He also helped my husband too on his truck and this time my rear signal and lights were out. He was able to diagnose the issue with the bulbs as well as explain what went wrong. I had one of the bulbs correct but still needed another one and he was equipped with the missing bulb I needed. I got my full value in services needed. Very reasonably priced! He was knowledgeable and very professional. Communication was very good and I just need one more thing fixed and he will be called to finish the job (waiting on a part). The HUGE convenience is that he's mobile and comes to you. This saved me from a potential traffic ticket if I didn't get those lights fixed. Mahalo Donald (DKG auto trucking services). God bless

    We found the most amazing mobile mechanic super close to home. True Aloha Spirit from a honest…read morehardworking local who know was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We had called inquiring about his services and explained briefly over the phone what the problem was with our truck and that we wanted to have him take a look to see what could be done to fix it He was informative, explained his diagnostic fee, sent us an invoice via email and scheduled an appointment in just a few days. He also explained the diagnostic fee went towards any repair balance, which I thought was such a phenomenal thing!! His communication was completely thorough letting us know when he was nearby, and felt like throughout the entire process he constantly communicated with us next steps, status etc. Communication is a HUGE factor to me, in exceptions customer service because it keeps the consumer in the loop and establishes a firm amount of trust in someone doing a service for you. Prior to him coming out we provided over the phone make model VIN year and Donald explained he was going to do some analysis on the car prior to coming out to see usual car maintenance by this age of this vehicle etc. I have NEVER been asked that for any type of repair work, at any shop etc. The willingness to do research on this specific car, made me feel like he was customizing this experience just for us!! Who does that? We were already off to an amazing start!! Upon arrival to our home Donald was completely thorough, we explained what we experienced while driving the truck. He briefly discussed a few possible issues it could have , then jacked it up to take a look. He ordered the parts we agreed upon a return time and true to his word he returned and repaired our truck. We test drove it to ensure the issue was resolved and it was like there was never a issue in our truck to begin with I find it extremely hard to find auto mechanics to be honest and not charge an arm and leg for there services and I am so happy to have found Donald's services. If I could give him 12 starts out of 10 I would!! He was honest, knowledgeable, informative, and the most important thing was the job was completed and our cars working perfectly!! Can't thank you enough Donald, going to be recommending your services to anyone who may need it!!!

    I can't even say enough of about this service! I really didn't think the company car was THAT dirty…read more- but by the time everything was done it was like a brand new car. Paul worked on a stain we had on the car and managed to get it off - AND the finish on the car was like BUTTAH! Needless to say, tires and rims were not just clean, they were sparkling! The inside of the car was similarly impressive. I have no words. I don't even know what went on in there but it was honestly the cleanest I have ever seen it since it was brand new. We got a lot of quotes and Paul was kind of on the lower middle of the range, and I was impressed by his responsiveness and professionalism once we talked. He was able to fit us into his schedule pretty quickly (nice for us!) and the fact that he is mobile adds even more value, in my opinion. Paul was very easy to talk to, personable and kind. He takes cards too! I do not have enough words to tell you how amazing our experience was, but I have already recommended him to a co-worker and now I'm recommending him to you! Check him out!

    I was trying to return an auto battery today that I bought in Feb 2023. My car would not start with…read morethis battery. I brought it back to Hanabusa's to try to get another battery. However, they said that the battery was still good after testing it in store and I should take the battery back. They could do nothing to resolve this. I told them a mechanic had also tested it and said that the battery didn't have enough cranking power to start the engine. I needed a new battery. They would not prorate the cost for the new battery.I bought a new battery from them and installed the new battery. The engine started and starts multiple times.BUYER BEWARE. I will never buy a battery from them again and will take my business to O' Reilly's in Nanakuli. So sad I've been doing business with them for decades. No star rating for Hanabusa's. Unbelievably bad service.

    This one's not going to be as short as my trip to Napa was…read more I walked in and out within a matter of 5 minutes. And yet that trip costed me half an hour of missed time. So I was working on my car, did a radiator flush and needed new coolant after assuming I had a fresh bottle in the back (but I guess it was more than half empty). My only transportation was the bus and there were two options for a place to buy coolant: Napa in Waianae or AutoZone in Waipahu (which I knew had the one I wanted). I called Napa to find out if they have the coolant I need because if they didn't, then I could just stay on the bus all the way to Waipahu. If they had it, I could save myself a long trip. They first claimed they had the coolant (GM's OEM Dexcool is what I asked for) and that the price was 12.95 (or something close) without even looking. I had to ask again just knowing that the price was wrong because I've bought that coolant before elsewhere. The second time, the person quoted 15.95 which sounded a little more accurate but still cheap. Still, it was a relief that I didn't have to go all the way to AutoZone. I got off the bus, walked in, saw the small section of coolant and saw that what was quoted was their own proprietary Napa brand coolant, which I refuse to put in my car. I think that should've been mentioned on the phone. I've read so many dexcool horror stories, I wasn't about to risk an off-brand. That little 5 minute trip costed me getting off of my bus to waipahu. Which means I had to wait another half an hour for the next one. The whole point of calling basically didn't help me at all and I should have gone to AutoZone from the start. Two things in recap: 1. Get the prices straight. 2. Actually mention that you don't have the OEM brand of what the person is asking for! I didn't check out any of the other merchandise or really get to interact with the workers in person so I can't rate anything else but my short experience. This is why I went with a 3 instead of anything lower.
