    I am so impressed! Nicolas is like a dog-whisperer! Whenever we have to trim Josie's nails, it was always such a pain as it took a lot of work and she would be fussing the whole time. Even when we tried giving her a dog chew to keep her entertained and distracted, it was still difficult. We tried going to our vet to get her nails trimmed and that wasn't a pleasant experience as well as Josie was unhappy and had some bleeding from it. But it was such a different experience at Drummond's Pet Grooming. Josie greeted Nicolas with her usual energetic energy, but quickly calmed down and her nails trim was done without any fuss, no treats involved, and no bleeding either. Wow! I'm a fan! Even after the trim, Josie was her happy self instead of trying to get away which is what she did previously with any nail trim. Josie will be back as we have now found the perfect groomer for Josie!     Some heavy dog-mom guilt settled in this week as I was looking at my shaggy pup. I heard about Drummond's Pet Grooming and took Sunnydale in for his first grooming in years. #theshame Nicholas was incredibly sweet and calm with Sunny, who went into his rescue dog mindset immediately. Nicholas did a fabulous job with Sunny's coat and was even able to cut most of his nails without sedation, which never happens anymore! I shared photos of him with family and friends all night last night (that beard!), so I had to leave a review for others as well!

    I just took my baby boye charlie here 10 minutes ago for a nail trim and it was soo fast ! in and out in literally 5 minutes. I'm so glad that theres a place on bayfarm! no appointment needed. charlie is almost 10 with black nails so I'm way too nervous to try to cut them myself with worry about cutting too close. BUT he was extremely professional and efficient- my dog is usually a nervous wreck anywhere that's not home and he was calm and collected when he came out. super reasonably priced! next time theres time i want charlie to come here for a trim because his coats a mess heh. now hes home with short nails and he can run around without worry! this will be my new to go for charlies nail needs. highly reccomended.

    Such a great experience from the time I called to set up the appointment! This was our first time getting Odie groomed (10 mo old mini-bernadoodle), so we weren't sure what to expect. Nicholas was great at setting expectations about what would be possible for a first puppy grooming. He was very caring and great with Odie. It was clear that Odie's comfort and safety was a top priority. I also appreciated the tips he gave us for maintenance in between grooming. Will definitely be making regular appointments! Highly recommend!

    We just took our 5 month old goldendoodle on recommendation from our friends. He has never been to the groomer, so we were a little nervous. We just wanted a nail cut and trim of the paws and around the eyes. The whole thing took about 10 minutes and Leo wasn't nervous at all! I can't wait to take him back for a full grooming.

    Several of the Bay Farm Island dogs we walk get groomed by Nicolas. The dogs look so great and the clients love him so much that I went by to meet him and was very impressed. I watched him for awhile and since the first time have been by several times and watched him work, (you can see him groom from outside the shop,) and Nicolas is very gentle and respectful with the dogs. I thought he brought something special to the (grooming) table (pun intended,) and I found out that he has studied canine massage and incorporates those techniques in his grooming and bathing. Awesome. Recently I brought my my almost-15-year-old pug to him for a bathing session since he'd been scratching even though we were up to date on his flea treatment, and afterwards he seemed very relaxed and was walking more smoothly. It turns out that's because he had his hips and pelvis released! Nicolas showed me that one of his ears had an infection and he'd cleaned it out. We went to the vet on his recommendation. My pug's fur is fluffier than usual, which is great since I pet and love on him constantly, and I so appreciate that my little old guy had his own bodywork session! Now I understand why my clients are raving about Nicolas. I've met many groomers in my 15+ years of dog walking, and he's the truly the one I like the best.

