In the Fall of 2025 I was advised a cap should be replaced. The ran my ins. and advised it would be covered completely. It was replaced. however nxt time I went back the girl advised me I had a balance of 99.00 at the time I advised them I didn't have the amount and would have to pay later. I had to go today, feb 10th to ck. my bite for my night guard. when I went to leave I told the girl I wanted to pay on my balance, 50. the girl proceeded to tell me she would have to ck. with her mgr to see if she could accept a partial pymnt. She came back and said no they could not accept a partial pymnt. I should have walked but was made to feel embarrassed and humiliated and paid the balance. I told the girl this was not right ton make patient feel they need to pay in full with they do not have the full amount at that time and any payment would be better than none. I have since made several calls to different numbers in attempt to find out who actually owns the business to let them know of the Officer Mgrs . attitude. I have voiced my displeasure with those at another office. Be sure you know upfront if you will owe them any money and have it to pay. This cap was no small amount.

Today we were told that my Wife she needs a special perio cleaning at double the normal rate, so about the same cost as before the discount plan. They also push for cancer screenings and flouride treatments on top of everything else. The last visit they had her sign a waiver because she refused to get her 2 front teeth crowned at $3200. Also they send you 4 text message reminders plus phone you to remind you too.. Bordering on harassment.

My previous dentist looked at the films, says yes a scaling would be a good idea at some point, not urgent and said this approach to refuse my request for a cleaning which I get every 3 months, could have prevented additional buildup was irresponsible - (while I'm deciding on a $2000 procedure) - clearly they wanted the other higher cost procedure. Here's my story: I have had a bridge on the side, a crown on lower back tooth and veneers on top front 6 teeth..spending over $15,000.00 out of pocket, after my insurance paid their portion ( but the money isn't the issue) I am constantly "aware" of my teeth. I feel the edges and surface of each individual tooth chafing and cutting the inside of my lips and mouth. The top and bottom of my tongue are raw. I'm conscious of this discomfort always: watching tv, reading, listening to music, trying to smile. My lips are always raw and chapped. I have returned to Dr Crystals office on 5 occasions with tears in my eyes pleading with her to shave, file , buff them even remove them ( which can't be done because she filed my teeth down to little nubs) The effects of these procedures have had such a negative effect on my day to day life. I'm not even worrying about their difference in shape, sizes and thicknesses . At this point that doesn't matter. Would I recommend you and your family go here? The office is beautiful and clean. I was released from her practice because her hygienist recommended a service and at the time I did not feel that I needed it and could not afford it. She basically abandoned me. If you follow the story, she will be reported to the Florida Board of dentistry. There is so much more to the story and she has failed to meet her ethical obligations that I guess she forgot because it was so long ago when she took an oath . I'm not sure if she submits a form to everyone to fill out to see if they're a good fit for her practice. What does a good fit even mean ,if anyone knows please reach out to me and educate me. It's a shame that some doctors and Dentist feel that they have the power over a patient and they can just abuse that power and get away with it. Please follow the story because she will not be getting away with it. I have the same dental insurance the I had for the last 30 year. I NEVER PAID out-of-pocket before. Since this was my second attempt at their office I asked if she had the time to do a cleaning today. The hygienist told me no because she only had a half hour. I originally scheduled the appointment to get my teeth cleaned. Needless to say my teeth are still not cleaned. Ironically, the way to prevent gingivitis is to have your teeth cleaned regularly.

They did the exrays than shot me up with novocaine left me sitting there for quit some time assuming she was with another pacient when returning she started to extract my tooth and I stopped her and explained I could feel the pain she ignored me and continued to extract the tooth, as I expressed earlier the tooth was hanging on by a string there should of never been pain involved! She than left and another lady started to use an instrument in my mouth that was a camera to send to lab so they can make a partial to replace the tooth, she spent quite a period of time in what she was doing and I had a feeling I was working with a student. The doctor returned and proceded to take the instrument redoing what the student was doing. She informed the lab takes about two weeks I was than taken to the front desk and paid $868 for the visit. Went back in two weeks the doctor put the partial in my mouth using force I told her it was hurting she proceeded togging in a upward position the appliance came out almost forced down my throat. After making so many adjustments to the appliance that still did not work I told her this was non acceptial and I wanted a new appliance made. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks without a tooth. I was sent a bill for over a hundred dollars which I completely ignored. I went back in two weeks again the appliance did not fit without causing me disconfort finally she said there is nothing more she was able to do for me as I was leaving they asked me to stop by the front desk where I was asked to pay $200.00 I laughed and smiled send me the bill in the mail than walked out. I will refuse to pay for their services.
