She was absolutely sweet, understanding, knowledgeable, and very patient. My two cousins who went with me aren't very experienced riders, and she walked them through everything. Royal Creek has an amazing way of setting up the entire experience. They are really good at pairing the rider with the house -- not easy to do, but very well done. Once you arrive, you meet your "guide" and then are introduced to your horse. I really enjoyed the fact that you have some one on one time with the horse you'll be riding before you actually get on. You get to give your horse a brush down so they get comfortable with you, after that the horses are saddled up, and they take you to an indoor arena to ride around and get comfortable. Your guide will then make sure you're comfortable to take you out to the field where you'll ride around for a while. This was honestly one of the best horseback riding experiences I have had in a long time. Also, their prices are super reasonable. $105 for 3 people for an 1 1/2 hours

Stalls are cleaned well and amplely bedded daily and I have never found Winston's water bucket dirty. They feed quality hay and the pastures are large and lush. They look after each horse's need as an individual and the barn, indoor arena, round pen as well as the grounds and pastures are kept neat and clean. I will never move my horse again, we are HOME!!!

Apparently SOMEONE's been using it, maybe earlier in the day when we're not there, since our doggie goes NUTS smelling every inch of the place!! Watch out for those HEAVENLY "perfumed" benches and picnic tables, and the occasional "dog pie!!" They have a larger area for bigger dogs, and a smaller area for the little guys, though since we're usually flying solo here, our little guy gets the big area to himself. If your doggie doesn't "work and play well with others," and/or you're a borderline hermit yourself, this is your "go to" dog park!!

Frank is so wonderful to work with and you really feel he cares and wants to do whatever he can to make things special. Where some funeral homes might make a dvd of photos to play on a TV, they have multiple projectors around the room creating a totally immersive experiences with not just pictures. They may project a flag for a veteran or an image of flowers for someone who liked to garden. The facility is huge and nicely appointed with lots of places to just get away when you need to. The children's room is the largest I've seen and they give you the run of the place to treat like home. They have a giant family tree painted on the wall and frame up personal photos and attach to the tree. If you follow them on Facebook they do tons of community outreach. They just really go above and beyond.

When asking about the hours they will be happy to tell you the hours. Something you need to be aware of is the pricing policy (which has apparently been their policy since opening) . They are open until 5. If you pick up your pets after the noon hour-you are charged for a full nights kenneling. It is not a doggy day care, or an hourly penalty. This is their right. I am sharing for anyone who is scheduling a stay, so they do not get blindsided by an additional days charge. Again, if you place your pets in their care, at least you can be rest assured they will be safe.

The staff are great and very concerned with the animals' health and safety. Their training philosophy is totally positive and never punitive. They offer just about anything that you need for your dog. My Lozen is happily tired at the end of a half day of day care and she is always excited to get in the car to come to the camp. And I also have a 6 year old long haired chihuahua puppy mill survivor who does not like to be touched by humans and she needed a grooming very badly. We had a miscommunication issue on the appointment time and they went out of their way to get her groomed that same day so that I did not have to traumatize the dog further than she already was being in a crate. I was so happy to get her cleaned up and am glad that I brought her to Train Your Pup. I would highly recommend TYP and if I did not have an earth dog would love to try Splash Your Pup too!
