Well first you've got to find the bloomin' place (go to the town square, look for the red bricked building and go to the back of it, walk in through the door and up the stairs...), and then you've got to work out what the heck a library is doing on the top floor of a town hall. Your guess is as good as mine...
My brother told me that Dromore Library might provide me with some information on this wonderfully cultured town, so with that in mind, I decided to have a peek. Yep, in through the door, up the stairs, and into a sort of little corridor-cum-information area. There were a good few leaflets on exceptionally random stuff that had nothing to do with Dromore, plus those tourist information leaflets all about The Zoo / Streamvale Open Farm / Dundonald International Ice Bowl.
Oh, and nothing on Dromore. Not a sausage (though that would have been an interesting discovery). Well that was that idea out the window...
I did take a look in the actual library and noticed two things:
- It's fairly decently sized and has plenty of books. Both of which make for a good library.
- No-one was there. Apart from the librarian it was as dead as a doornail.
