She listens and understands what you want and if you don't know she will ask you questions and try to help you figure it out. I've been to places where I felt the stylist was more interested in what they wanted vs. listening to me and what I want. For those of you with long hair, don't be afraid of Meghan. She will not force you to think about cutting it short or adding something you didn't want. If you say, I just want a trim, then that's what you get. She may ask you a question like have you ever thought about an angle here or layer there but no pressure. Her dialogue is very calming and she truly cares about her clients the way she would about her family. One of the things that has been hard for me when visiting most salons- I have moderate hearing loss and the stylists have always been super chatty and ask tons of open ended questions. I usually can't understand 70% of what they say after Ive removed my hearing devices. That always takes makes me feel embarrassed when I keep asking them to repeat themselves or answer something they didnt ask. After showing my stylist my desired cut, she saw me remove my hearing aids. She did not make me feel pressured to make small talk. The head massage she gave me while shampooing my hair was wonderful and relaxing. She was gentle with my hair and took great care with cutting the layers. The front door was propped open and there was a nice breeze coming in. She made me feel happy, relaxed and at ease. I have never had such a quiet and relaxing salon experience. I look forward to visiting her again when I need my hair cut in the future.
