Amorianna was amazing!!! First person that took the time to thoroughly blow dry my daughter's curly hair!

I am so saddened to say I was not happy with my blowout as my curls were not curly after one hour! I am attending a wedding so I had to go back to the hotel and recurl my hair! I will say the vibe was immaculate as always and my stylist was as sweet as can be BUT my service was not quality and when you pay almost 100 dollars for a blowout not having it perfect even after one hour is bleh! read more

Still great, after years of coming here. I typically get the Southern Comfort with some add ons. But today was different. I had the amazing Samantha give me one of the best scalp massages ever. I literally almost passed out in the chair (in a good way) and I have never done drugs or anything my entire life but I imagine this is what getting high feels like. Ten minutes of heaven! 5 starts and will definitely come back and ask for Samantha! read more

We had a 3pm appt for my daughters hair to be done by 3:00 for homecoming. They called at 2:30 to say they were running late and had to change the appt to 3:15. While this wasn't ideal, we accepted and agreed it would be fine. We got there at 3 and checked in- the girl said they had to change the appt to 3:30, the stylist just went on lunch. This was not ok. I couldn't believe they thought this would be ok. I was frustrated and my daughter was upset- we decided to leave and we will not return on a busy day or maybe ever again. read more

Great service and quality work! I arrived early and they even got me in early! I'm buying the package! read more

changed appointment from 3 to 3:15 and then to 3:30. absolutely ridiculous. they said the stylist was on lunch but it makes no sense considering i had an appointment. i love this place so much and i'm so disappointed read more

Great experience at Drybar! Everyone was friendly, and the check-in process with Lali was especially welcoming and efficient. My stylist did a great job, and I left happy with my blowout. I'll definitely be back! read more

Karina did an excellent job with my hair today. Very happy with my blowout. She's very precise!! she also did a great job thoroughly washing my hair. Loved it can't wait to come back. read more

Had a poor experience at this location on 7/25. Me and my mom came here for dry styling. Mine looked far from hollywood curls and my mom was unhappy with her curls and the woman who did her hair simply brushed them out. We both had to pay another stylist before my cousins wedding to re-do the first style..I had went to a dry bar in Burbank, CA 2 weeks prior, and their service was excellent, friendly employees, and my curls lasted all night. Will not return. read more

Bherlyn was absolutely incredible. Her attention to detail and personal warmth enhanced the entire experience. She created a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy the service provided. Asking detailed questions and truly going above and beyond. Thank you and will be back very soon. read more

Lali was amazing as usual! I love all the staff at Drybar in Walnut Creek! Everyone is so friendly and they do amazing job with the hair!

Im torn writing this review....the gal who did my hair put a lot of care and thought into the styling and recommended some great products. She was sweet and often used uplifting words like queen, gorgeous, etc. Always nice to see females empowerig other females. She however put some "magical glossy something inbmy hair and THEN proceeded to mention it costs more. It was less than magical, let me tell you. Love dry bar products, but this was not it. The customer service though oooof. There is no rhyme or reason to check in system. Early? Late? On time? Doesn't seem to matter. Everyone that works there seems looked like theyd like to be anywhere but there. I mean I get it, its work but dang a smile or warm welcome will go a long way. I love getting my hair done, its definitely a luxury. I recommend the management team here finds ways to make the customer experience a little more of a priority . For the price and wait time....the luxury hair treatment can be found elsewhere. read more

Called twice a few weeks ago for a blowout appt and never received a callback. Been here multiple times and rarely get any acknowledgment upon arriving. Blow outs are usually mediocre and I find I have to jooj them when I get home. read more

Drybar does not respect your time. I booked a blowout appointment this morning around 10 AM for a 12:15 PM time slot. When I arrived, there were already four other people waiting for their appointments. After checking in, I noticed the front desk associate speaking quietly on the phone. A few moments later, she told me they were running behind and asked if I could push my appointment back by 45 minutes. While I understand that delays happen, I was disappointed that no one contacted me ahead of time to let me know. A quick call or message would have been a simple courtesy and would have saved me nearly 40 minutes of driving time round trip. It may be helpful for this location to review its online booking system to ensure appointment availability and timing are accurate. After reading other reviews, it seems my experience was not an isolated one. I wish I had looked into these other reviews beforehand. It was also freezing in the salon and they kept the door open despite it being 45 degrees outside. Work stations also looked messy and unorganized. read more

Love coming here to style my hair!! Bherlyn is super sweet and fantastic! Best drybar location!

