I contacted LA Roofing Materials and spoke with Fausto. He informed me they have the product in stock. I texted a picture of my quote for all the materials included from the other supplier. I received back text and a copy of the quotation via email from Fausto. I texted some questions and Fausto answered immediately and re-confirmed all the products on the quotation. Within an hour, I placed the order and received delivery promptly the next morning. The two delivery gentlemen were very friendly and efficient in placing the tiles on my roof and detached garage. I was most impressed with Fausto's professionalism, knowledge and responsiveness. I wanted to personally thank Fausto when I returned unused materials, but he was on vacation that day. They…read moredidn't remove old caulking before applying the new one, and the glaze itself had 3 issues with it: some weird black spots, a section where the glaze dripped down and had hardened, and an exposed part of the tub that wasn't patched correctly. Also, the technician didn't speak English that well, so it was very difficult to communicate with him. The owner reached out to me and wanted to make it right. I wasn't expecting this since usually companies will just take your money and disappear but apparently if you just tell this company about it, they'll try to make it right. I took a few weeks to do a back and forth with them about the work that would be done, and they were very polite and professional throughout the whole thing. The front office was awesome with scheduling and answering questions. The same technician was assigned to the fixes, but I requested a different technician be assigned and they obliged. The new tech did a good job, and I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome. There was some overspray again, but not a huge deal as the black spots and the exposed part of the tub were properly addressed. I found out that one of the issues I originally had (the black spots) were caused by my shower leaking and water dropped onto the glaze as it was drying. Seems like the first tech didn't put a cover over my shower head, but this new tech did. He also spoke English better than the other tech, so no translation app was needed. During this second fix-up visit, the owner himself came on-site to make sure everything was done correctly. Overall, I'm satisfied with the work that was done. It seems even if they do mess up, they'll eventually fix it. If the second tech was the one who did the work first, this would be a 5* review.

The guys in the warehouse gave him the wrong piece. He fabricated it and installed it for my customer. My customer calls me and tells me it's wrong slab I then call LJ and tell them they tell me their guy also signed off on the paperwork applicator ever seen the piece before He was just picking it up but there guy signed the paperwork saying it was the right piece they said they will give me the right piece but they won't pay for the fabrication so the following day I get a call from somebody named Liza.She said the piece the customer selected was the piece she received or it was fabricator's fault for picking up the wrong piece and she told me maybe I have so many jobs going. I got it mixed up. I have no other jobs going with countertops now they won't even give me the right piece. They said they were going to. They will not stand behind any of it like I said, I've been a contractor for 40 years. Something goes wrong on my job. no matter what the price is I take care of it cause that's how business is done. These people have done nothing but argue and blame anybody that they can and not take responsibility they gave the fabricator the wrong piece. Just wanted to be out there if anything ever goes wrong when you buy from this company good luck getting them to stand behind it their words are worth absolutely nothing saying they will take care of it one day at least the peace and the next day. Take no responsibility at all. I will never deal with this place again and I hope somebody will read this doesn't deal with them either. What really sets this place above in my book is that I went down there to buy 10 feet of white oak quarter round molding (the big box stores only seem to carry red oak). My order was $6 or something, but as I was waiting I started looking through their little molding handbook, in awe of the selection and fantasizing about what kind of crazy project I could do. The guy helping me noticed me browsing the catalog and gave me the big catalog, which I noticed after I left had a $25 price tag on it! The real kicker is the big catalog has not only all of their molding products, but it also has a project section with detailed drawings and pictures showing different configurations of wainscotting, coffered ceilings, and other projects. For each project they also show exactly what moldings are required to create that look. Looking through it I felt like Tim Allen in a frenzy, just oohs, ahhs, and grunts.
