This was such a great find! We were just walking in downtown Renton looking for something to eat. I had no idea this was here. The tasting room is very cute and seems like the have room for private events. As a teacher, I also love the mini gift section with books written by the owner. Bonus: Her books have BIPOC characters.

Good friends, good wine, and good snacks!

My friends and I love this wine bar! We always order a bubbly white and still white, but I am certain that no matter what wine is ordered, the selection will be delicious. Management is great and very attentive. They don't even mind when we bring a smattering of food to graze on and laugh a little too loud. This is a business that you will find yourself at again and again. I cannot recommend it enough!

Matt offers a great selection of wines including a Live Wine (all organic orange wine) in a comfortable setting. I've tried the sparkling white, sparkling rose, house red, and the orange wine. All of them were very good. Drum Roll offers a number of cool events and tastings during the week and the service is excellent. I recommend stopping in for a glass (or three) of the excellent wines.

Great Rosé! Love that is fur baby friendly here. We had a great Sunday afternoon in downtown Renton. Love their wine!

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Rosé and it exceeded all my expectations. The balance between the fruit and the dryness was perfect. Great Sunday afternoon wine. Highly recommended!

I love the welcoming owners and inviting atmosphere. The wine is delicious, the garage doors that roll up create a very cool vibe, and new friends are made when I stop by. The private concerts and wine classes make this small business such an amazing treasure in downtown Renton. If you need an outing, a place to have a great glass of wine, or chill out after a busy day...go! Trust me...you will be welcomed like an old friend!

Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon/early evening here! The proprietors, Matt and Sundee, were both extremely personable, welcoming and helpful. I asked for a tasting flight recommendation and they did not disappoint! Matt started me with their delicious, citrusy, Living Wine, followed by their Drum Roll White, then their Drum Roll Red, finished by their Syrah! All very delicious! Place was an also very clean, open and relaxed. Also noticed some books there written by Sundee! Congrats! Can't wait to go there again!

An amazing addition to downtown Renton and the region. The Drum Roll tasting room is gorgeous and surrounded by good dining options. But it's the WINE that really sings...well-made blends, drinkable NOW, while honoring each varietal. When you walk in, notice the bottle on the display wall, covered in award ribbons. The accolades are real, and so is the flavor of these artisan wines. Perfect for a shopping break or happy hour, Drum Roll offers affordable tasting flights by varietal, wine by the glass, and excellent bottle prices. And get on their list for carefully curated concerts in the tasting room. "Wine is a constant proof that God loves us and loves to see us happy." -Benjamin Franklin, 1779

We stopped by for a glass of wine after exploring town and had a lovely experience! Very friendly, helpful, and wine was delicious! Highly recommend!

We were put on the waitlist after doing so but then got a text several days later saying two spots opened for us, so I snagged our seats as fast as I could. Really appreciate the staff on the other line for reaching out to me and "reserving" my spots unless I let them know I'm not interested! Getting here, there is the Meyden Garage that offers 3-hour free parking for customers of Whisk and other surrounding businesses though most spaces inside there did not have the signage saying that so it was confusing parking around there. Getting inside the building, you'll see what can only be described as a haven for chefs and aspiring cooks of all levels; you have cooking tools, pots and pans, cookbooks, plates, neatly folded cloth napkins and a bunch of other things strewn around in such a colorful and organized manner. The kitchen for our cooking class was clean and spacious, with all the ingredients we need prepped and set out in front of us. We worked in pairs prepping and cooking all our dishes throughout. Chef Thanh Tang was very informative and engaging throughout the whole process, and the other staff working with him were efficient in cleaning used utensils and keeping everyone's prepped items in check. Instructions were very clear, and directions flowed very well since we made one dumpling after another! Since both of us don't really cook and we had many questions to ask, it took us a bit to catch up with the rest of the class, but all the folding techniques became much easier to do thanks to our teacher. For this particular class, we pan-fried the shrimp and chive dumplings, while the wontons and steamed vegetable dumplings we prepped were steamed while we all took a break. As for the spicy green beans, I actually had the chance to stir-fry a non-spicy version of them in front of the class! All the food we made here was really good, and we came close to having to box some of it home too! Everything here was worth the $150 per person from the experience to the food, and I'd take another class here in the future! For reference, the class I took is called "More Dumplings, Dumpling?" and ran on a Saturday from 5:30-8:30pm though that's just a timeframe since I did stay slightly longer just to finish my food!

It was a fun experience. You show up and get greeted by their staff. You'll find your station and go to work! Some of the ingredients are pre-prepped which is nice otherwise you'd be there all night haha. The class was roughly 2 hours long and then we enjoyed dinner all together so roughly a 2.5 hour experience when it was all said and done. The fans kick in so it can be a tad bit loud when everyone is cooking but the instructor was great and made his way around the room to make sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to do. They had 2 additional staff members helping out to make sure any ingredients you needed were available. Plus - you get a glass of wine :) Fun date night!

Amazing wines, creative cocktails, solid snacks, great service and even games. You could wander in "for one flight" and somehow emerge six hours later wondering where the time went (in the best way.) On the wine side, they offer several thoughtfully curated flights, or you can build your own adventure. Which I highly recommend. The dessert wines alone are incredible, and the selection of aromatic whites is seriously impressive. No matter your palate, there's something here that will make you pause, sip again, and nod approvingly. And then there are the wine-based cocktails that deserve their own standing ovation. A wine tasting room doing cocktails this well is rare. We tried the Espresso Martini, the French 125, and the Lavender Lemon Martini, and every single one was better than I expected grape-based cocktails to be. Like, pleasantly shocked. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Pike Place and enjoy wine (or cocktails, or fun, or all of the above) this place is a must. I can almost guarantee it'll become your new favorite spot.

This used to be one of my favorite spots at Pike Market. For years, I made it a tradition to bring out-of-town guests here. Over time, I have brought more than 100 people here. It had a charming, warm, and welcoming feel--like a hidden gem in the city. It oozed with kindness and fun. Unfortunately, that has completely flipped! Since the new manager, Anthony, took over, the entire atmosphere has shocked me. What was once inviting now is rigid, cold, and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the way I was treated. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was both surprising and disappointing given my long history with this place. Great establishments are built not just on food or ambiance, but on how people are treated--and that piece is clearly missing now. It's especially unfortunate because the rest of the team still shows glimpses of what this place used to be. Jordon, was genuinely kind and pleasant, but one positive interaction couldn't outweigh the manager's miserable attitude. It's hard to see a place that once felt so special lose its charm like this. I know the winemaker Paul is a great person - so it is hard to leave such a terrible review, but at the same time, if this was my place -- I would want to know what was happening behind the scenes at my establishment. I truly hope leadership reflects on how customer experience is being handled moving forward. Don't give money to places that have toxic attitudes and are joy crushers! Life is too short and far too precious! In the meantime, there are many nearby spots that consistently deliver both quality and incredible hospitality. Skip this place, and instead go to Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room, The Lonely Siren, The Pink Door, Place Pigalle, or Maximilien. Those places are working very hard to create an exceptional experience!

I've never had champagne to start a flight and I absolutely loved it. The flight was well placed with each wine growing bolder.
