We hired White Brothers Electric to rebuild our Main Electrical Box and add electric to our new…read moregarage and front porch. They did an outstanding job coordinating the effort with the City of Mesa, SRP and us to ensure everything met code. Then when the work started, they completed the entire job on schedule, on budget, and the quality of their work was absolutely top notch. Highly recommend!! Long Version... Our old Main was inside our house and was completely maxed out and was almost a fire hazard. Since our house was on a county island many years ago, it definitely needed updated. They coordinated with the City of Mesa and SRP to get permits and to let us know what tree trimming we had to do before a new line could be run from the Roof Electrical Riser Pole to the electrical line in the alley. Our house had to be without power for an estimated 8 hours to run a new line to the alley. They did all the prep work ahead of schedule including installing a new Roof Electrical Riser Pole and all the hardware for the new main, and were so well prepared that we were only without power for about five hours. Once the new line was complete, they completed the new main outside our house, turned our old main into an updated sub panel, completely wired our garage for woodworking and welding equipment and added electrical to our front porch for accent lights and security lighting. All their work was very top notch and looks amazing. All work was completed exactly as scheduled or ahead of schedule. Everything came in at cost, which given how outdated our old lines were, was a surprise to me. Highly recommend White Brothers Electric. They know their stuff, including permits, identifying customer needs/wants and going above and beyond to ensure their work is high quality.

He was able to come out pretty quickly after my call to do a walk though and give me an estimate. He also asked me a ton of questions that really made me think though the best place where new outlets and switches should go. Honestly I didn't put any thought into that before he asked. Based on his recommendations I even added an extra outlet that has become very handy in the kitchen. His company also did a great job IDing everything on our electrical panel since nothing was labeled, put in wiring and switches for 2 ceiling fans, new recessed lighting in the living room and kitchen and a new 3 way switch in the hallway. When doing electrical, there is so much that is best left to the professionals and these guys did a great job, did it in a timely manner, had quality professionals and did an amazing job! This was probably the most expensive part of our remodel, but if I had a choice it would have been the only thing I spent money on if I had to. Since the remodel I've called them out to do some work on another house and he was able to fix that issue very quickly and with a reasonable fee. Thanks again!

BE WARNED residential customers. We needed $3500 of electrical work done in the house. Be sure to…read moreSTICK to the scope of work planned... less work was done than planned and the electrician AGREED it will be a reduction in price. A recessed outlet was supposed to be installed from a new attic junction box. They powered it from a switch 3 feet away without the attic junction box and without accessing the attic. Furthermore, they installed a regular outlet and not a recessed outlet. Less work was performed and the electrician verbally agreed a price reduction should occur. An outlet in the kitchen, adjacent to the garage, was supposed to have been cleaned up with 2 additional junction boxes. No additional junction boxes were installed. Electrician added longer pig-tails to power the outlet and screwed the dry wall removed from the opposite side (garage side). Less work was performed and the electrician verbally agreed a price reduction should occur. Existing conduit on the east side of the house was to be replaced with larger conduit. Existing conduit was not replaced. Less work was performed and the electrician verbally agreed a price reduction should occur. Our electrician stated that he must input the work performed into their system, it would be compared to the original work scope, and lead to a price adjustment. Upon receiving the invoice for the original work scope at the original price, we emailed Look Electric and their response was simply that they expect full payment. I called and spoke to Bo Bowman - who sent the email. He mentioned that he spoke to his electrician and the electrician stated he had no conversation with me about any cost reductions. The electrician lied. I stated that I intend to pay $3000 since that is a reflection of the work performed and he stated his people worked 32.5 hours when he scoped 32 hours and claimed he lost money on the job. I then stated that he needs to send men back to my home to complete the work quoted if I need to pay the full amount. He then threatened to place a lien on our home for less than $500. Residential customers BE WARNED not to get ripped off by Bo Bowman and Look Electric. Look Electric is an unethical company that takes advantage of residential customers and sends employees who lie about cost reductions. John N. Phoenix, AZ