    Nicholas did a fabulous job on my fur baby today. During the covid shut down I got desperate and did a little "trim" to my bischon mix. Let's just say I had no business doing that! He fixed my mistake and we are both happier! Very reasonably priced service, very professional, and very skil

Sweet girl. One day I booked with Ashley and got to the shop and was told Ashley was sick so someone else did Munchies grooming. I took my dog home and was very disappointed. Just wasn't how my dog usually is groomed. I ended up calling and taking him back a few days later for Ashley to tidy up the cut. Fast forward to last month I made an appointment online on a Friday. When you book online it says REQUEST, WAITING for approval. I made the request on Friday for that Monday appointment. Well, I never heard back, never got a call, did not get a text , nothing. So Monday comes, I assume they couldn't honor my appointment. The shop calls me and tells me if I want to bring Munchie in, ever, I would need to pay for Mondays No show. I explained the situation how I did not get confirmation, no one called so I didn't think they could take him in. After going back and forth and this very rude female butting in to our conversation which they had me on speakerphone, I told the owner Nathan that I couldn't pay 120$ for the missed appointment plus another 140$ for a new appointment. I always tip 20$!!! Nathan tells me, well ok he will just charge me 60$ for Mondays appointment. I explain to him , what it says online when booking, it says request waiting on approval! It does not say confirmed! I have been a customer for years. I always tip. Nathan says no, Munchie cannot come back unless I pay the 60$. He said that I no showed a few times in the past. If that was the case, why was I never charged or this was never mentioned to me. And how can they just make up a No show price of $120? No one has ever said anything to me ever about a no show until this happened. I expected them to consider the thousands of dollars I have paid them over the years. And to consider that besides this incident that was not my fault, I have been a loyal customer! I take my dog to them once a month! Every month! But no, Nathan insisted either I pay for the missed appointment from that Monday or not to ever come back! I think that says a lot about them, and now that I have found MOBILE groomers who come to your home for same price and do a great job, I am happy this happened. Otherwise I would probably have stayed there giving them my money. All in all, Nathan does not value his customers, or this would have been handled differently. I am disappointed my dog means that little to them as a customer and my years of spending my money with them means nothing, but I am happy I moved on to this awesome mobile grooming! It is so nice, so convenient you know your dog is right outside in the van getting groomed. I don't have to wait around all day to see if A Cut Above Grooming is gonna have my dog 2 hours or 4 hours. The shop itself is not clean. There is usually dog poop on the ground outside, that stays there all day from when I drop my dog off, until I pick him up, the same poop is still there. Kinda lame considering there's 4 or 5 workers there sometimes.

I trusted that he would be safe with them. I took him to boarding school for two months to fix his past traumas and let him do a one month daycare here afterwards. He seemed a lot better with more socialization. Thank you to wag hotel Oakland for being patient and letting my dog thrive.     Shame on you Wag Hotel!…read more I scheduled boarding for my dog Hans at your facility back on 1/28 in preparation for a trip to Japan on May 3 - 8, which you accepted on 1/31. However, when we arrived at your facility on May 2nd, the day before my flight to Japan, your front desk staff informed me that Hans' 5/2 - 5/8 boarding was being denied due to him having a heart murmur condition. Even though I've been a loyal customer to you for over 10 years; and that Hans' heart murmur condition had already been noted in your system since 2024; and given that my flight to Japan was less than 24 hours away; and given the fact that your facility waited until I was at the checkin desk in order to inform me of Hans' boarding denial; I was still told that there was nothing that your facility could do and that it was simply following company policy. Luckily for me, I demanded to speak with a manager who then took it upon himself to assist me in finding another facility that would board Hans at the very last minute. So kudos to that manager. However, you should know that he had to make several calls going down your "other recommended facilities" list in order to find a facility that was willing to board Hans on such short notice even with him having a preexisting heart murmur condition. So again, kudos to that manager. So unfortunately, this is how our relationship ends after I've been a loyal customer to you for over 10 years. Policy aside, not only should I have been notified far in advance to my May 2nd boarding schedule, but that I should have also been given an accommodation due to the last minute nature of your notification. It was simply amazing to me to hear both your Manager, and your front desk staff all admit that a notification error had, in fact, been made by your boarding authorization unit, but due to company policy there was nothing that could be done and that Hans would simply have to boarded elsewhere. Obviously, both my years of customer loyalty and the fact that your authorization unit had made a horrendous mistake, made absolutely no difference whatsoever in my situation. So goodbye, and again shame on you Wag Hotel!
