I have been coming here now for seven months and I feel like I need to tell everyone my experience. Laura who answered the phone was BEYOND helpful and such a delight! I was moving from another state and needed to establish a new doctor and I was able to get in around my time not the doctors time. (I love the flexibility they offer ) Laura called me to confirm my appt the day before and asked me if I had any questions and even asked about my move! ( No one ever stops to ask how people are these days!) When I arrived I was there 15 mins early and I was the only patient in the waiting area. ( I read reviews they over book there are over 8-10 people waiting which is a LIE!!!!) I was greeted by the Dr and we went over all my medically and past doctor visit. For privacy reasons I will not list why I was there but when I left I felt very comfortable with the staff and the Dr. I am going on my 8 month and I enjoy coming here. I never have any issues, I never wait more then I expect and the staff is amazing! I wanted to take my time to thank everyone!

Regarding her PNES, she would get an aura and often a seizure that would last 3-12+ hours. Even with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and medication, the seizures only reduced and auras reduced to about 2 times per week. We had our first visit with Dr. Kye in January. After asking us numerous questions, he concluded we were mostly treating the symptoms and not the cause. He changed about half her medication. In the past 6 weeks, she has had no auras. She has also had no bipolar episodes in over 7 weeks. This is a game changer for her and our family. I highly recommend Dr. Kye. Joseph P.

About eight months ago I found myself in the deepest darkest depression that I have ever known. I have suffered from depression for most of my life, but this is the first time I have ever had thoughts of suicide. Dr. Rodriguez saw me twice a week for six weeks and customize a program for me which worked miracles. The program at "the center", deals with many conditions from addiction to eating disorders. My specific issue is anxiety and depression. I won't going to details about my treatment but all I can say is that I really felt that I was being listened to and treated as an individual. During my time in the partial hospitalization phase of my program, the staff took care of making sure I had access traditional treatments such as therapy (Group), and even things like aerial yoga. I am a healthcare professional and I have worked in the field of mental health. This is the only place that I have ever seen where the patient is treated like an individual, and not a cookie-cutter approach. To sum it up, the staff was courteous and caring, the facility was clean and adequate, lunch was provided as well as snacks. My primary therapist is wonderful, her name is Abby. I have met the other therapist and they are, I'm sure just as great. I am doing so much better now, I am back to work and having a much easier time interacting in social situations.if you are looking for a place that will help you in your dark time I would highly recommend the Delray Center for healing.

Avoid this practice if you value transparency, continuity of care, or basic respect…read more I was a patient at MindSpa, specifically with Beth Halprin APRN and had what I can only describe as one of the most confusing, disorganized, and emotionally harmful experiences I've ever had with a mental health provider. After disclosing trauma, I was given a diagnosis I was never told about directly. I later found out this diagnosis was documented in my file -- undisclosed, uncollaborated, and unmentioned during sessions. I was then abruptly discharged without a taper plan, treatment transition, or any written explanation. Multiple staff members I spoke to were confused or hostile when I followed up. Calls went unanswered. Promises of a return call were broken. One staff member admitted the person I was told to contact might no longer work there -- then panicked and hung up. I've now formally requested my full medical records, internal and external communications, and MindSpa's internal policies multiple times -- with no response. This has prevented me from safely transitioning to a new provider. I am now running out of prescribed medication while navigating divorce, unemployment, and serious life changes -- all worsened by MindSpa's abandonment of care. I'm preparing to file a formal ethics complaint with the Florida Department of Health. I've made this clear to them. They have not responded in writing. If this review disappears, I'll repost it and add more detail. I'm not being dramatic -- I'm being factual. Patients deserve better than silence and gaslighting. And I will not be quiet about it.

Which, might I add, I had no say in nor way of knowing WHEN I would find out that I needed to cancel. Therefore, in this case, canceling 24 hours prior to my app wasn't an option. I was going to be charged whether or not I showed up. No money invested that required compensation. No time invested prior to the app. So whats the charge for? Looking at all the availability, it's not like the missed app was in high demand. Basically, when life takes an unexpected turn (whether good or bad) within 24 hours of a customers appointment, that becomes an opportunity to make money off of your client without having to work or provide any type of service to/for them? I just don't have that kind of disposable income. I know a lot of businesses do this as well & I just don't agree with it. I suppose they have to make money one way or another. ‍

Dr. Gross is, by far, one the most competent and empathetic psychiatrists I've seen in a long time…read more I am extremely surprised to see a couple of negative reviews, so I feel like I need to inform people reading the posts of my experience. 1. Contrary to another reviewer's opinion, Dr. Gross does not give patients "whatever they ask for." He does not put a band-aid on the illness, but rather attempts to find the underlying cause and treats accordingly. He is careful and thorough with his examinations and, with patient input prescribes what he feels would be most beneficial. He does not limit his care by taking certain medications off of the table, but also will not just prescribe a medication because a patient requests it. Certain doctors do not prescribe controlled substances at all. Dr. Gross does prescribe them if he feels they will be effective and is not careless when doing so. 2. The same reviewer I mentioned above commented that the charge of $150 is ridiculous and that Dr. Gross is money hungry. Because of the level of care I feel that I am getting an awesome deal at less than $200 a month. Dr. Gross does not accept insurance, so it only makes sense that the visits cost what they do. He is not "money hungry." In fact he is the opposite. During my very first appointment he told me that once the medications started working and I was stable he would would schedule the appointments every two to three months instead of once a month. He understands that it can be difficult pay for monthly appointments and will still continue to refill the medications at no cost between appointments 3. In my opinion the receptionists are awesome. They have always been helpful and are flexible with appointment times. I have not had any bad experiences with them at all. 4. Because I have an issue with being assertive and articulating exactly how I feel, he was more than happy to let my girlfriend sit in on the appointment. I was very grateful for this and she appreciated the invitation I would absolutely recommend Dr. Gross to anyone who has been unsuccessful in their treatment with other providers, as I have. He caught things that I had overlooked for years and I am lucky to have found him. He speaks to you as an equal and very willing to put in the work to help in any way he can

So I waited... and waited... and waited. At 3:22 the therapist finally messaged me telling me that the company never informed them of our appointment and we'd have to reschedule. I was confused and told the therapist that the company told me that she as the therapist was supposed to contact me before the meeting. Then I get a call from the company. A woman informed me that my therapist had a medical emergency and was unable to attend my appointment. To which I said, that doesn't make any sense, the therapist just told me that you as the company never looped her in that she had an appointment with me. The woman on the phone said nooo that's not correct, let's just make a new appointment, what day are you available. Immediately, I did not feel respected and this back and fourth was extremely unprofessional. I informed the woman that this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will be looking for services elsewhere. Then the woman said okay and hung up. The therapist then texted me that the company didn't put my appointment on the correct date on her schedule. Which makes no sense to me. Why contact me about our appointment on a day that my appointment isn't apparently scheduled for??? Someone or multiple people were lying, I'm unsure. Please save your time and do not go here.
