A few months ago, I brought in a Veronica Beard scuba jacket that came back with numerous snags and pulled threads throughout the fabric. The manager agreed to have it repaired, and it was eventually fixed. I decided to give them another chance and later brought in two similar jackets. I specifically warned the owner about the previous issue and asked them to be careful. Unfortunately, one jacket again came back with several snags, while the other had its only center-front snap pulled completely out. I agreed to let them attempt the repairs. After approximately two weeks and multiple follow-ups, I learned that the snap-damaged jacket had simply been sitting in the manager's office and had not been repaired. An attempted replacement was eventually made, but the snap was a noticeably different, bright silver piece that did not match the jacket. I ultimately asked for the jacket back and a refund so I could handle the repair myself. I received a refund for the dry-cleaning charges but no reimbursement for the damaged garment. I also contacted the corporate office to report the situation but never received a response or follow-up. This was not my first issue with this location--I previously had a wool coat returned with broken buttons, which I chose not to pursue at the time. I'm not writing this out of anger, but as a caution to others. Based on my experience, I would be comfortable taking basic shirts here, but I would not trust this location with expensive, delicate, or difficult-to-replace garments.
