visit to change to a different remote that I preferred. Only recommendation is to ensure that your project scope is clearly aligned with them (or any other home contractors for that matter) when your project is complex and has nuances. Will use them again whenever we move again. read more

I can't say enough positive things about DTV. All the other positive reviews here echo my sentiments. I did a gut renovation of a townhouse in Brooklyn that took 10 months. DTV was present when the walls were open to run all the cable and wiring, came back a few months later to add all the components and came back again to meet the Verizon tech to make sure he did the job right! I have rarely worked with a contractor that I would recommend so strongly. Any audio visual or home automation or security jobs are totally in these guys' wheelhouse. They are fair, easy to get on the phone and really know their stuff. read more

Very impressive service. I hired them to mount a couple of TVs and speakers for a home theatre system and they did a great job as well as being a pleasure to work with. When I wanted to upgrade my tech a second time - motorized shades, hard wiring an access point and mounting a sonos play bar and installing outdoor speakers, DTV were my first and only call and they delivered again. Good pricing for Manhattan and most importantly, honest and trustworthy guys who go the extra mile to make sure their customer is satisfied. read more

DTV should get 100's!!! Incredibly priced, shows up on time and the installers were amazing. I wish I found them sooner... I can't express how happy I am with not only the products, but the incredible service they provided. I was in a time crunch to have a projector and audio equipment installed before thanks giving... THEY DELIVERED !! UNBELIEVABLE!!! thank you sooo much!!! read more

DTV Installations went above and beyond with helping me mount my 42 inch TV. They came on time and called me before they arrived. The technicians name was Igor and he was unbelievable; he did everything in a clean and efficient manner and was extremely careful that everything was done right. He cleaned up after himself and even helped make all my wires tidy. The job came out perfect and my apartment looks 100% better as a result. I would reccomend DTV Installations to anyone and would highly recommend asking for Igor. read more

These guys are amazing! They work fast and smart... even better than that, they left every room in our house spotless (after cutting holes / patching / painting) - you would never know they were there. We loved everything about our experience with them - which went beyond installation. When we were in need of a repair, they were immediately responsive and moved things around to help us ASAP. Like everyone else has said, they are the best - from quality to responsiveness and everything in between! read more

Overall excellent experience. Would highly recommend. John, the owner was excellent to deal with via email. I didn't have too difficult of a job - just needed a tv on the wall raised and some wiring reworked. They did a fantastic job - understood what needed to be done and got it done fairly quickly. Look forward to using again!! read more

These guys are great. Professional, friendly, efficient, knowledgable, couldn't have asked for better!

The service was finished in a timely manner and everything worked out fine. Even though the price was higher than the estimate given over the phone, it was still ok. I would use their service again. read more

Shawn, Dan and team were terrific, meticulous and professional, and made sure that our custom install was up and running perfectly. They came back for follow-on work and gave us very fair pricing as well. Highly recommended. read more

I was apprehensive about asking anyone to fix my stereo system--the lot who set up my sound system originally sneered at the simplicity of my old equipment, felt it all a bit beneath them, did the work grudgingly. These guys came promptly, analyzed what was wrong, fixed it, got me a replacement cd player for not too much. They were great--kind, professional, and reasonably priced. Danil in particular understood that I wanted to listen to music, not watch videos in surround-sound, and made me feel that was just fine. read more
