I went to get my teeth cleaned. At first they would not see me until got medical clearance and was put an antibiotic. I did that. Since I was a new patient they wanted to take X-rays and for me to have an initial exam. They said I had the "early stages of gingivitis" and had to go on a preventative plan needed to come back for two more visits to clean my teeth at bargain price of close to $1,000 out of pocket. I have the same dental insurance the I had for the last 30 year. I NEVER PAID out-of-pocket before. Since this was my second attempt at their office I asked if she had the time to do a cleaning today. The hygienist told me no because she only had a half hour. I originally scheduled the appointment to get my teeth cleaned. Needless to say my teeth are still not cleaned. Ironically, the way to prevent gingivitis is to have your teeth cleaned regularly. read more

I made an appointment to have a front bottom tooth extracted that was hanging on by a thread I explained to the doctor I realized I was in need of other dental work although at this time all I wanted done was my bottom tooth extracted. They did the exrays than shot me up with novocaine left me sitting there for quit some time assuming she was with another pacient when returning she started to extract my tooth and I stopped her and explained I could feel the pain she ignored me and continued to extract the tooth, as I expressed earlier the tooth was hanging on by a string there should of never been pain involved! She than left and another lady started to use an instrument in my mouth that was a camera to send to lab so they can make a partial to replace the tooth, she spent quite a period of time in what she was doing and I had a feeling I was working with a student. The doctor returned and proceded to take the instrument redoing what the student was doing. She informed the lab takes about two weeks I was than taken to the front desk and paid $868 for the visit. Went back in two weeks the doctor put the partial in my mouth using force I told her it was hurting she proceeded togging in a upward position the appliance came out almost forced down my throat. After making so many adjustments to the appliance that still did not work I told her this was non acceptial and I wanted a new appliance made. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks without a tooth. I was sent a bill for over a hundred dollars which I completely ignored. I went back in two weeks again the appliance did not fit without causing me disconfort finally she said there is nothing more she was able to do for me as I was leaving they asked me to stop by the front desk where I was asked to pay $200.00 I laughed and smiled send me the bill in the mail than walked out. I got a fake porcelain tooth for something that was never needed in the first place. I want to know if there's a decay underneath your tooth is there a reason to remove that whole molar and replace it for a fake porcelain while there's no pain, no shaking, no swelling, no nothing, no infection, no bleeding? I felt like I was betrayed and not helped the way I was supposed to be helped. Even the assistant agreed and said yes they have to remove it. And I thought it was never needed. Why? Why? Why? They will convince you. Don't let that happen. What happen to if it ain't broke don't fix it? I'm done! Where are my old school doctors? I don't recommend her: Dr Torres just for this! This could have been prevented in the first place. They need a new doctor over there! I think she's doing this on purpose and hopefully it can't happen to anyone else. She did it to me on purpose. Nothing is the same. I had to get a root canal for nothing with her. It was not good. Please do your research. I tried getting Invisalign from her and she said no. Why? She'll do her work based on if she likes you or not. Please be aware that the team is not that friendly either. It's a very good location but not too good of a practice. Do your homework if you are told you need a deep cleaning. I was told I needed that instead of the regular cleaning and it would be around $1200. I also was told I need a root canal. I went for a second opinion and the dentist said I don't need a deep cleaning and if I did then I should be seeing a periodontist. I did need a root canal but on a different tooth than what White Eagle identified. The office was very clean and staff were very pleasant. read more

I visited this dental office about 2 months after they opened. I was visiting my sister in Bradenton and needed a teeth cleaning. My previous CA dentist passed away & received a flyer offering a free cleaning. Unfortunately I experienced a hard sell on periodontal work & an estimate of $900. While the office was very clean, I felt that the experience was very misleading as they won't give me a teeth cleaning, instead I paid for X-rays & found a great dentist in CA who said I didn't need a periodontal deep clean & cleaned my teeth & all went well. read more

I have used this dental office several times and found a good level of professionalism. Recently I had a cleaning scheduled and Christina was prompt, friendly and thorough. Went in for my cleaning that I have waited 6 months for. To my surprise I didn't receive a cleaning but rather a request by the dentist that I desperately need a DEEP CLEANING and the cost would be $1600. I was told that I have major bone loss due to an old crown. Now, here is my favorite part, when I said I did not want to have a deep cleaning just the normal cleaning and I was told that was not possible. This company sends out a new patient mailer and it offers a full check up and a teeth cleaning for $79 and then you become a new patient but the end result is nothing but x rays to try and scare you and nothing actually gets done. Beware! Money is Dr. Parag's main motivation!! I absolutely would NOT recommend this dental office. After taking time off of my hectic work schedule, I was disappointed that they abruptly canceled my "cleaning only" appointment that I clearly articulated when scheduling this appointment. Dr. Parag stated he'd not proceed with the cleaning unless he performed xrays and an exam again that I just recently had completed on 5/1. He also wouldn't take responsibility for the scheduling of the cleaning appointment even though the appointment was scheduled through their 941-216-0170 office number. Bottom line, Dr. Parag wasn't understanding of the circumstance and showed his true motive for money and not the personal well-being of his potential clients. Definitely unfortunate because my wife and I were looking forward to a long-term relationship with multiple check-ups and cleanings annually.
