I am so saddened to say I was not happy with my blowout as my curls were not curly after one hour! I am attending a wedding so I had to go back to the hotel and recurl my hair! Still great, after years of coming here. I typically get the Southern Comfort with some add ons. But today was different. I had the amazing Samantha give me one of the best scalp massages ever. I literally almost passed out in the chair (in a good way) and I have never done drugs or anything my entire life but I imagine this is what getting high feels like. TERRIBLE! Horrible service!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I used to come here a lot & they had such amazing stylists & staff members. Unfortunately their stylists & staff have both changed. The new stylists lack experience & the staff are rude. Today I just had enough of this place. Today I was 9 minutes late. The stylist who has afro bleached hair said she couldn't take me, because I came in at the end of the 10 minute grace period. I emphasized I was 9 minutes late not 10 minutes as I was trying to find parking. She was incredibly rude & replied with an attitude, "Well yeah that's toward the end of the 10 minute grace period." She was simply just rude & wasn't even nice about it. I DO NOT recommend this place at all!!! I would like my refund for the package I have purchased. read more

Im torn writing this review....the gal who did my hair put a lot of care and thought into the styling and recommended some great products. She was sweet and often used uplifting words like queen, gorgeous, etc. Always nice to see females empowerig other females. She however put some "magical glossy something inbmy hair and THEN proceeded to mention it costs more. It was less than magical, let me tell you. Love dry bar products, but this was not it. The customer service though oooof. There is no rhyme or reason to check in system. Early? Late? On time? Doesn't seem to matter. Everyone that works there seems looked like theyd like to be anywhere but there. I mean I get it, its work but dang a smile or warm welcome will go a long way. I love getting my hair done, its definitely a luxury. I recommend the management team here finds ways to make the customer experience a little more of a priority . For the price and wait time....the luxury hair treatment can be found elsewhere. read more

Drybar does not respect your time. I booked a blowout appointment this morning around 10 AM for a 12:15 PM time slot. When I arrived, there were already four other people waiting for their appointments. After checking in, I noticed the front desk associate speaking quietly on the phone. A few moments later, she told me they were running behind and asked if I could push my appointment back by 45 minutes. While I understand that delays happen, I was disappointed that no one contacted me ahead of time to let me know. A quick call or message would have been a simple courtesy and would have saved me nearly 40 minutes of driving time round trip. It may be helpful for this location to review its online booking system to ensure appointment availability and timing are accurate. After reading other reviews, it seems my experience was not an isolated one. I wish I had looked into these other reviews beforehand. It was also freezing in the salon and they kept the door open despite it being 45 degrees outside. Work stations also looked messy and unorganized. read more

This is such a badly managed business. I've been here twice now and both times waited 45+ min for my appointment and this last one I just walked out as I did, I asked the stylist to make sure I don't get a cancellation fee, but of course they did charge me. The stylist themselves are very nice and clearly overworked. This is just badly managed. When you see that clients are waiting 30-45 min to get their service then maybe it's time to reevaluate how appointments are scheduled? And space them out more? Sounds like they are greedy and packing appointments in at the advantage of their clients and their staff. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME. read more

Came to Drybar prior to my birthday celebration for a nice blowout with a reservation for me and my girlfriend. We waited for about 10 mins for our appointment time and were taken to have our hair washed. My hairdresser was friendly and her wash was alright, not great. The reason why i said that was because she has really long acrylic nails on and it seems she couldn't really work hard on the wash without risking snapping her nails off. I am not sure if that is the reason though. I opted for the Cosmothai? I think that is what it was called but it is this nice relaxed curled look. I was very happy with the look and they managed to finish both of us in less than hour. I am pretty happy with my hairdo after. Will come back if I have another event or party to go to! read more

My friend treated me to my first experience here and I should have trusted the negative reviews. Punctuality: very late & disorganized. Our appointment was at 9am, we received a call that they were 15minutes behind so we arrived at 9:10am and was not brought back until 9:45am. There were customers coming in and complaining that it happened to them multiple of times, delays happen but the shop opened at 8am. It sounds like this happens very frequently which is disrespectful of customers' time and not a great experience. Service - scalp treatment: my stylist walked away mid shampooing my hair to deal with an issue. She came back and barely gave me a massage and then she sent me to a styling chair while my hair was dripping down my neck. Scalp treatments are an extra charge, but it's not worth it - my shampoo, conditioning and scalp massage took less than 10minutes. Service - blowout: I went for a southern comfort for volume and loose curls. I wanted minimal products in my hair but my stylist still sprayed alot. My hair came out ok but did not resemble what was displayed in the stylebook. It just looks like regular curls which I could have done myself. My hair felt a bit crispy from the products and the amount of heat used for curling. Cleanliness: the floor is really slippery because all the products they use on people. I don't know if or how they clean the rollers, brush or curlers. I'd be concerned if someone had lice and the equipment were not properly cleaned. When I arrived in the back room for shampooing, I saw there was still hair in the drain from another customer. Experience: rushed, disruptive and not at all relaxing. My stylist kept having conversations with other stylists throughout my entire appointment. From shampooing to styling, she kept talking non stop and didn't check in to see how I was doing. At one point, the hairdryer got really hot on my scalp. I even let the stylist know it's my very first appointment so I was hoping for better engagement and walk- through. My appointment was rushed through because they were behind schedule with angry customers. Based on my experience and cost, I would not recommend coming here. read more

I came into my appt and they told me, you won't be seen for at least 20 mins. I waited to 25 mins, when I could tell there was no way I would be seen anytime soon I had to leave how I had to be able to make my event! Why wouldn't they contact me and let me know- hey we are running 30 Mins late should we reschedule?!! I ended up getting a parking ticket, no hair done, late for my event!!!
