There were no leaks or issues after the job was completed. **Remodeling Cons:** * **Structural Oversights:** During the remodel, it became clear that the crew wasn't as knowledgeable about anticipating potential shower door options and leaving us, the customer options" to put in different kind of shower doors. They should have let us know that the wall was not strait and had a half inch off set between the bottom measurement openings and the top. Although that seems coming issue with bathrooms, we probably could have solve that issue with some minor backboard corrections. * **Waterproofing Concerns:** I had to be quite involved in ensuring proper waterproofing techniques were used for the shower, which will be tiled. While the final tilework looked great aesthetically, there were inconsistencies in the level of the tiles themselves. They did not use not enough self leveling in the right place. "Taking short cuts again" **Overall:** If you need a plumber for your bathroom project, Superior Plumbing and Gas is a good option. However, for a full-fledged bathroom remodel, I would recommend going with a company that specializes in renovations and can advise on best practices for shower construction and waterproofing. We called Servro out to get 2 feet of water out of our crawl space. They spent 4 hours and cost me $800. The I called Delameter plumber to see if they could help. The owner came over and crawled through the wet crawl space and got the sump pump working, with this got rid of the water within 5 minutes!! Servpro cost me time and money and Delameter Plumber fixes the problem with being here no longer than 10 minutes tops!! Amazing My wife and I called them back and ask them to remodel our hall bath. As a homeowner, you will always want things to be perfect, but I believe this company and the owner believes they will not leave until it's perfect. They go above and beyond when they are here and they make sure all the plumbing works before they leave. The most important thing is they do it right the first time. When I heard it, my pockets sank... that's an expensive replacement! I called Sergio for a second opinion and he came in the same day. After a look, he told me the unit is working very well and needed no replacement. He explained the utility company saves you money with new units since they are more energy cost-efficient, but no, there was no need to replace the unit unless we wanted to. Phew! That was a close call. Which handyman tells you not to buy a new HVAC? An honest one. Sergio is the man!

This company is ran by a couple of scam artists. We attempted to have this company (which is a dude…read moreand his wife) come out and replace some pipes in our commercial building and they gave us a quote with a scope of work and a time frame to conclude the job. They later after digging claimed an entirely new scope of work needed to be completed to get it done right and initially we approved the job. After accepting the $15,000 payment they literally did nothing for a week besides dig a small hole, then after that week said they needed another 10 days to complete the job than originally planned and we needed to close your business and sacrifice another 10 days of operation. It took them an entire week to simply dig a hole and attempt to replace one portion of one pipe. They did little to nothing, day in and day out for a week. It was a complete joke. This guys wife simply sat there on her phone for hours on end, attempting to rack up labor hours. After going back and forth with the company, we realized they had no idea what they were doing and were trying to scam us in the process. So we fired them and had Mission Plumbing come out and they gave us a quote significantly less than what these guys did and came out the next day and in 12 hours completed the entire job and repoured the concrete. The guys from Mission Plumbing were literally laughing at the work that Flow Doctor had attempted and said everything was completely out of code for a commercial building. We attempted to get a refund for the work they never completed but being as dishonest as they are, they refused. Long story short we got our refund through our bank and the credit card company because Mission detailed a list (very extensive one) of everything they had to redo and the work that wasn't completed on their end. If you want to overpay for a job that takes way too long to execute, not completely finished and against your local building code done, then this is the company for you!!!

That's just not how I like to operate! So, I set off on a quest for a better solution. Luckily, our awesome contractor from G Carpenter LLC had a great connection with a cabinetmaker in Olathe and recommended Chavez Cabinets LLC. The cabinet shop was conveniently located near our home. We met with Cal, who was incredibly professional and courteous. He took the time to show us different products and set up an appointment to measure everything. It felt great to have someone really listen to my ideas and share some awesome suggestions. While I initially planned on just getting standard cabinets, Cal helped us turn this into a truly custom experience! Before work began, Tomas Chavez even dropped by our house to go over our expectations and ensure everything was measured correctly. We decided on clear alder for the wood, and with a clear coat, it turned out to be the perfect shade! The slab doors are super easy to clean, and we now have special cabinets for baking supplies, cutting boards, and spices. Our blind corner cabinet features a 32-inch lazy Susan, and we added another cabinet to create more counter space and store small appliances. Plus, our trash and recycling bins are cleverly hidden in a pull-out. Tomas Chavez is a true artist when it comes to woodworking--the cabinets are absolutely beautiful! They were ready in less than a month, and he coordinated seamlessly with our contractor for the installation. I hired another company, a couple of months ago named Super Clean, a referral from my contractor…read morewho said he knew of them, however he did not know them really well. They were so unprofessional, sloppy, made a lot of noise and I still had the same issue with my new electric LG dryer. The flow sensor light would come on after a few minutes of drying time. I contacted LG had them come out and they told my hook up was wrong so I needed to call Home depot and have them redo the hook up. Had that done and I still had the same problem. So now I am thinking Super Clean did not clean my dryer duct properly. I contacted the other referral that was given to me by my house cleaner (CJL Multi Services) on June 4th, 2020, June 5th they were at my home at 9am. They took before and after photos and I was shocked at what they uncovered. Super Clean made a lot of noise however, they did not clean my dryer vents it looked liked they moved the lint around and clogged my vent even worst than they were before. CJL Multi Services use a method called Reverse Skipper Ball Method which I looked up and discovered it is a state of the art duct cleaning system and more through than other methods. I would highly recommend CJL Multi Services if you want a job well done and not be taken advantage of like I was from Super Clean.