Stopped by this location today and the service was great. They were fully staffed and on time. I was greeted upon entry right away and then sat down with Samantha. Super sweet, and she did a great job on my blow out. She's also hilarious. I will definitely be returning- thanks Samantha! read more

Sammantha at Drybar is an absolute standout. I came in for a blowout and ended up getting one of the best scalp massages I have ever had, hands down. Not rushed, not mechanical, just genuinely relaxing and perfectly pressure balanced. It honestly felt like a mini spa treatment and completely melted my stress away. Beyond that, she was warm, attentive, and clearly knows what she is doing. My hair looked amazing, but the scalp massage alone is the reason I will be booking with her again. If you are someone who appreciates the little details that make an experience exceptional, ask for Sammantha. She is next level, I highly recommend her! read more

I scheduled an appointment for my baby shower and realized I needed to come in early because I needed more time to get ready. I figured I would just attempt to come early and sure enough they were able to get me in and out earlier than expected, it was such a delight! I had the BEST experience at Drybar I have to give a huge shoutout to Samantha! From the moment I sat in her chair, she was warm, confident, and truly listened to what I wanted. She didn't just "do my hair" she crafted it. My blowout had the perfect balance of volume, smoothness, and movement. It looked polished but still natural, which is exactly what I love. The attention to detail was next level. She checked every section, refined the shape, and made sure it framed my face beautifully. What really stood out was her energy. She was professional, upbeat, and clearly passionate about her work. You can tell when someone takes pride in their craft and she absolutely does. I walked out feeling elevated, confident, and honestly a little unstoppable. read more

TERRIBLE! Horrible service!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I used to come here a lot & they had such amazing stylists & staff members. Unfortunately their stylists & staff have both changed. The new stylists lack experience & the staff are rude. Today I just had enough of this place. Today I was 9 minutes late. The stylist who has afro bleached hair said she couldn't take me, because I came in at the end of the 10 minute grace period. I emphasized I was 9 minutes late not 10 minutes as I was trying to find parking. She was incredibly rude & replied with an attitude, "Well yeah that's toward the end of the 10 minute grace period." She was simply just rude & wasn't even nice about it. I DO NOT recommend this place at all!!! I would like my refund for the package I have purchased. read more

This is such a badly managed business. I've been here twice now and both times waited 45+ min for my appointment and this last one I just walked out as I did, I asked the stylist to make sure I don't get a cancellation fee, but of course they did charge me. The stylist themselves are very nice and clearly overworked. This is just badly managed. When you see that clients are waiting 30-45 min to get their service then maybe it's time to reevaluate how appointments are scheduled? And space them out more? Sounds like they are greedy and packing appointments in at the advantage of their clients and their staff. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME. read more

I've been to this Drybar quite a few times since moving to Walnut Creek and have had nothing but great experiences! Everyone here is kind, respectful and does wonderful work. I have a ridiculous amount of hair and each stylist I've gone to has gone above and beyond to take care of it! read more

Came to Drybar prior to my birthday celebration for a nice blowout with a reservation for me and my girlfriend. We waited for about 10 mins for our appointment time and were taken to have our hair washed. My hairdresser was friendly and her wash was alright, not great. The reason why i said that was because she has really long acrylic nails on and it seems she couldn't really work hard on the wash without risking snapping her nails off. I am not sure if that is the reason though. I opted for the Cosmothai? I think that is what it was called but it is this nice relaxed curled look. I was very happy with the look and they managed to finish both of us in less than hour. I am pretty happy with my hairdo after. Will come back if I have another event or party to go to! read more

Service was on time, quick and just what I needed before I traveled. Had a great massage as well during my wash.

I've been coming here for a few years now and the service has always been great. All the girls are professional and great. There's a reason I've been coming here for so long! Highly recommend!! read more

My friend treated me to my first experience here and I should have trusted the negative reviews. Punctuality: very late & disorganized. Our appointment was at 9am, we received a call that they were 15minutes behind so we arrived at 9:10am and was not brought back until 9:45am. There were customers coming in and complaining that it happened to them multiple of times, delays happen but the shop opened at 8am. It sounds like this happens very frequently which is disrespectful of customers' time and not a great experience. Service - scalp treatment: my stylist walked away mid shampooing my hair to deal with an issue. She came back and barely gave me a massage and then she sent me to a styling chair while my hair was dripping down my neck. Scalp treatments are an extra charge, but it's not worth it - my shampoo, conditioning and scalp massage took less than 10minutes. Service - blowout: I went for a southern comfort for volume and loose curls. I wanted minimal products in my hair but my stylist still sprayed alot. My hair came out ok but did not resemble what was displayed in the stylebook. It just looks like regular curls which I could have done myself. My hair felt a bit crispy from the products and the amount of heat used for curling. Cleanliness: the floor is really slippery because all the products they use on people. I don't know if or how they clean the rollers, brush or curlers. I'd be concerned if someone had lice and the equipment were not properly cleaned. When I arrived in the back room for shampooing, I saw there was still hair in the drain from another customer. Experience: rushed, disruptive and not at all relaxing. My stylist kept having conversations with other stylists throughout my entire appointment. From shampooing to styling, she kept talking non stop and didn't check in to see how I was doing. At one point, the hairdryer got really hot on my scalp. I even let the stylist know it's my very first appointment so I was hoping for better engagement and walk- through. My appointment was rushed through because they were behind schedule with angry customers. Based on my experience and cost, I would not recommend coming here. read more

Love the experience! I was nervous to come but the staff made me feel so comfortable. Amorianna was fantastic! She did my style perfectly.

I can't say enough good things about Sam . She is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and truly goes above and beyond for her clients.
