The first time I used the green and orange national company and, while the work got done, it was a bit of mystery as to what they were doing, when things would be done, what it would cost, etc. I can't begin to express how much better this experience was with Paul and the BOR team. Note: we did work with Team K in 2022, so I am really late in writing in this...and the whole world had a lot of turnover in 2022, so this might have changed. The different parts of the business are very different...the damage treatment is a 4 to 5 star operation...the reconstruction is a 2 star, so that's why I'm giving them a 3. They did come out promptly and the owner is very nice. The quality of their work also greatly varies. The job manager said that on a scale of 10, his guys "are 6s and 7s, but the great thing is that always come back and fix up what they might have missed". If you have an emergency leak that needs water damage treated, they are great at that. When it comes to the construction to repair/place (install new floors, trim, etc...there are better and less expensive options around.

I selected Phil's bid, and work began on December 9, 2024. While the initial quality was acceptable, it declined during the second week as Phil prioritized a large commercial project. Order errors further delayed completion beyond Christmas. Phil resumed work in January, but progress was slow due to limited manpower and missing materials. On January 29, 2025, he completed several sections and agreed to correct issues such as misaligned siding, poor layouts, and incorrect trim (see pictures). He insisted on caulking and painting that week, aiming to finish by February 3. Due to heavy snow and freezing temperatures, I postponed painting until conditions improved. I have not seen Phil since. Over the past year, I have repeatedly contacted Phil via email and text. Although he occasionally promised to schedule the remaining work, he never followed through. The job remains unfinished. I request that by April 15 he either complete the work or refund sufficient funds to hire another contractor. My Responses: I can provide receipts for all the materials and supplies used. The receipts clearly show my credit card for payment. I can provide the materials and supplies list you provided. The lists have many mistakes and omissions, which were the source of the delays. My bank statements show payments of $7,500 on December 10, $7,500 on December 13, $7,500 on December 19, and $5,000 on January 19. Monthly temperature data from January 29 through February shows that February's minimum temperatures never exceeded 40°F. Such conditions are not suitable for caulking or painting.

After filing an insurance claim, the emergency service company they sent provided what we later realized was an inadequate response. We then hired our own expert to inspect for any potential "microbial intrusions"from the damage, which clarified what needed to be done. A friend recommended Advanced 24/7 Restoration for the restoration. Given the initial shortcomings, we decided to also have them handle the remaining remediation work. They responded quickly and professionally, promptly removing damaged materials and opening walls to inspect for hidden moisture and microbial intrusion. Advanced 24/7 set up comprehensive drying equipment and used proper remediation techniques to fully treat the affected areas. An independent inspection confirmed the home was free from microbial contamination. They then expertly replaced drywall, flooring, and baseboards with great attention to detail. Throughout the project, they communicated clearly, answered all questions, and showed care for our health and home. Their professionalism and thoroughness made a stressful situation easier to manage. We highly recommend Advanced 24/7 for restoration and remediation services.

In the end, I need to…read morework with him back and forth, back and forth.....Till now, he did not get his work done after two weeks..... He only did the half crawl space insulation (see attached photo). The walls without insulation have most pipes around the corner. Without insulation, the pipes can be easily broken again and again on Colorado snowy days. This could cause another water damage. As a company working on damage restoration, how could Marc just leave the crawl space like this? Marc insisted that the original crawl space was half-covered even after I sent him the video that I took in early that month, when the crawl space was fully covered by the insulation. I would say this is dishonesty. Before all work started, I confirmed with him many times that I want my insulation to be R60 (depth of the insulation is 20 inch), and every time he said yes. But when his contractors came, they only did R49 (17 inch of the insulation), and they said Marc never told him anything about R60 of the attic. Also the insulation weather stripping is missing. I need to work with him back and forth, back and forth to ask his contractors come to fix it. Too tired..... Plus, he said confidently that every client he works with got the permit from the town. But when I ask him about how to get the permit, he even did not know that the contractor license is required to pull the permit, he said "they just need the insulation company name from me". Obviously, he never pulled the permit for his clients before.... This is the worst experience I've ever had...If you are looking for a restoration, look further.....Don't touch this one.
