Luna did an excellent job at helping me. The store was busy and she did a good job of managing every ones needs. I got the shoes I wanted, then she showed me another pair for a great price. I only was looking for a pair of shoes, but I ended up getting three because the prices were good, and the shoes were beautiful. They didn't have the right size for one pair I wanted, but Luna helped me order them while still retaining the Buy One Get One half off deal. Amazing service and great shoes. I will be back in the future!

They went above and beyond to make sure my purchase was worth it. They ordered the boots I wanted in multiple sizes. I tried them on and walked around while they asked me questions. I started off unsure and by the end I was positive. I even learned things about my feet I never knew :) This process was over the course of 3 weeks. Yet each and every time they were awesome. I stopped into Sierra in Fort Collins and it's a really interesting alternative to stores like REI…read moreor Dick's Sporting Goods. The big difference is that Sierra works on an off-price model, similar to TJ Maxx, which means they buy overstock and past-season gear from major outdoor brands and sell it at significant discounts. Because of that, you can sometimes find the same brands you'd see at REI such as The North Face, Smartwool, Fjällräven, Carhartt, and other outdoor favorites, but at much lower prices. The inventory changes constantly, so the store has more of a "treasure hunt" feeling rather than the predictable layout you get at traditional sporting goods stores. Fort Collins is the perfect place for a store like this since the whole town revolves around hiking, running, skiing, and outdoor life, and Sierra offers a great way to find quality gear without paying full retail.

My husband and I had an amazing experience here a few weeks ago…read more He was in need of a new suit for an event we were attending... that night! So, we knew our options were limited. When we walked in, they had a number of sale signs and so we started browsing. Unfortunately, we had no idea what we were looking for in terms of size. Shortly after we arrived, we were asked by Asha if we needed any help and we emphatically said yes. We told her exactly what type of event we were going for (that we didn't want a plain 'ol suit), what our budget was, etc. She was immediately thrilled to help us and got to work. She explained my husband's measurements and what options would fit our budget and let us explore while she looked as well. She gave him different styles to try on and did an amazing job at putting colors together with suits/shirts and in selecting a tie. Overall, she made our experience a true 10 out of 10! She was fun, polite, and knows her stuff! We are both so grateful for her help and my husband looked fantastic that evening at our event.

I bought boots from Whitesides in Greeley and I wore them twice. I wear these for dancing so I knew they would not last well. I took them back to the store and I was immediately told that because I wore them I could not return them or exchange them. I had brought my receipt, the box, and everything for the boots. The employees were extremely rude and the manager took one of the boots back to a male employee who tried to tell me the boots were fine and it didn't matter because it looked like I had wore them alot and since I wore them outside they would not take them back. I told him I would make sure that people were aware of their purchases there and how even when they sold defective boots they could not be returned. He was extremely rude and condescending, and his hands were shaking like a little chihuahua as he put the cardboard back in the boots. He obviously knew that the boots were defective and he didn't like being called out. These were only one of many boots I had purchased through my life and it completely baffles me that a store would not return a boot they sold that was obviously defective, and on top of that treat a customer so rude. I would stick to Boot Barn or somewhere else before I would ever purchase anything from this store again. They obviously sold a boot they knew was defective by the big glob of glue they put on it to hide the defect and then refused to exchange it. I have never had a problem returning a boot that I had a problem with before worn or not. You're definitely better off staying away from this store if you don't want to waste your money. I would never trust these people to stand behind their product which makes me wonder about their products.
