That is, until I brought my uniforms to Capland Embroidery. I was warned that I may see stitching on my tops from having embroidery removed and replaced. However, this was not the case at all. Looking at my scrub tops you could never tell the difference! Also Capland didn't have my logo for my hospital. No problem. I texted a picture to the owner and he promised he could do it, and boy did he deliver. I brought my scrubs on a Saturday, and was promised a finished date of Tuesday. To my delight my scrubs were ready Monday afternoon! A whole day ahead of schedule! I am so pleased with their work, I just had to tell the Yelp community about it. So y'all, if y'all need a seemingly impossible job done, take it to Capland. They make the impossible possible.

I went in there today and there was a totally different man there. He insulted the picture I wanted to use and basically made me feel as if what I was asking for was impossible and burdensome. To paint the picture, let me just say that I wanted one simple shirt with a picture on it and a simple airbrush. I didn't even get past talking about my picture, before I told him I was leaving because I didn't want him to do a "crappy" job. He responded, "when you start with crap, you get crap." I told him he needed to learn how to talk to people and proceeded to walk out. I won't tolerate that type of attitude towards me when I'm spending MY money. So, they lost my business and money.

In full transparency, I haven't been to CC since 2001 during undergrad. When my daughter joined a…read moresorority this year, I stopped in to see if there was anything I could pick up as a surprise gift. A lot has changed in almost 30 years and they have an extensive Tulane collection. The amount of Tulane items is insane. If you are looking for Tulane stuff, they've got you covered. I was surprised that I didn't see any Loyola stuff, but times have changed. I was really surprised that they have very little Greek stuff. Again, I get it. They probably don't sell a lot of items now that people buy online. The thing that did bother me was the utter lack of customer service. The only people in there were me and a family. No one asked if I needed help. I was clearly looking around and several employees watched me looking around. One guy was literally unpacking boxes next to me while I searched the area. No one said a word to me as I walked around and no one asked if I needed help. They watched as I walked in and watched as I walked out. If your business is in retail, actually speaking to potential customers is a must.

I hate to have to write this (I really like the idea of supporting local & understand running a…read morebusiness is challenging), but this is the 2nd time that we've been completely ignored by customer service regarding a simple issue. Last time I ordered an item in a medium & was emailed an abrupt refund notification (even though the website said "in stock"). I reached out a couple of times about maybe getting a large instead & no one ever responded. Baffling. Recently I gave it another shot (though because of my diminished confidence I ordered twice as many items this time from BN Bookstore simultaneously since they promote that "satisfaction is our goal"). I relied on a description on the CC website that a sweatshirt was 100% cotton. Not a big fan of 50-50 (don't like the feel or the static) & never would have ordered one if it had been accurately described. I don't know what went wrong this time but it arrived in 50-50 material. Very disappointing, but whatever, I did still like the design. Tweeted about the unfortunate mislabeling snafu and yet again received no response or even the slightest acknowledgment. Deja vu. Just a little attention and culpability would have been nice, but I think I'm done here. And kinda Bummed out also. I liked having a creative alternative as a choice, but what good is it if customer respect & fulfillment is lacking.
